Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Located near the base of Mt. Blanca, a beautiful 14'er - and close to the Great Sand Dunes, wildlife and nature preserves, and reservoirs. Camp sites are located just 1 mile from the base of the mountain. The entire property is a hummingbird sanctuary, so your chances of seeing hummingbirds is quite high! We are also next to the elk migration crossing, so you could see elk, deer, pronghorns, or even get a visit from one of the wild horse packs in the valley! This is a great location if you want to be close to things, but feel like you're far away! Lots of athletes come to this area to train at the higher altitude! Visit the town of San Luis (the oldest town in Colorado), hop over to Antonito and check out the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic railroad, hit the UFO tower in Hooper, or just lounge on your campsite and get the best view of the Milky Way you've ever seen! Wifi available if you have a device that can connect at long range! Firewood, Fresh Baked Bread, Jams and other farm goodies available on site! RV dumpsite/Convenience Store/Water available at the RV park located 2 miles from the campsite!

this was an awesome spot! i don’t think there were any other campers when we went so it felt like we truly had the whole place to ourselves! the mountain view was absolutely incredible, and the open night sky was spectacular to see! our dogs absolutely loved it, didn’t want to leave! temperature was great, didn’t need electric hookups. was a little windy, but nothing some bungee cables couldn’t fix! the host was also very kind and detailed with instructions, and allowed an early check in. overall this was spot was awesome and i would highly recommend!

Quintana’s land was absolutely stunning. The views were amazing. It was real windy the night we pulled in and set up. The next morning was spectacular. I would definitely recommend if your wanting to get away from the city life.

The location was ideal for access to the Great Sand Dunes and had an excellent view of the sunset and Mt. Blanca. It was very nice to have space for our group to spread out and not worry about bothering others in a campground.

Quintan is very good at communicating, and the access was easy. The views are fabulous and the area is very quiet. If you need the RV park in town will let you use their dump station.

Nothing at all wrong with the site - amazing view and felt very secluded. Being out in the open on a windy night was, however, less than ideal - not at all the owner’s fault, but better planning on my part would have resulted in a spectacular stay! Eddie was super friendly and responsive, one of the best I’ve ever dealt with. If there’s no chance of high wind with 30+ mph gusts, book the site!

Édouard received us very well. The directions to get there were perfect. Very clean and very quiet place. It's very dark, the stars are magnificent. Good WIFI despite the distance. Thank you Édouard.

Camping here was absolutely perfect! Edward, the host, thought of every detail. The views were amazing. Communication was spectacular and we all enjoyed the fresh baked bread, strawberry, jalapeño, preserves, homemade lemonade, and a great fire pit. We hope to camp there again.

Eddie’s place has beautiful views of Blanca peak. His fresh bread and lemonade are very good! I wish this wasn’t a quick overnight on our way home. Eddie made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay again.
