A view you will never forget of Mount Blanca. Just wait till the stars come out. 5 acres of your own peace and quiet camping ground with 60ft x 60ft pebble stone for any car or camper to station on. Come stay in one of the most amazing and peaceful places you’ll ever see. Pure peace and quiet. Minutes from lake como rd (road up to Mt. Blanca) and 20 minutes from the National Sand Dunes. The nice town of Alamosa is 20 minutes straight west with great shops and local restaurants. The space Excavated flat land for camping. We don't have plumbing or electrical on site. This is just raw excavated land. You must bring your own means of sleeping (tent, RV, Car, Van, etc.) and shower/bathroom are at the Alamosa Recreation Center 20 minutes away. Please note that the bench and fire pit are not at the premises at the moment as someone has taken them unfortunately :(. Directions Heading west on 160, take Vine Ave (smoother entry road) and head north toward the mountain up the street. Take a right on 11th Street. Drive all the way down 11th street until you see 2 yellow and green cabins are on your right - keep driving down and we are the next lot. You will see a pebble/gravel drive way on your right. The lot is between Pinon and Spruce Avenue. Make sure to have a suitable 4 wheel (front wheel) drive car for gravel area, it can be deep in some areas and 2 wheel drive can get stuck in some areas. Suggest riding more along the shallow areas of gravel when entering lot.
