I was in town to meet my dad for the first time ever. Afterward, I really needed somewhere safe and quiet to land — a place where I could process everything and ground myself. I didn’t have a big budget, so finding something affordable was important. Then I found Amy’s place. It was affordable, really cute, and exactly what I needed. I kept my phone charged with a battery pack, sat in the moonlit camper, and wrote. It ended up being a really meaningful and grounding experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Amy's place. Everything was spotless, and the directions and check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Amy even left us firewood, which was such a thoughtful touch since we forgot to bring our own. The night sky was absolutely unforgettable, and waking up early to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee was the perfect way to start the day. We'd happily stay here again.

The Sunrise Sanctuary was a perfect weekend getaway! The trailer is cozy and well stocked with basic supplies. The fire pit was a great addition, and a fabulous accompaniment to enjoying the stars at night! Amy is a wonderful and communicative host, I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second visit, and once again it delivered exactly what we were looking for. It’s an ideal escape from the city—peaceful, unhurried, and deeply calming. The night sky was absolutely stunning, with stars so bright it felt like they were falling from the sky. It was a special experience to share this kind of quiet beauty with my 10 years old daughter.
The host clearly takes pride in the property. The trailers and restrooms were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully maintained, which made the stay comfortable and stress-free. That level of care really stands out and makes a big difference, especially when camping with your special one.
One important note for future visitors: be cautious on the unpaved access road. Our car got stuck in loose sand(I think its because we went right after heavy rain), and we were only able to get out thanks to help from neighbor of the property. "Special thanks to Papa Joe!"
When driving in, stick to the firmer, compact-looking sections of the road and avoid areas where sand has built up.
Overall, this is a beautiful, peaceful place and absolutely worth returning to—with just a bit of extra attention when navigating the road in.

A wonderful stay, directions were clear and the trailer with the land was perfect for what I was looking for. Away from town yet a quick drive in, the listing is clear on what to bring and what’s provided, upon arrival there was more than expected! Definitely would book again!

Such a beautiful cosy spot - sunrise was stunning! All as described in the listing, with some handy basics to assist as well.
I brought a lighter sleeping bag with me, for a mid-November evening it was a tad colder than I expected, so would recommend a heavier sleeping bag/heavier duvet. But that’s on me.
Amy was an amazing host and very easy comms :)

We loved our stay at the Sunrise Sanctuary! The location felt private and serene. The listing was very clear about what was provided and when we arrived there was more than expected. Simple things like dish soap, wet wipes for the floors, and even leftover shower water from the last visitors. Cozy, simple, and just what we needed.

This was a great spot sleep at during a road trip, it was nice to have a bathroom and be protected from the wind and rain. Simple and easy, just what we needed! Thanks! Make sure to bring everything you would need if camping, aside from a tent, which is very clearly stated by Amy! :)

It was a pleasant stay at Amy’s camper. Directions were clear and the experience was as described. They had all the amenities i needed for the night. It was a beautiful sunrise and very peaceful. I’m glad I found her property on Hipcamp. She was also quick to respond with any questions I had.

Amazing and cute little spot in Joshua tree! Very cozy and comfortable with a fire pit behind the trailer. Amy was great at communicating and allowed us a little late check out due to weather. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time at this Joshua Tree Hipcamp! The land was perfect for our tent setup — spacious, quiet, and surrounded by that beautiful desert scenery. It felt private and peaceful, which made it such a great escape for the two of us. The host was welcoming and the location made it easy to relax and enjoy the natural beauty all around. We loved every moment here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple, grounding desert getaway!

The camper and property was sooo beautiful. Great communication by the owners, and they left some essentials for me in case I needed anything. Would love to return in the future. Only recommendation is a battery operated fan to use at night- it is so hot in J Tree!

I had such a great time. You’ll love the sun as it sets and so powerful as it rises, the colors blazing into the heart of your memory. Use the solar shower, its such a wonderful experience in the swirling desert winds! Go for a walk, listen to the coyotes, bring a meditation and think positive thoughts around a campfire. Generous provisions, and we appreciated the solar light. I would definitely stay here again 👍

Camping area was clean and easy to find! Make sure to bring your own water. Summer days will be a little hot but the night was perfect temperature. It was definitely a nice spot to watch the sunset and gaze at the stars ⭐️
