I love this place! Absolutely peaceful and all to yourself. The place is spacious and has comfy bed. Although I hit my head 😆. My favorite spot was the secluded swing, drinking morning tea and basking in the sun and stars was highlights of my trip. The place has little needed essentials such as gas grill with propane, paper towels and cleaning supplies. Although place doesn’t have water, we bought our portable sink. The portable toilet on site was clean. Oh yea, the place has these big windows right in the front with another beautiful view. The kitchen set for 2 sits right in front of window. Although not best weather we still hiked the trail right behind the house. I can say more but Anyone should not second guess on this place. We definitely coming back!

My partner Travis, our dog Fin, and I had an incredible stay at the Bunkhouse in Idaho Springs. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The Bunkhouse was clean and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after our day spent exploring the nearby trails.
The location is ideal for anyone who loves hiking, with numerous trails within walking distance. The host was exceptionally accommodating, providing detailed information that made our stay seamless. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the easy-to-find clean bedding, local maps, and heated outhouse.
This Airbnb truly exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and adventurous getaway!

Had a great trip up at this bunkhouse. Size was pretty good for the location and price. Great access to hiking and Saint Mary’s Glacier. Outhouse was heated and had fridge, microwave, and other good amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views are gorgeous, and it was easy to get to while still feeling secluded. The bunkhouse was spacious and comfortable, the port-a-potty was clean and the space heater in there was much appreciated! Lots of hiking nearby, and the view of the stars here is amazing. Perfect weekend escape, just be sure to bring lots of water with you. Highly recommend!!

Loved the bunkhouse, it's perfect to get some time in the nature and also be comfortable. Location is great, we got to St Mary's glacier as early as we wanted and didn't have to fight for parking. And dinner in Idaho Springs is just 20 minutes away. Jonathan is very friendly, he was quick to respond to any questions I had.

I had a fantastic stay at Jonathan's cabin with my dog. Stayed for about 5 days, and never ran out of nearby trails to explore. Most trailheads nearby are within walking distance, and Jonathan provided plenty of information about nearby hikes.
The cabin is private, and about 15-20 minutes from Idaho Springs, but I only found myself going into town sparingly.
Overall a great stay, with a great host, and I wouldn't hesitate to return!

Beautiful spot with easy access, has everything you need and more as long as you bring your own water. Great communication with the host 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place close enough to Denver or red rocks and also close enough for a lot of the hiking trails in the area.

Jonathan's bunkhouse had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight in the mountains! Directions were very clear and communication was great. Watched a nice sunset over the mountains nearby and hiking to St Mary's Glacier from the bunkhouse only added about a mile of walking round trip!

The bunkhouse is a cool cabin. It's bigger than the pictures make it look. Jonathan is a great guy and cares about how you are doing. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was nice. The only thing I might throw out there is with it being rustic there a few things visually unfinished, but you can't beat the price!

This place was absolutely perfect for us. Jon was tentative and kind. The road to get up to the bunkhouse was an adventure in itself, can’t wait to come back! Would recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure in this beautiful state ❤️

Me and my dog were passing through Colorado on our way home and decided to stay here to avoid the hustle and bustle of Denver and I can't recommend this enough. I was given clear and easy to follow directions to the cabin and made it there no problem. There and some nice trails within a few minute drive, that were great for taking a four legged pal along to. As far as the cabin it was warm and cozy and perfect for what I needed. Outside of the cabin itself I want to highlight our host, who embodies the word in every way. Our original stay was only supposed to be for one night, and as we set out in the morning our car quit on us. After dealing with the nightmare of finding a tow truck who would take our vehicle to Denver we were stuck here with nowhere to go and our host was as accommodating as one could ask, more so than you would ever get most other properties. A few days later we finally were able to get back on the road, but without the help of our host I can't imagine how much more stressful our trip would have been. I can't recommend this property enough!

This small cabin worked well for my family of 4 and 2 dogs. The space heaters are a nice break from the cold weather outside. It's very easy to access from the road. You also have a view of the mountains from the lot outside!

At 10,000 feet, Jonathan's land is a great place to stage hikes without ever getting back in your vehicle. Great views from his lot are just the start, as you can climb to your heart's content and get sweeping vistas. I was there while the aspens were bright yellow...truly stunning. Although I stayed in my RV, there is also a really nice bunkhouse for rent on the property as well. Jonathan was also proactive in his communication and made sure everything was in order.

Our stay here was great! Jonathan was very helpful when arranging our time here. The road going to the campsite is a beautiful mountain road. Once you reach the lot at 10,000 ft, it’s very easy to get into and get settled. We had an electrical hook up for our RV and had no problems. Our host was very accommodating with anything we needed. The Bunkhouse was also very nice inside with anything you could need from heaters to wifi. Nice little spot to hang out with lots of trees around. Several trails very close to the spot. Would definitely stay here again.
