Hi. :) I currently live on the Space Coast in Florida and own land in Colorado. I'm currently working on my own tiny house and transition. In the mean time I'd love to offer my land for rental to tiny home owners living their dream. :) Short term, long term or seasonal. If you're interested hit me up! :o) This site is 5.2 acres of lush land for self sustaining Tiny Homes. Above 9000 feet elevation. Campfires allowed. Pets ok. Gardening is allowed for long term tenants. NO GROWING. Rent the property for $20 a day, $400 a month with a 6 months lease or $200 a month with a year or longer lease. Hike in your own back yard or drive 20 minutes to local store and pub, 20 minutes to Eagle Rock, 30 minutes to Tarryall Reservoir, 30 minutes to Sugar Loaf Mountain, 45 minutes to Pike National Forest, 2 hours south east of Vail Ski Resort, 3 hours southwest of Denver, 3 hours northwest of Colorado Springs. This property is for off grid only. There is electric, telephone, and cable to the property but currently there is no connections. There are no water or septic amenities. Nearby creek and reservoir. You will love your stay. :o) Come see the sunny side of Colorado!

Sunny Side Hills

This site was just a vacant lot with what looked like a for sale sign. No entrance, no place to really park a car. It wasn’t too hard to find but you’re literally in someone’s back and front hards with absolutely no privacy. The land is mostly a huge hill and then evens out but because I have a sedan we had to park at the bottom of the hill and carry everything up to the top to camp. No fire pit, no trees, and be prepared to bring your trash all the way home because we had no luck finding anywhere to dump it. There is no signal so make sure you know where you’re going before you leave because you have to drive through a very confusing community to get in and out.

Sunny Side Hills

Sunny Side Hill is a nice spot if you're looking to be in the middle of rolling landscape with a good book. There is nothing there, just a vacant lot. You won't find any markers, no entrance, no fire pit, etc. You simply pull off the road on to the grassland and set up camp. The spot we chose was rather windy, but you might try moving up the hill or even setting up camp on the top of the hill. It was very pretty and the neighbors are really nice. During the evening you'll hear the sounds of coyotes calling. And this spot is absolutely perfect for stargazing. It's really beautiful. One note about fires, please check with the local fire station (you will pass it on your way up if you take Elkhorn) to see if fires are permitted. If there is a fire ban, you can still get a burning permit for ten dollars. Also, make sure you have your latitude and longitude coordinates loaded before heading up. This one is not easy to find and you will not have good reception when you get back in there.

Never found the place. It’s not marked anywhere. In the middle of nowhere. With zero reception. It was like trying To find a needle in a hidden haystack.
