This was the perfect place to take a day or two and just relax. The tiny house had just enough kitchen that for a short stay you didn’t need to go out unless you wanted to. It was impressively efficient. I did bring a cooler because I like cold beverages, but the small fridge would be enough for the yogurts and cheese I brought with for my 2 night stay.
I had a nice time playing with the kittens, Caspian the dog, (who dutifully slept on my porch) and exploring the property.
The bed downstairs was very comfortable and it was nice falling asleep to the sounds of nature outside. 10/10 recommend!

We stayed at the Tiny House on our way home from a trip to the Portola area and the Feather River Canyon. The Tiny House, though tiny, has every thing you might need. Couch, desk, sink, stove, frig, bathroom, shower, heater/air conditioner and spacious loft bed. Everything functional and clean. Outdoor table and chairs outside with beautiful patio tree lighting available at night. We found a friendly dog under the front stairs in the morning and a wide variety of chickens to gaze at on the property. All good here.

Really neat little ranch property with 3 cozy abodes to rent. The tiny cabin we stayed in was very clean and thoughtfully designed to maximize the space. It was very hot the weekend we visited so thankful for the AC unit which got our house down to comfortable within seconds! Our kids loved the chickens, sheep, and llama!. Downtown Chico is only 15-20 mins away and Oroville only 20-30, lots of options! Highly recommend!

I originally booked the airstream for a little getaway with my husband and our daughter, but he unfortunately became a bit ill and decided to stay home. At the last minute I decided to still go, taking our 17 month old daughter on our first Mother-Daughter glamping trip. It was the best decision ever!
I asked If we could switch to the Tiny Home w/ a king bed and Carolyn and Julio happily obliged. The space was absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. They even welcomed us with farm fresh eggs and delicious homemade muffins! All of the cute and friendly animals on the property kept my daughter and I thoroughly entertained. We especially loved playing with all the kittens roaming around and we had a blast feeding the chickens.
I loved chatting with Carolyn and Julio and getting to know them a bit. They are such kind and loving people who truly made my daughter and I feel right at home. I am already planning our next visit back!

We stayed in the tiny home that sleeps four (near the main house on the property). There is a fantastic shaded garden patio area for use with the rental. Carolyn and Julio made sure we had a great stay! We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend this place without hesitation.

As much as I’d love to keep this place to myself, I have to echo everyone’s enthusiasm and love for this site.
My partner & I came for a Valentine’s getaway and we stayed in the smaller tiny home. We arrived later in the evening, but directions were easy to follow and the site was well lit with fairy lights which was such a nice touch.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh muffins, eggs from the farm, and a cute little sign. There’s a queen bed at the loft, a full kitchen, and a nice seating area equipped with a TV. It had everything we needed to cook our meals and enjoy mornings in.
A personal bonus: everything was so incredibly clean & I can’t stress this enough! You can definitely tell a lot of care and thought was put into the home to make it as comfortable as possible.
The larger property is beautiful to walk through & it’s what we ended up spending our days doing. There are 3 different sites to stay at on the property - each for different needs and with their own appeals. There are chickens, an alpaca, sheep, cats, and a dog on property & they’re all so friendly!
Carolyn & Julio really made the trip for us - they’re such amazing & accommodating hosts. They gave us the space we needed, but were still easily accessible for any questions we had.
This was my first time ever doing a stay outside of a major city, and this stay made me want to do this again & again. We’ll definitely make this an annual thing! :-)

This place was absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Gorgeous property, fantastic owners, excellent amenities, and a great location, rural enough to feel close to nature but close enough to cities like Chico to enjoy urban delights. Owners were generous, accommodating, and very kind. Plus the animals were very nice.

We bought this stay as a gift for my mom and she was absolutely gushing about it when she got home. She told us about all the beautiful touches, the tea, the flowers, and what a thoughtful and beautiful space the tiny house was. She said she felt steeped in rest the entire time, and loved connecting with the hosts as well. Highly recommend!

My wife & I were looking for a quick weekend getaway to work on some financials & planning for the upcoming year. We wanted it to be quiet, close to Sacramento w/WiFi availability & this checked all our boxes! The drive there was easy & scenic. The owner’s directions were accurate & easy to read for when you arrive on the property.
We stayed in the Acreage Tiny home & boy was it a good choice! It rained 24/7 w/high winds, but the tiny home was a dream to be in. The home is very well built, clean, insulated, kept us warm, cozy, & protected from wind the whole time. The bed was super comfortable, the heater worked like a charm, & the full bathroom had strong hot & cold water. We were able to cook all our meals using the electric hotplate & enjoy our coffee/tea by warming up the water w/the kettle provided. The owners left homemade muffins on our arrival. I had to stop myself from eating them all in one day! Absolutely delicious! Make sure to take them up on the carton of eggs that can be pre-ordered. Unfortunately, since it rained the whole time, we were
unable to explore the property, but what we could see from our tiny home was beautiful! You can tell the owners take pride in their land. The landscaping was clean & immaculate!
The cats plus one dog that roam the property are cute, friendly, & always a joy to run into. Technically this was a business trip for us, but it felt like a vacation & we will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Carolyn and Julio for your hospitality!

We had a lovely stay! The mini fridge was pre-stocked with some fresh eggs and apple crumble muffins (not sure but they were delicious!)
The property is gorgeous and there are cute sheep, a llama, chickens and outdoor cats.
The living space is ample and has all the essentials, plus heating in the chilly winter evenings!

I have never been inside a tiny house before and I loved it! The ranch was so peaceful and lovely, Carolyn and Julio really put so much into this special place. I had a restful weekend, a good reset. Cutest little spot. It definitely lived up to its motto of a restful place. The sunset view was magic and Carolyn and Julio’s attention to detail definitely shows in how meticulous the grounds are kept. We would definitely love to come back someday.

