Enjoy camping simplicity at it's finest with use of the wood fired Barrel Sauna, Cold Plunge and Fireside area. Beautiful Mountain Views are all around. There are 3 public hot springs within a 20 minute drive and plenty of hiking trails. The Sand Dunes National Park is 60 miles away. Many restaurants, rafting, wakeboarding & entertainment venues can be found in the nearby town of Salida 35 miles away. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING.Mountain views abound all around! This is a fun, healing and unique space to make some great memories. A small enclave of the 40 acre property is equipped with a wood fired barrel sauna, cold plunge, fireside area and space to do yoga in the sun! The San Luis Valley is loved by stargazers as shooting stars and many other types of sightings are frequent! NO HOOKUPS AVAILABLE. There is no access to electric, water or internet. There is no shade coverage. PACK IN & PACK OUT Do not use the property trash cans. Take your own trash, unwanted food, all items. *Guest will be charged if trash, animal feces, items requiring disposal or shipping back to you are left on site. There is currently no shower on site. Joyful Journey's hot springs (7 min away) has showers available with a day pass. Porta potty is on site. NO ACCESS to water or electric hookups is available. FIRE DANGER is high risk at all times so no fires at all, this includes charcoal and propane grills. The chimeneas are not to be used for cooking. WIND SPEEDS can be high with strong gust. Tie items down, don't loose trash to the wind please. WILD ANIMALS- coyotes, owls and wolves are reported to roam this area. Snakes are not.
