We arrived late at night since our departure was delayed, but the place was easy to find. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to Cripple Creek, where you’ll find casinos, museums, and family-friendly activities.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The loft-style second floor had two beds on each side, hot water worked perfectly, and there was a convenient barbecue setup right in front of the house.
We loved waking up to the sound of birds in the morning, watching the sunrise through the window, and enjoying tea time on the chairs out front—it was truly relaxing.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay with a kind host and a fantastic place.

What a beautiful spot! The drive out to the cabin was so beautiful, and honestly a hidden gem of Colorado. We ended up going to see Rita the troll which is about 20 to 30 minute drive, and did a hike to get to the paradise cove / Guffey gorge which was beautiful. it gets a bit hot in the sleeping area up above the kitchen if you use the oven since heat rises but there is a box fan, a porta-poddie and potable drinking water. Their dog Nash was the sweetest thing and we even got to see some wildlife! The main house was a bit closer than we expected based on pictures but we enjoyed every moment of the trip! Thank you Olga for your hospitality!

Beautiful mountain views, Clean spacious cabin, Friendly host. Spent 5 days there and enjoyed the numerous trails near by. Definitely will go back again.

We loved everything about the cabin! It is so beautiful! I loved the plethora of hummingbirds! My kids and I really enjoyed exploring their land and it was a great place for all the surrounding areas like Cripple Creek or Victor! We will definitely be coming back for our next glamping adventure! Thank you Olga and Jim!

This cute cabin in the middle of nowhere was beautiful. We truly enjoyed most of our time here and have memories for a lifetime. We were visiting during a heatwave and orange/red flag. It was very hot. The cabin would very much so benefit from some form of a/c to increase value and comfort. If not and option, another box fan to create a cross breeze would work well. I personally would add a couple of small folding chairs, a roll of paper towels and a box of tissues. The porta potty was our joke the entire time. We always dreaded going poo 😅 we expected it to be less used and cleaned recently. I would personally pay more to have a clean outhouse than not. A couple of nice touches I would add would maybe be some games of somesort (we brought our own) and or some books. This was a good visit. Both Jim and Olga are wonderful to talk to and have beautiful souls. Thank you for your kindness and for sharing your cabin. ☺️

We had a great weekend at Asha’s retreat. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the quiet, bird watching and hiking. Olga was very responsive and helpful.

My boys and I had an amazing time, the little cabin was wonderful. The hummingbirds and the lofts made it great. With Guffey Gorge and the Fossil beds nearby we made a weekend trip of it. Would recommend for anyone looking to get away for a few days.

Lovely space for our family with two young kids, 6&2yo. The space was clean, large enough to enjoy and the boys had fun playing with the pet dog. Lots of fun places to explore in the area and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Olga was very responsive with messaging as well. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a great time! This place is amazing. Make sure you check out Paradise Cove/Guffy Gorge! The trail has some rough spots so make sure you wear good gripping shoes.

This was such a great experience for us! It was a great balance of being in nature without completely "roughing it." My teenagers appreciated the quiet and the scenery. We would definitely visit again! We also visited Rita the Rock Planter, and the Florissant Fossils Beds while here.

This little slice of heaven was a perfect weekend getaway! Jim and Olga were so kind and welcoming! Their tiny home had it all.. two loft spaces that slept the four of us comfortably.. and everything you need - just bring your food:) The surrounding area truly is magical with lots to see and explore.. even an incredibly beautiful and easy hike leading to a swimming hole and waterfall only 6 mins away!
We will definitely be back! It is now on my favorites list💜🙏🌟Make sure you check out the lamps and gnome/elf creations.. that are in the home and for sale- I couldn’t resist grabbing a few for myself and loved ones! 🧝♀️💞🧌

Great place to unwind and relax. Clean and quiet, close to many attractions. We had a fun weekend, cooking on the grill and enjoying the outdoors. The owners live close but the cabin feels private. Olga & Jim are excellent hosts and communicators. We would definitely go back.

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and the scenery was practically a miracle. We saw some incredible fossils, cold plunged in Guffey Gorge, and met the same 3 deer who kept frequenting the property to get some water and say hello. We went to see the stars with low light pollution, and it was quiet and peaceful the whole time we were there. We didn't have any run ins with mice, and it felt well cared for.
The wood burning oven wasn't operational when we were there which isn't the end of the world since there were multiple options for gas stoves (the sink was so big!).
The trip was exactly what we needed. To know in advance about the stove is the only thing we would've changed.

Olga was super hospitable and lovely to meet. The property was beautiful and the cabin was a treasure. It truly was a wonderful experience. Tip: bring your own coffee; they have a coffee maker but no ground coffee, only instant. Bring creamer and sugar as well. What a nice weekend! Thanks Olga!

We used Asha's Retreat as our basecamp for hiking and sightseeing in the Cripple Creek area, home to gorgeous countryside and wild burros on the streets. The cabin was so cute and warm on the cold nights we were there, and we loved seeing four deer from the front porch. An easy in-and-out stay from the Denver area.

I lived staying at Olga's! Her small cabin was delightful and well decorated. It was very spacious! Great views and lots of outdoor activities nearbyake for a great getaway spot

Stayed at Asha's Retreat for a weekend. Overall had a good stay but there were a couple things that could be improved. The area is beautiful with some great views of nearby mountains. The nearby swimming hole, Paradise Cove, is definitely worth checking out for a quick hike and swim. In the cabin, there is a full kitchen including a mini fridge, oven, stove, sink, and microwave; however, there were no pans for the oven, so if you plan on baking make sure to bring something. There are plenty of plates, cups, and silverware. There were some random spices but if you plan on cooking something I'd recommend bringing your own, plus anything like oil and foil that you might need. As advertised, there is no toilet in the cabin but there is a porta potty outside. The water pumps (used by the sinks and shower) are very loud when used which makes it a bit inconvenient to use them while anyone is sleeping. The WiFi rarely worked for us which was fine we appreciated the chance to disconnect. There is a DVD player and a handful of DVDs if you end up with some downtime and want to watch a movie. There's no AC but it cools off pretty quickly once the sun goes down and with all of the windows open. We were lucky to have Maya, the dog, come pay us a visit at one point. She was very sweet.

The drive out to the property is absolutely breathtaking. The camp is much bigger than it seems from pictures which was very nice. The weather was great even though it rained at night the rain was so soothing to listen to as we fell asleep. I would definitely stay here again. Olga is also writing a book that I’m looking forward to reading. Overall 100/10 place to stay.

We had a great time with our four and seven year old. There was a lot of room for us to play baseball for hours on end. We roasted marshmallows and hotdogs in the outdoor fireplace. At night, we settled down with a movie after a day of exploring. The kids loved climbing up to their loft beds. We spent a lot of great family time together. When our four-year-old got home, he cried because he wanted to go back. Jim and Olga were great hosts. We definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic retreat. We were my two grade-school aged kids and myself. It was quiet, private, and beautiful. Also very close to paradise cove, which we loved. Our hosts were kind and attentive, and provided most things we needed. Our favorite part was the hummingbirds! I recommend bringing trash bags, a lighter, and paper towels - things we forgot. There is a general store nearby.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Location was amazing right between Cripple Creek and Eleven Mile. Cant forget about the humming birds we must have sat on the porch for three hours watching them. Great Place! Cant wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our time at Asha's Retreat. We had absolutely everything we needed and slept so well there. We were greeted each morning by deer, feisty hummingbirds and their sweet dog, Maya. What a treat to be in such beautiful surroundings.
