Riverfront Oasis
Our stay at the River Haven
We had such a wonderful stay at The river haven house! The grounds were beautiful a large sprawling green lawn that sprawls down to the river. There was a little chicken house, nice landscaping and lots of areas to hang out outside. The bedroom set up was different than I expected but that’s because I didn’t read the entire listing! Only one bedroom was off the kitchen/living area and the other bedroom was in the garage and the garage isn’t connected to the house. No complaints about the room itself, but because we have young kids, it made it a little tricky. The garage has been converted into an extra large hang room with ping pong, big flat screen and couches. Our kids loved that room! All in all, a great find!

Riverfront Oasis
A perfect happy ranch home for all
The Oasis is a true hidden gem for the area. It is perfect for families with members with different wants/needs — those that want to camp and connect with the outdoors can sleep comfortably in a spacious, clean, and comfortable bell tent while those with mobility issues/other needs that are not able to spend extended periods of time outdoors can be comfortable and cool inside with everything they need to relax and unwind. In other words, my husband, son, and I could get one last camping trip in for the summer while his elderly grandmother and parents could sleep comfortably on spacious beds and cook delicious meals in the kitchen. We had so much fun walking down to the river and laying around in the hammock and eating at the picnic table. There’s soft grass everywhere and so many happy plants and tall trees that offer excellent shade. We said good morning to the chickens every day and there’s an especially cute fluffy one named Silkie that my son adored. We could cook and eat all together outside abd inside, there are so many useful kitchen accoutrement that came in handy. As a note, there is no dishwasher and the water system takes a little care so be mindful of that and plan accordingly. Music is not permitted outside but you won’t need it! The rushing river & bird sounds and the sound of the wind in the trees were really relaxing. DoorDash and Instacart cover this area too. 10/10 recommend!

Riverfront Oasis
The property was beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. Even though the river rapids were too strong to do any river activities we still enjoyed wading and splashing around in the shallow part, and it makes for such soothing ambient sound at nighttime. Everything about the property was thoughtfully curated and just simply lovely. Would absolutely stay here again.
