Goats and Alpacas at Falkor Ranch
We had a great weekend at Falkor ranch! It was peaceful, quiet and we woke up to all the friendly goats and alpacas grazing near our tent. Their sweet calm dogs kept watch over us and we felt very protected and safe. The owners gave us a tour and taught us about each group of animals and were kind and considerate of our son with Autism. ❤️❤️❤️

I definitely recommend this place. So peaceful. Tom & Diane made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and so kind. Tom offered us a tarp for the bottom of our tent, we very much appreciate it. We were passing through for work & it was a wonderful break from being on the road for my husband, me, & our 2 year old son. Our son loves the outdoors so he absolutely loved it here. Their alpacas & goats were so sweet, my son would go and say hi to them often. But their dog Titus won our hearts over, he’s so huge and so loving. I really enjoyed spending time with him while we sat on the grass under some tree shade. We had access to a restroom and shower as well as a room that was like a kitchen with a sink where you can wash some dishes if needed. It is shared with other guest, which is not an issue. This is such a lovely place. And I hope to one day come across this one again. Thank you Tom & Diane for everything.

From the moment we arrived at Falkor Ranch, nestled high on the Palmer Divide, it felt like stepping into a peaceful, storybook setting—with sweeping views of Pikes Peak and the Rockies, surrounded by 35 acres of rolling hills under big Colorado skies.
Diane was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and so generous with her time and knowledge. She greeted us with a gracious tour of the ranch: introducing us to friendly alpacas and Nubian goats, explaining their role in weed control, and tips on the greenhouse plants.
The goats and alpacas stole our hearts! Meandering among them and observing their gentle, curious personalities was an absolute delight. We loved waking up to their soft bleats and roving among the pasture—an experience both authentic and memorable.
The ranch offers a perfect balance: secluded enough to feel off-grid, yet only about an hour from Denver. Whether lounging under the stars or watching sunsets across the wide-open skies, the peaceful ambiance was exactly what we needed.
We would definitely recommend staying there and we will definitely come back.

I loved my stay at Diane’s ranch. It’s in a quiet rural location with rolling hills and great views for sunset and sunrise. It was fun to hang out with her goats and alpaca and the farm dogs. The property is well maintained and you can tell Diane and her husband put a lot of care into their ranch.
If you want a family friendly stay with a peaceful atmosphere, this is the camp for you!

This is an amazing place to camp. You are surrounded by nature and have a perfect view of the sunset. Camped at Falkor Ranch with a group of 18 Scouts. We had a chance to pet baby goats and admire the alpacas. We also saw a fox coming out of its den. So peaceful and quaint. Extra bonus being the indoor toilet. We also bought fresh eggs from the Ranch for breakfast that were delicious. We could not have had a better stay. Thank you to Tom and Diane.

Tom and Diane are wonderful hosts. They had us park our camper van near the barn, which contained excellent bathroom, shower and dishwashing facilities. They took time to get us oriented and introduce us to their two kitties and some of their goats in the evening, and in the morning we met the rest of the goats and alpacas. I highly recommend this site.

Wow! This was so much fun! We loved being with the alpacas and goats! Snuggling face to face with them was so special! The directions to get there were clear. The bathroom was very nice! The eggs were delicious. The hosts (Diane and Tom) were so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed watching the sunset and the kid goats playing at the same time. This was close enough to the city (an hour away) that I could see us coming back. But yet out in the country and away from it all. Wonderful!

We stayed a few nights while visiting the grand-kids in Denver. We were in our camper van, so parked right in front of a large barn, with easy access to electrical hookup and the bathroom/shower (a real plus!). A nicer site in the pasture and among trees was available for those who have a tent. Goats and alpacas were just a gate away and we did enjoy their company. The real highlight were the hosts Diane and Tom. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready and willing to feed us little tidbits about the animals and life on the ranch. An enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the personal interaction with Diane and her husband, Tom. Exploring the property and taking a morning walk with the goats and alpacas was just what we needed to fully relax after 3- months of travel across the country. The restroom and shower was very clean and conveniently located as was the facility to wash dishes and access drinking water. Anyone traveling with children would especially enjoy a stay here.

Took the grandson here for his first camp experience. We parked by the barn and had access to a very clean and well stocked bathroom and shower. We were next to the goats and alpacas for some random bleeds in the evening and friendly animals greeting us when we woke. The hosts were attentive and responsive without being overbearing and overall the experience was wonderful and educational.

Sunsets and sunrises were amazing. Goats and alpacas were fun to watch. One alpaca did zoomies and I really enjoyed watching Thunder the alpaca. He was a character. The tent site was on top of a hill. The shower and bathroom were just down the hill in the barn, very convenient. We were in a major lightning and thunderstorm and Diane and Tom made room for a car in the barn, so we were safe.

If you're looking for a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the busy noisy highways, Diane & Tom's RVing with Alpacas & Goats is the place. I was enchanted by the reception I received. Diane & Tom made sure I was securely situated before they took me to introduce me to the lady Llamas and the lady goats. The boys were all foraging in the fields and as I had an early departure in the morning I missed meeting the boys. This has to be a must for visiting whether in an RV or tenting it on the hillsides. Diane and Tom are so lovely and generous. The bathroom and kitchen area were lovely and so welcoming, I felt like I was at home. I'll be visiting if I get out this way again.

What a relaxing and fun camping experience- the property is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. But the best part of our stay was chatting with the very kind Diane and getting to spend time with the goats and wonderful alpacas. We learned so much and all had a blast connecting with these personable and fun animals.
The bathroom in the barn is a little walk away from the campsite and is perfectly clean, so appreciated! A cherry on top of our visit was waking up to alpacas grazing near our tent. We will definitely be back as it is the perfect distance from Denver for a quick getaway in a place we felt safe and very welcome.