Perfect place to rest and relax. The property has so many special touches that make this place amazing. The tiny house was just what I needed for a weekend away to reset and refresh. Had everything I needed. Host are very thoughtful (eggs, coffee, tea and muffins were a special treat).

We absolutely loved our stay at the ranch, it was just the right amount of peace and relaxation we needed. We were greeted by Caspian, the happy ranch dog, three cats, a few sheep, and an adorable alpaca named Machu Picchu. There were tasty muffins waiting for us in the kitchen (my husband practically inhaled them all they were so good). The space in the tiny house was very clean, neat, and comfortable. If staying in the tiny house, you can cook a small or light meals in the tiny house, as there is a hot plate available - we recommend bringing pre-cooked food or ingredients for simple cooking. Our bed was sooo comfortable, and big. We went on a peaceful walk around the property, and spent time reading and playing card games under the trees in front of the tiny house. There were beautiful views in all directions. We met Julio, one of the owners - a wonderfully kind human. We were able to look into the other white tiny house as it was unoccupied - and we will come back to try that one! Carolyn and Julio have created a peaceful space to have some respite from the busy outside world, we enjoyed taking nice deep breaths there. Thank you so much to you both!

Stayed in the tiny home, and we had a wonderful weekend-stay. The ranch has sheep, an alpaca, chickens, cats, and dog, which were lots of fun. The tiny home had a super little kitchen, and the hosts were helpful, kind, responsive, and even left us fresh eggs and muffins upon our arrival! Looking forward to staying again in the future!

It was a great, relaxing stay. The tiny house was enough room for two people. Water temp and pressure were good. Being greeted by farm fresh eggs + muffins was a nice surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed the animals on the premise, especially Caspian the dog and the chickens! Location was a short drive to our hiking locations. Overall, a fun and unique few days to unwind.

What a little slice of Paradise! Carolyn and Julio were so accommodating and welcoming! The airstream was a dream! So many small details made my stay so much more enjoyable. The fresh baked goodies and farm fresh eggs were just a few of the small details that made this saty so perfect. I would highly recommend any of their little vacation homes to anyone! Friendly animals, beautiful views, and a cozy stay made for a peaceful getaway.

The Tiny House in the Trees was really a place of rest for us. This was our first time visiting Paradise and it really did feel like we escaped to the foothills and immersed ourselves in a wellness and relaxation haven. Julio and Carolyn were both so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the homemade muffins, farm fresh eggs and more importantly, the farm animals. The Tiny House is well done, clean, comfy and had everything we needed to feel at home. We will definitely be back soon!

My daughter and I had an absolutely delightful stay at the White Tiny House. We had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn and Julio, who are generous, thoughtful, and kind. So many thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, delicious homemade muffins, starter supplies of delicious coffee and tea, and the freedom to roam their lovely ranch and meet all of the animals. The tiny house is the perfect setup for two people to enjoy a very comfortable, relaxing stay. The loft bed area was spacious and the bed super-comfy. We woke up to lovely views of the countryside. With the closet doors open, the bathroom and closet area are perfectly set up for a warm shower and cozy dressing area. The kitchen has exactly what you need to prepare simple meals for two and access to fresh herbs from the garden as well! The outdoor seating areas made for idyllic spots to sip a cup of morning coffee while planning the day and the desk was ideal to catch up on emails while trying not to be distracted by the expansive view. You couldn't ask for a cozier end to the day than relaxing in the sitting area with the adorable wood-burning stove while watching a movie or reading. One evening I took a stroll to see the full moon and the outdoor solar lighting provided a magical glow. Carolyn was a font of information about things to do including the Bidwell Mansion, shopping, restaurants, and hiking. One of the many bonuses was the scenic walk right down the road in front of the property. This is a hidden gem!

We found this little gem when planning a trip to Table Mountain superbloom and had a lovely stay. Carolyn and their border collie greeted us warmly. The tiny house was clean comfy warm and supplied with just the essentials we needed. We were supplied with eggs, coffee, and homemade muffins. Thanks Carolyn!

Took my parents to stay in the AirStream and we really enjoyed the stay. The property is on a hill which is honestly the best part. You get views in all directions. The small portable heater kept was really warm as i was worried we might get cold. We sat around the fire at night. It was a propane burner not firewood thought. The host Julio was very friendly and explain all the things we need to know about the airstream. There was a small tv with a built in dvd player. But i found the sound to be decent and watched a movie on my mac instead. The wifi at the moment was not working but not a big deal. There were ton of stores with in 10min drive. We did grocery shopping from save mart and got thai food one day. Walking around the property was fun seeing all the chickens, cats, sheeps and a llama. They also had a very friendly dog too. All in all pretty good trip.

The property was so gorgeous! Both Julio and Carolyn were so kind and welcoming, it was wonderful to be able to share their space. All their animals were sweethearts and so fun to hang out around, definitely a plus for animal lovers like ourselves! I was looking for a local retreat where I could stay for a few days to ground myself prior to my upcoming RN board exam. Julio and Carolyn provided just that. They were friendly, kind, and extremely accommodating. They went to great lengths to ensure I had everything I needed to make my stay both quiet and productive. The bed in the Airstream was SO comfortable and cozy, and enjoying French press coffee with homemade muffins while sitting outside, watching the sun rise over the mountains was the perfect way to start the day. Caspian, the dog, as well as a whole host of friendly cats joined me on my walks around the property. Velasquez Tambo Ranch is a perfect getaway which I highly recommend. I look forward to returning.
