We live on a lovely 2 acres in East Orchard Mesa. ( which is approximately 8 miles from downtown Palisade) Our property is adjacent to peach orchards and vineyards and has a gorgeous view of the Grand Mesa. There are lawns and gardens and a landscaped area to enjoy a campfire đŸ”„ In 2010, The Wedding House venue began hosting weddings. Our home has a past! Formerly a church, and built in 1910, the house was brought into the property in the mid 60’s and was thoroughly remodeled. Learn more about this land: Located in the East Orchard Mesa area of Palisade.(about 8 miles and 15 min. from both downtown Palisade and Grand Junction! We are surrounded by Peaches/Vineyards and have an awesome view of the Grand Mesa. Our property is also a wedding venue with lawns and open skies, fire pit area, bbq grill, porta potty and hand washing station. Close by shooting range and ATV BLM land. A favorite road biking route through the rolling hills of Palisade Wine country. You cannot beat the sunsets, rainbows, and mountain views. The “chapel” can be a place to have an outdoor meal with tables and chairs available. Plenty of parking.

This site is on the North side of the property and closer to the entrance. It has more gravel parking spaces, a lighted pavilion if you wish to set up some tables or play bocce ball! Or hang out after dark. (Lights out at 11 pm) Flanked with cherry trees and a border of flowers , shrubs and neighboring fruit trees, and pretty grassy areas, you’re able to choose from a number of options to set up tenting.

Close to the barn, and the Willys Truck, this site has pretty views and a few trees for shade. It’s closer to the fire pit and barn, and depending on how many sites are reserved, you could have a little more of a social time because guests will be walking to the porta potty. This site has more lighting near it at night. (Lights on timer)

Blue Spruce Corner
Friendly and communicative hosts! Bob and Donna's place, on the Fruit & Wine Byway, is a great basecamp for exploring all the West Slope has to offer. Hope to be back again soon!

I loved camping at the Wedding House so I could attend the Peach Festival and explore vineyards with my girlfriends! It’s a beautiful property with good proximity to the vineyards. Donna was a lovely host. Having a porta potty and little wash area set up was so nice. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I had a great time camping on Donna & Bob’s property. We stayed in the grassy area behind their house and it was great. The grass was soft, we had a tree for some shade, and we were right next to the peach orchards. There was a very clean port-o-potty with a hand washing station, water for drinking, and the site was drive to. Donna was more than accommodating and you have to try her scones! Thanks for a great stay, we will be back next year!

The Peach Orchard was a beautiful spot to camp. Our host was amazing and very accommodating. We were new to the area and she gave us great recommendations to check out. 100% will stay there again!

Donna and Bob were very welcoming and accommodating. The port a potty was very clean and well stocked. They also had a hand washing station set up next to it. There was big storm that rolled through and soaked the camp site that I booked. They let me set up my tent in there chapel building. It ended up being very cozy.

Absolutely incredible! Bob and Donna are very communicative and understanding. Their house and set up is awesome. There is no light pollution making the stargazing incredible. We plan to come back again and again!

Bob was really communicative and incredibly friendly during my quick overnight visit with my dog, even letting me use the bathroom in the house since it’s April and their portapottee isn’t set up. Such a beautiful property and we loved walking the rows of cherry trees in the morning. It was pretty quiet throughout the night except for random dogs barking in the distance like once an hour, but when you’re in a tent with a dog of your own, you notice that more :)

Beautiful property and wonderful hosts. Bob and Donna were very communicative, knowledgeable, and great to meet and chat with. The property is so beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by orchard and vineyard, and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves. The stars at night were incredible! It was the perfect base camp to explore Palisade wine country from! We left the van there and biked to some nearby wineries. You have to order Donna’s scones — so good! 😋 And our pup got some bonus playtime with their pup Lyla that wore them both out. 11 out of 10, we can’t wait to visit again and do more exploring, this will be our go-to spot!

Great spot! Able to drive right to the site. And while other sites are around you still felt pretty private. And I got a scone for the morning!

Had a great stay with Bob and Donna. Very quiet and safe area. Loved the lighting off the Chapel, made it feel very warm and welcoming. Bob and Donna were outstanding and friendly host. Would definitely stay here again.

Feels like you’re in another little place entirely, pastoral landscapes surround the cozy spot with a lovely multi-use chapel/eating area, nice fire pit and warmly lit drive/parking spots. Nice flat camping spots, friendly hosts and beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards and orchards, the nearby foothills and the amazing vistas of the Book Cliffs and Colorado National Monument in the distance. If you’re tenting you’ll need to work out somewhere else to set up a shower but the clean porta-potty and easy access to clean water are very welcome.

A lovely spot to camp right between two orchards on a beautiful grass lawn. The location is peaceful, quiet, and so relaxing. They provide a Porta potti which is very clean. We have stayed here twice and will be back.

This was my second trip there and I can’t recommend it enough! Bob and Donna are amazing hosts. It was great to meet their new puppy lilah who had a blast playing with our dog sukah. Super quiet and peaceful spot and very close to palisades.

We had a fantastic time at this location. The campsites are on a nice open green lawn with plenty of room for kids to play. Bob and Donna were very responsive and helped us with parking our trailer upon arrival. Would recommend to anyone coming to Palisade!

We camped in our tear drop camper, and we're the only one there. The site is beautiful in the middle of the Peach orchards and vineyards. Bob and Donna were very responsive, and gave great recommendations for wine tasting too! It was a quiet, peaceful, beautiful location

Great spot for a weekend in Palisade! Bob and Donna were great hosts; area was quiet and beautiful. Great bike ride from camp to the wineries. Would definitely they stay here again!

This is a great location for a quick overnight stay on our way to Zion. Donna was quickly and easily accessible via text. The hand wash station outside of the porta potty was greatly appreciated! Our little dog loved the grass area to hang out in.

A gorgeous property located close to Palisade and close to downtown Grand Junction. The location was very quiet and comfortable. One morning there were workers in the field next to our camping picking peaches which still was not very loud and was fun to watch. Our host communicated very well and meet us when we arrived to help us get settled. The toilet was clean, with hand washing supplies right next to it. We camped on a beautiful glass lawn which would have been perfect (soft and flat) for a tent with some shade available. We took our trailer which we pulled right up on the lawn. We will certainly go again if its available!

We've had the best experience imaginable staying at this charming property. Located 10 minutes to Palisade's downtown with great breakfast and lunch spots, bike rentals, galleries and restaurants. The property is very clean and well maintained. It has different picturesque areas, photo zones and awesome rustic landscaping, chapel, fire pit area. Our camping spot was spacious and had a great view of their orchard and vineyard. Donna is the sweetest host, friendly and helpful. We had a great time using Hipcamp for the first time!

We absolutely love Palisade by Moonlight. This was our second stay at the site. We plan to come again! The sites are spacious with awesome views of peach orchards, vineyards, and the starry night sky. Bob and Donna are great hosts and are working hard to make the venue even more amazing.

Beautiful grassy site right next to the orchard! Donna and Bob were very welcoming and responsive. Their clear directions and instructions made it very easy for us to know what to expect. Would definitely stay here again!
