Directions were a little hard to follow because there wasn’t any signs. But overall enjoyed my stay there it’s a beautiful property

Madeline's property was so tranquil and just a short drive into town. With views of Pikes Peak and plenty of space to spread out. We discovered we were a bit larger than the recommended RV length, but Madeline and her Mom were so accommodating! The property is peaceful and we could let our dogs off leash, which is a plus. Especially for our furry full-time travelers to stretch their legs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Amazing location. Right down the road from main Colorado springs. Very quiet location with a much needed separation from society. Used a 2WD vehicle on the appaloosa site. Definitely check ahead if the conditions would allow for easy accessibility. Thank you Madeline for the horse tour. My wife was absolutely enthralled!

Very minimal site. As advertised no water and you bring your own toilet. Which was fine as that was in the description. A nice quiet place to stay. Only issue was finding the spot I had rented. There is no signage at the entrance and the only way to tell where to camp is assuming the mowed areas are it.

We, along with 2 friends booked all 3 RV sites at Little Creek and after night 1 we booked a second night. It was the perfect spot to camp for a few nights away from crowded camp grounds! Madeline was friendly and answered questions quickly! We did do a lap around the property first because I wasn’t sure we were in the right place but we figured it out! :)

We loved the quiet and peace while camping in our trailer on Madeline's land.
The views of Pike's Peak and the mountains were very pretty... we were the only campers there for the 2nd and third nights of our stay!... We were only 30 minutes away from Garden of the Gods, which was our destination.... easy to get to from this site. We loved this site. ...Madeline was a responsive host -easy to connect with when we had questions.

As advertised, this is a simple campsite well suited for self-contained campers. Quiet and peaceful with just enough sound to not feel isolated. Just north of Colorado Springs and about 40 minutes from the south suburbs of Denver, great location for travelers.

We had a group of us and were able to find a nice open flat spot together. The one main thing we wish is the feild to have been mowed to reduce risk of snakes with the kids.

The company was the good thing about this trip and we brought that with us. The whole property was NOT mowed, which made it feel very unsafe. We did not know where to drive/camp upon arrival mainly because you can’t see the road leading into the property. There are no signs showing where any designated parking or camping is . Your view is of other peoples houses on the hills surrounding you and a nice view of pikes peak. When we got to the property and realized this is where we were camping, a few of us chuckled out loud at the irony. It is a very beautiful property if you lived there but if you are looking for a camping experience, this isn’t it. I would be terrified to take a larger camper here. There is not a lot of space to turn around unless you’re on the south side of the old horse track, and even then, there is old farm equipment just kinda sitting there in the widest spot to make a turn. If you continue to follow the track towards the exit as the same direction as you came in, you’ll find yourself trying to make a hairpin turn with your camper to try and get out of the property. The property is not marked well for being a camping area, not maintained at all (the road you drive in on to find a place to camp) the grass in the camping area and the driving area was the same height so no discernment between where you camp or park. We will definitely not stay here again and will be joking about this trip for a lifetime

Tent camping for a night at Dapple Gray was exactly what we were looking for. It was a nice overnight stay coming down from Denver as we were looking to get to CO Springs early morning to see the hot air balloons. At a short 30 min drive from here to Springs, it was the perfect waypoint.

Absolutely loved the horses around us! Plenty of level spots. Overall quiet during the daytime, a bit of traffic noise from the highway during the night, but manageable. Was a bit rainy on our trip but plenty of grass so no mud issues at all.

Since it was raining we did not get to see the wonderful view of Pike’s Peak until morning! It was a nice surprise! Nice little ranch! Was just what we needed as we are roadtripping through CO. Would recommend this place to anyone else doing the same!
