Meadow Basic Site 2
We had a really nice weekend at Wild Plumas. We stayed in tents in Meadow Basic 2. The site was spacious. It did get pretty sunny in the afternoon, but there were plenty of trees around it to move under. My biggest recommendation is to bring a table, as there was no picnic table on the campsite. It was close enough to a porta potty, water spigot and outdoor shower, but not *too* close. I do wish that the trails were a little more clearly outlined. Iām directionally challenged and managed to get turned around while visiting the facilities in the middle of the night. The creek was beautiful and the perfect temperature for wading in on a warm day, and the shared propane firepit near our campsite was perfect for toasting marshmallows.

Very nice and serene Hipcamp.
Great to wake up under the birds and fall asleep with a million stars
We were visited by a buck in the late afternoon eating apples from a tree.
Creek is great to dip in.
Bed was comfortable. Camp ground was private and secluded.

We tent camped for two days and loved it. Quiet, well-spaced sites, thoughtful common areas, beautiful creek with areas to sit and enjoy, spacious outdoor shower and well-kept porta potty were some pros. Train comes through at night but we fell right back to sleep. Pretty magical.

Peaceful setting, wolf creek is beautiful and refreshing. Stayed in Lost Sierra, bed is comfy, outdoor shower is amazing. Quiet and relaxing retreat. Eric and Mary Kay are accommodating hosts. Highly recommend. Will be back.

The campsite was just as pictured. Host was amazing. They provide you with almost everything except foormd and plates and utensils. Gave us clean artisan water. Awesome camp site. Will go again

Plumas land is just all around amazing. What I would give to live there year round. So peaceful and quiet and very clean. There is a shower and the best drinking water. We stayed at cottonwood for a week and wanted to stay a couple more days so we got a tent site since we also brought our own tent and had the place to ourselves. Itās always an awesome stay when we go there

This is now my 4th time staying at wild plumas and thatās because itās so beautiful there and you are right with the forest. Cottonwood was great but was hoping wolf creek was open but itās being repaired. The creek was clean and refreshing as usual. Hot in the summertime but we already knew that. Lake Almanor is about 15 minutes down the road. The whole area is so clean and every water spit we stopped at all clear and amazing. Camp host Mary Kay was very nice and friendly and thatās what makes a place. We werenāt bothered by anyone and there were no other people around. The best place hands down. Our go to spot from here on out

It was a picturesque view staying at the Sugar Pine Campsite. Our family made wonderful memories there and we hope to make this a yearly family tradition. Wonderful camp hosts & owners!

Absolutely loved our stay at this glamping site! It was the perfect balance of comfort and nature. The creek running through the property was a highlightāpeaceful, clean, and even had great fishing. I caught a few trout just steps from our tent! Just note I believe itās fly fishing and catch and release water.
It was also a fantastic spot for our 3-year-old. The open space, shallow creek areas, and safe environment made it ideal for exploring and playing without worry. The glamping setup itself was cozy, clean, and well thought outāeverything we needed without giving up the outdoor experience.
The location couldnāt be better. Nestled in Northern California, itās just a short drive to Lake Almanor where we spent the day swimming, fishing, and soaking in the views. There are also some amazing hikes, local eateries, and hidden gems in the area that made the whole trip feel special.
Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature without roughing it. Weāll definitely be back!

Itās a good campsite, we had a lot of fun. The showers have hot water and itās potable, and also it has a soap available that we can use for dishes too. We got water in a camelback to wash ours. The host was supportive with our doubts related to the water and the campsite. It was easy to find our way to there and to follow the map directions inside the campsite. Someone else got our campsite (number 1) but we were relocated to the campsite 4, which we preferred in the end. Thereās a creek in the property, a tree house and we ride the bikes for free too. I needed to charge my cellphone and I asked a guy in the house if I could charge there, and he was very helpful with that. Thereās a railroad nearby with a train that runs during the day and the night, so if you have trouble sleeping be prepared, but it didnāt bother me at all. It was cold during the night in this time of the year, but a nice weather during the day, we even entered the creek. It was a good experience and I would go there again. š

Very private and quiet. We were the only ones there at that time (April) besides the camp director. There is 1 outdoor shower with hot water and 1 spout to haul water from. We had a nice time there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Plumas. The property is large, and the glamping sites are spaciousāperfect for families who enjoy privacy and space for activities. There are many wonders to explore, such as the beautiful creek, tranquil pathway along the creek, beaver dam, biking trails, hiking paths, and the tree house. Our girls had lots of fun. We were also hoping to see the property's bear, Bertha, but had no luckāso that's an excuse to come back again! JJ and Rebecca are extremely responsive and nice.

Lost Sierra
I absolutely loved my visit to Wild Plumas! I stayed at the Lost Sierra after the struggle to choose where I wanted to explore. It was clean, spacious, private and yet a short walk to the restroom and shower. Oh and I loved the outdoor shower!!!! Nice little diamond in the rough of a find and I canāt wait to see this place grow and develop. The hosts are so very nice and keep the place going and the owners Rebecca and JJ have such a wonderful vision that has made this little campground so very unique and special! Oh and the creek is perfectly small, easy and a cool spot to refresh from the heat!

Lost Sierra
We loved how secluded each campsite is. We enjoyed the solitude. The kitchen area was set up so everything is so convenient, the shelves, bear box, table and camp stove that was provided. It rained for most of the weekend, got very cold, the propane fire pit was a big help in staying warm, and we got to roast marshmallows! The tent stayed dry and tent heaters may be offered in the future. The bed was comfy and enjoyed the couch that was in the tent as we looked at the magazines provided. The chairs on site were also very comfy outside the tent, and the camp provides lounge chairs and umbrella at the river so you don't have to carry a lot of gear down. Great place to bring your dogs! The camp host is very helpful. The owners are personable and open to suggestions, as they want to make this the best experience for all who come to enjoy this beautiful area. They are doing a great job!

We love everything about this place! My girls are ages 5-9 and itās our favorite place. Campsites with acres of forest between each so you have privacy and your own space in the forest, dirt roads for biking, the best creek with amazing swimming holes, fantastic sites with hammocks, tree swings, picnic tables, propane fire pits, and of course mattresses in the lovely tents! The new owners are just as amazing as the previous owners, plus they already are adding new features. Oh, canāt forget the treehousee with the zip line! Itās truly our favorite place and itās always a dream to stay here, we come every summer! Highly recommend.

Lost Sierra campsite was great. Propane grill was supplied which was amazing. No bear box to put your food away at night. Very clean and so many activities for the kids. Bring your bikes!
