My sister and I had so much fun camping here and will definitely be back! The hosts are darling and so helpful, views and amenities are beautiful, and we had no complaints. We felt extremely safe as two young girls as well- there was an overnight manager on the scene in case of emergencies:) thank you!!

What a great place to stay! The campsite I stayed at was super private, yet easy walking distance to the (clean and functional) bathrooms, showers, and incredibly well-stocked kitchen area. The views are beautiful, sitting at the base of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was a perfect place to stay and very close to Zapata Falls and other great hiking spots. The hostess was super friendly, too. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful, private and serene Hipcamp.

This was by far the most welcoming campsite I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, Dexter, Bella, and Sarah greeted us with kindness and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Camp Dune is absolutely beautiful, and what really stood out was how much the hosts genuinely cared about our experience. The community bonfire, the warm hospitality, and the unforgettable sunrise and sunset views made this stay one of a kind. DEFINITELY recommend 😊

WOW! We loved camping on this wonderful land. What a magical place. We really had a great experience, and the campfire with s'mores was really great, too. There were some sandboards for rent, which saved us a lot of trouble, too! It was windy when we arrived and we had a bit of advice about how we could make sure our tent was sturdy! Also! WOW! GREAT HOSTS!!!

Bella and Dexter were fantastic hosts! Very nice piece of property with lots of spots that you can camp or park your RV, or go for one of the awesome Safari tents. There's nothing like taking a sunrise shower where you can watch the sun rise over the mountains. The highlight was definitely sitting around the campfire with strangers and having good stories and connecting with people.

Great place to stay - close to the sand dunes, Zapata falls, and the hot springs! We pitched our own tents which got a little sketchy with the wind at times but had a nice grove to tent and have a fire. Prepare to get dusty as the dirt (sand?) is very fine! Sarah greeted us and showed us around the site. She was very kind and responded quickly to texts. Bathrooms were very clean, the outdoor shower was amazing, and the hammocks were magical. Overall the kids said this was the best camping trip they’ve taken this summer!

Such a welcoming and unique experience! Camp has everything you’d need. Hosts are gracious and friendly. The common areas were fantastic and never did we feel we were overlapping with people or in one another’s way. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this tent site! The views were nothing short of spectacular. At night, the sky lit up with stars like you wouldn’t believe. The campsite itself was super spacious and private—we couldn’t see any of the other campers, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. Perfect spot for anyone looking to unplug and soak in some serious natural beauty.

Camp Dune was amazing! The hosts were nice and communicated well before and during our stay. The facilites and sites were clean and the camp had great amenities (cantina area with cooking supplies, communal fire pit and hammocks). Our dogs loved being off leash and we loved star gazing! We will definitely be back!

Had a great time at Camp Dune. Sarah and the other camp hosts were incredibly accommodating the facilities were clean. Campsites are incredible, great privacy and all around great experience we will be returning.

The host, Sarah, was very nice! And loved the stars at night. ✨ The listing made me believe that our campsite had amenities, which is the only reason I booked and paid so much; however, they’re shared communities with quite a walk to them. The campsite itself had no amenities, not even a picnic table. If you go definitely want to bring some sort of shade or umbrella.

AMAZING LOCATION! Definitely stay here! Owners were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Bathroom was exquisite. (don't usually say that about a bathroom, but it was true). THE SKY was incredible. We could see a beautiful sunset and a beautiful sunrise from our camping spot. We have never seen such amazing skies, but we could see so many stars and the Milky Way! Best part of our trip.

I cant really say enough wonderful things about Bella and Dexter and this incredible space they are offering to people to experience. I stayed for one night and ended up breaking down and they went above and beyond to help me out. The landscape has a certain magic to it. I'll never forget watching sunsets from the hammocks, the milkyway at night, the bonefires making smores with everyone at the camp. Showering outside under a full moon was otherworldly. As a single female traveler I didnt just felt safe, I felt like I was with family. Of all the places I have stayed in two years traveling alone, this was my favorite. DONT HESITATE - book it now. The memories of this place will be etched on your heart forever. To Bella and Dexter, thank you for being incredible, hospitable, kind-hearted, wonderful people. I will miss you!

Fantastic camp site! I camped out in the meadows and got to pick my own spot! The hosts were amazing! They showed us all of the amenities and how they worked. They do a nightly campfire and drinks. I would absolutely stay here again! Plus the views are incredible

We had a great time at the Dunes! The camp hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the amenities were great and the nightly bonfires were a fun opportunity to meet our fellow travelers and learn more about the area. 5/5 would book again.

Land and area was clean, and camp ground very spaced out! Bathrooms were very nice! The hosts are fantastic, friendly, and accommodating. Make sure you bring an awning to keep the sun off you and your goods.

When this camp gets established it is going to be AMAZING. The bathroom and showers are awesome. It will be challenging keeping the kitchen clean with all the sand, but the concept is very good. We had the whole campground to ourselves and the stars were breathtaking. Would absolutely go again. Best wishes to the new owners. A wonderful and ambitious process is ahead of you.

AMAZING!!! The views were too notch, total privacy, and the host was AWESOME!!! Super communication, very flexible, did a great job of showing us around. The camp area itself was gorgeous, the view of the dunes, mountains, and valley were epic. Highly recommended!
