In the summer, the park features large pens at the back of the property where pheasants are raised, providing a fascinating sight as they grow and are released in the fall. For rock collectors, Painted Rock Park boasts stunning rocky hills and dry riverbeds, making it an ideal spot for exploration with family and pets. As the sun sets, you can unwind outside, enjoying breathtaking views while grilling dinner and later stargazing under the expansive night sky. Conveniently located just 5 miles south of Stratton, Colorado, on the Eastern Plains, Painted Rock Park offers 28 campsites, including 3 pull-thru sites near the clubhouse. Each site is equipped with 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections. Guests can also take advantage of laundry facilities and vending machines located on the south side of the clubhouse, along with two small dog runs for your furry companions. On the north side
