We had a fantastic time at vinyl vinyards. It was not only beautiful but it had everything we needed. There was only one thing that might have enhanced our stay. Our host let us know in advance that there was a heater in the camper but we couldn't get it to work. Other than that, we really enjoyed it! Would love to go back!

Super friendly and accommodating! Beautiful surroundings! Very unique/niche! The passion the owners have amongst the vineyard, trailers, and animals is contagious! A true reflection of an artists eye. Definitely an experience.

Camping spot was awesome! Super clean, hammocks, weatherproof chairs and outdoor table at site. Quiet and yet not too far away from the town. Bathrooms are maintained & clean. Nicley decorated too. Sunset Hill is a gem

We had a great stay in tent/rv site #8! Beautiful sunset and sunrise over the hills. Clean facilities, including warm showers! Super friendly hosts that were kind enough to let our kids meet the adorable alpacas. Also in such a great location - only minutes to town. Would love to come back to try the airstreams!

I loved tent camping here! You can see all of the stars, the bathrooms are nice, they offered us free food from a catered place when we got there and had the option to buy wine with live music!

We had a wonderful camping experience! Having bathrooms at a site is God sent! They had live music and street tacos with wine for sale when we went! Every person was so welcoming and the town of Paso is not far away with many stores to explore! We even went for a trip to Morrow Bay!

wish we'd booked an airstream

Nice spot amongst the vineyards, very hot when we stayed for one night in July, no hook ups for the RV which we were aware of prior to booking, but no shade from the sun on our spot, and unfortunately the showers weren't working when we stayed. Nice to see Airstream collection, firepit and communal kitchen and bbq facilities, and we enjoyed the sunset / moonrise and stars from the hill, we used this location to visit lower end of Pacific Highway, Ragged Point and seal beach, and then drive on to our next stop near Ojai, probably needed more time to appreciate local area.

beautiful property and hosts were so friendly ❤️ we bought a bottle of their wine and it was great! definitely recommend this place they have awesome trailers to rent out or they have three tent spots next to each other if you want to tent camp which is what we did. 10/10 would stay again!!

First off rolling up to camp after the sun goes down is tricky. There is 1 small sign on Union road but almost impossible to see after dark, I did not see it until leaving the next morning. The camp is simple dirt sites (I stayed in #10) which offer a trash can, table and chairs and plenty of space for a large RV or travel trailer. Shower and bathroom are clean and tidy. I didn’t get a chance to use the shared cooking area but noticed they had a large Blackstone grill with propane, a sink, cornhole boards and plenty of seating. Overall this place is nice but the price is a bit high in my opinion

Wonderful campsite on a vineyard

This was an awesome spot to camp! The property is surrounded by gorgeous rolling vineyards. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from Sunset Hill, a couple feet from our tent site. Great directions and easy to find. Our site had plenty of space for our tent, with chairs and a table already set up. There is a sweet communal area with outdoor kitchen, grill, fire pit, hammocks. The bathrooms had everything you need, including option for indoor or outdoor showers! We loved this place and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great campground, beautiful area! We saw deer, owls, and bunnies. Caught a glorious sunset, roasted smores, and even had a wine tasting. We opted to tent camp, but had a peek inside one of the vintage campers - all around a fun time!

Camped here for a couple of nights and it was great. Toilets were aplenty and showers were a nice luxury. Loved that we had hammocks and a trash bin in our area. Didn't notice any critters or insects coming for a visit at night. We got to see the sunset on the communal "Sunset Hill". My friends and her daughter got to feed the alpacas. Close enough to Paso Robles and trips to Cambria, Hearst Castle and Lake Nacimiento. Didn't plan well for the complementary wine tasting though--no reservations were available when we arrived so make sure to plan ahead!

Awesome Set Up

We had an awesome time at Vinyl Vineyards! The hosts are responsive and friendly. All of the trailers are set up in a circle around the communal outdoor kitchen area. The trailers a little close together so you don't feel totally alone, but everyone was friendly and the amenities are awesome. We had some friends staying at the tent campsite #8 and others in the Holiday Spartan trailer. It was only a 3-4 minute walk between the two. The kitchen was equipped with pans and cooking utensils, but no spices or oils so be sure to bring your own. The bathroom / shower situation is great and stocked with shampoo / conditioner. The outdoor shower felt amazing! Overall, would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay at Vinyl Vinyards! We stayed at a campsite and we loved having the chairs and picnic table on site plus the small walk to the top of the hill offered really great views of the surrounding area. It was very quiet and peaceful when we stayed. We loved having an outdoor shower available with hot water! We drove into town for the evening which was very convenient.

Too pricey for what you get

The property is tranquil and lovely, exactly the pastoral picture you see in photos. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset (view a bit blocked from sites 8–10 as they’re lower down). You truly feel out in nature with miles of fields around. No one else stayed the Fri. night that we did, so we had the place to ourselves. The roads were well maintained and didn’t require 4WD. But the directions and signage were not ideal. We had to pass 2 Vinyl Vineyards clearly signposted entrances before we found the campground turnoff (3rd entrance). It’d help to add more about this in directions or add a sign saying Camping Turnoff Ahead or something like that. We arrived while it was still daylight but our friends got lost in the dark. In my opinion, the bathrooms were not as expected, with Dometic toilets (composting toilets or something?) that you had to pump to let water in and then you could see others’ waste when you flushed it. Clearly the hosts were trying here, but not something I’d ever want to use again. They’re a slight walk from the outer sites. The Adirondack chairs and picnic table at each site was a nice touch. The cooking/bbq area was too far to bother with and not clear how multiple parties would use this. Overall this didn’t meet expectations at this price. I had a better more comfortable time at the state park for $35/night + $8.99 fee vs this HipCamp’s $126 ($121 + $5 service fee) charge. For what you get, the price seemed exorbitant and not worth it to me.

We really enjoyed our two nights at Vinyl Vineyard. Lots of open space with nice views of surrounding country side in Paso Robles. Jeff is a great host and very responsive. His Rose wine is great too!

Solid Spot!

Nice spot! We pitched a tent in site 10. Appreciated the well-maintained dirt/DG roads and pads, the site furniture, ample trashcans, and nice restrooms. Sunset Hill was a beautiful place to take in the golden hour. Our 2 young girls rode bikes throughout the campground and enjoyed looking at the airstream units. I caught 6 deer in the early morning, grazing near the site! Didn’t use the communal kitchen/bbq area, but looked well-equipped. Will definitely look to return and have already recommended it to family who likes to visit the area - especially for the airstream glamping setup.

Our family absolutely loved staying at Vinyl Vineyards! The cleanliness and accommodations were amazing. We particularly enjoyed the grilling and fire pit area. The bathrooms and showers were great and we very much appreciated all the little touches we found around the campground. We will definitely be back!

Such a great little spot!!!! I came with my campervan and my dog and spent just a night but wish I had stayed longer! Site 10 is so nice. It's at the end of the row so looking in one direction is empty and just landscape and views. Neighbors in 9 were close but totally fine and honestly I like saying hi to people so it was perfect. My dog has a short coat so it wasn't an issue but there does seem to be a lot of foxtails on the edges of the roads and sites so just to keep in mind! The bathrooms looked to be a short walk but I was self contained so didn't get to utilize. Nighttime was quiet and calm. Would love to come back! Plug vinyl vineyards into your gps and it's an easy ride into camp.
