This is NOT an RV Park! A single RV pad on private property perched on a hill above the Animas Valley. All the perks of being in town Durango with lots of privacy and 360 degree views. Walking distance to laundromat, convenience store and restaurant. Ideal for a couple who wants a quiet home base to explore all Durango has to offer. Ample parking available next to the RV site. 50 amp hookup with sewer and water. There is a trash and recycling can at the bottom of the hill. Please no kids.This site is one of a kind. This is not in an RV park but on private property. On a hill which affords postcard worthy views of the Animas Valley. In-town Durango with easy access on a driveway connects you to everything you need. Convenience and privacy is a very rare combination. This is ideal for a couple or up to 4 people who want quiet and privacy. Because there are no activities on site, it is not ideal for kids. Please no kids.

Outstanding view of the Animas valley. Very quiet location. Close enough to Durango to be convenient to the trails etc There is a steep gravel driveway with a sharp turn at the top!! Very friendly host.

In Town With Animas Valley Views
This is a great location if you want to be close to what the town of Durango has to offer (which is a lot); a short drive gets you right downtown and there are also conveniences within walking distance. Keep in mind that it's a small space, best suited for nothing bigger than a small-ish trailer 24' max... read the listing! There's a great view. Some traffic noise since you're in town, but that dies down at night.

Hosts are helpful but gave us space and respectful of boundaries. The view is great as advertised, water and electric easy to access. Sewer clean out is a bit above ground so challenging for use it with camper van with low clearance tank cleanout connection.

We loved our one night stay. The view is fantastic! Private, FHU, and convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a phenomenal 4 night stay here and are looking forward to coming back! Epic views of the mountains, valley, and river. Hosts were super helpful with directions and parking assistance. A great choice if you’d like to be closer in town.
