The property itself was beautiful, nestled in a serene setting that truly allows you to connect with nature. However, I found the description of the cabin a bit misleading. The listing didn’t specify that it was a single-room space, and the photos made it seem like there was more room—possibly a loft or at least a more spacious layout.
One of the biggest surprises was the refrigerator situation. The description mentioned that a fridge/freezer would be available during the summer months, with only an outdoor cooler in winter. Unfortunately, we had a cooler during our stay, even though it wasn’t winter.
Another issue was the bathroom situation. The flushing toilet was out of service, and we were given a portable toilet instead. However, this toilet was awkwardly placed in a glass shower stall without any privacy curtain, meaning everyone in the cabin had a clear view. The outdoor solar shower also lacked a privacy curtain, which was disappointing.
The indoor stove for heat was also problematic. Despite following the instructions and setting the lever to the left, the stove filled the room with smoke, making it uncomfortable to use.
Overall, while the cabin’s location and setting are lovely, I think the owner should be more upfront and specific about the amenities. This cabin might be great for couples, but I wouldn’t recommend it for friends or anyone seeking a bit more privacy when it comes to bathroom and shower facilities.
