Great stay for the value! The extra amenities such as a coffee pot, toaster, and hot plate were much appreciated. The outhouse was clean and in good order. Ultimately, Allyson was a very kind and generous host. Proximity to the highway caused things to get a little loud when semi's passed by, but otherwise the neighborhood was tranquil and quiet.

Allyson was super nice and responsive! It was pretty much a full site the night I stayed. She made a fire for us to enjoy and her little dog was adorable. A little pricey for what you get and the street noise and gas station lights next door were a little annoying but overall a good stay!! About 30 min from the Hiouchi visitor center if you're coming for the Redwoods and 5 min drive to the beach

Reasonably priced for the area. Allyson is very nice. It is perfect as a place for dogs because the entire area is fenced and then the site specific for camping is also fenced. The only downside is the traffic noice.

Very easy to find, very chill. Lived the hammock and the campfire set up. My dog loved playing with the dogs on the property, very friendly and sweet 😄

The host was great and welcomed us to our site and provided us with the rundown. As far as previous reviews, this isn’t a state campground, nor is it your upscale glamping. This place is like staying in your mothers yard in a free spirited and good intentions environment. The only downside is being next to the hwy, granted, it’s a great location and if you bring ear plugs it wont be a problem.

Great spot to stay at!

Allison is a fabulous host! I stayed in the G2 “glamping” spot! It was so perfect for what I needed. Covered as it poured rain while I was there! There was a coffee pot, hot plate, toaster. Chairs and table. Allison has made all the improvements herself on the site. It is close to the 101 but gated and secluded just the same and after a day or two You don’t even notice the traffic. I am coming back Next month. Thank you for a great spot and I look forward to my Next stay!

Allyson was so accommodating! her rules and expectations were clear and simple to follow. She gave us free wood to use for the fire pit and even helped us start a fire!! we were nice and cozy after that. A plus is that her property was easy to get to and also very conveniently located by a gas station!

Redwoods Room

Had a wonderful time meeting Allyson and Kenyi! My stay was more than comfortable and I enjoyed chatting with the friendly host. I had the place to myself and got a burger at the country bar and grill down the road. My stay was short but peaceful. Would definitely visit again.

Host has great hostility and let us use her indoor bathroom. Cute German shepherd. Unfortunately, the campsite is very close to the road and you are sleeping on a hill. Trump 2024 sign in front yard.

Dog-welcoming

This property is small and welcoming. It’s set up to host many people at one time, but we were alone (cold weeknight in October!) Allyson was very friendly and waited up for our arrival. We opted for breakfast, and since no one was around she upgraded us to the “glamping” site with a coffee maker, toaster, and hot plate. Very well-stocked and more like a B&B than camping. The gate to this site is very high above the ground - I tried to close our dog in and he immediately followed me out. The front yard, however, is well-fenced and even has some toys for dogs to play with. Our dog had a great time while we broke down camp.

Perfect place

It was perfect for us because we only needed a place to sleep in our van. The carport was clean and loaded with coffee and creamer, toaster, electric burner, lights, coffee maker, restroom near by, running water, dog friendly, and peaceful.

Overall the experience was fine. There was a multiple areas of dog poop throughout the property. As well as the quiet hours weren’t in forced so there was people being loud around the fire until 2 am.

No Privacy, Noisy, Tiny and Cramped

Hipcamp Glamping G1

If you are looking to go camping in order to get away from the noise and bustle of the city and enjoy a little privacy out in nature, this is decidedly NOT the place for you. If, however, you are merely looking for a place to crash for a few hours before driving on, and there is no where else that will take you and your dog, then give it a go, I guess. The dust and gravel floor garage, on a property directly off a busy highway, is barely usable, as only about ten square feet are covered with mats. If you put up a tent you will have barely a couple of feet to move around it and make meals or hang out. While it protects you from any rain, there are incredibly loud cars and trucks driving by all night, and if you are unlucky enough that someone is staying in the garage next to you, you may be subjected to the sound of someone opening and closing their car doors every 30 seconds for an hour at 10:30 at night. Or if you want to enjoy a nice cookout by the fire, you will have a lovely view of the gas station next door. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I wasn’t able to make plans and reservations until very last minute, and picked this place because there weren’t a lot of other options. As soon as I got here, I was trying to get back online to look for other options. We ended up staying, but were rather miserable when on the property and couldn’t have been more excited when it was time to pack up and move on to our next location.

We loved Allyson’s camp2. It was quiete. We also had some visitors (family of birdies. I think they were brown creepers) my kids enjoyed the feeding times and they woke you up to their singing. Allyson is very pleasant, We will definitely be back. We need more time because we were exhausted every evening from all the hikes we tried to do in so little time.

Cozy and convenient! Great location central to lots and lots to do and see. It is located right on the 101 so don’t expect the tranquility of a secluded campsite. Fabulous place to have your four legged friends with you.

Hipcamp Glamping G1

The campsite was disappointing for us. The porta potty was smelly and the odor lingered outside up to the fire pit as well. The property is right on the highway and the noise from the nearby highway was constant. When we asked the host if the traffic would lessen at night, she sarcastically replied "Do you want me to stop it for you?"

The location is convenient to the parks, trails and sites. It felt safe and secure. The shared yard for the tents doesn't lend much space between campers and was very dry. I travel in a van, with my pups so I had my own space- so that was great. I was expecting a nicer property for the price, but I think you're paying for location and not aesthetics or charm. The place felt a bit rundown to me. It's directly on the 101, so traffic was pretty noisy until late in the evening.

Great Location!! Felt safe and comfortable, so did my dog, just staying in a van so had my own space. Tent sites were all together so I wouldn’t have liked that, but there was a nice little spot for my dog to play and fire pits. I was happy with it.

Quirky spacious spot!

It was a great little quirky spot! Great bang for the buck and the location is prime to explore all the parks nearby! It was perfect for us because we really were only around in the evening to sit by the fire and sleep. If you’re looking to hang out at a campsite I would try to get one in the parks, but this was our perfect place! The host is super sweet and interactive which was great.

I enjoyed camping at Allyson's place. It is close to the ocean, close to the Redwoods, and close to the Klamath River. All that we needed was offered on-site. It was easy to find it and communication with Allyson was excellent. We had a great time staying at the property. Allyson and her dog were very friendly.
