The Tiny Home is actually very spacious for a couple! Sheena was very communicative and ensured we enjoyed every minute of our getaway. If you are into astronomy and have a telescope, this place provides a great opportunity to enjoy the dark sky right in front of the Tiny Home. No need to drive elsewhere, you can enjoy scoping in the privacy of this beautiful place and go to bed when you need to. Thank you for making this short getaway enjoyable!

Comfortable tiny house with all the amenities for a relaxing and fun time away. Sheena was very hospitable and checked in with us before we arrived to make sure we had what we needed and answered questions quickly when needed. Gorgeous views and the starry sky is worth coming out for!

Checkin was weird as the black gate was already open and we couldn't close it. There weren't any arrival instructions so we spent a few minutes outside figuring out the keylock door and also the digital pad. Sheena opened the door remotely somehow so I guess this wasn't really a self check-in experience.
Actual inside, on first glance, was not bad. You could tell the place was old with the wear and tear, but one crazy thing was the space around the toilet. I'm only 5'11 and my knees were up against the walls while sitting on the toilet and it was extremely uncomfortable.
Area was nice and no doubt the view would've been great at night, but we didn't last more than 2 hours in this place. The sheets, blankets, and bed smelled of mold/mildew, and one of the pillowcases actually had black/green mold on it. The blanket also had brown paw prints on it as well. The last cleaner did a horrendous job and there was no quality control. Luckily Sheena was super nice and cooperative about a refund - but the Hipcamp service fee was already paid/nonrefundable and we spent 2 hours driving to even get here and 2 hours to leave.

Great little place. Just what we hoped it would be. Close to Julian but a world away on its own stunning spot. We had everything we needed. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend.

Sheena’s tiny home was the perfect spot for our weekend in Julian. Excellent amenities, a comfy bed, and an amazing view right from the bedroom window. We would absolutely come back again!

Beautiful location with lots of great places to eat and drink locally. Sheena has everything decorated with intention to purpose and to promote a sense of relaxation.
Even though it was snowy, rainy, and windy which prevented us from hiking there was plenty to do and enjoy both in the house and in Julian!

Stargazers Retreat
Really loved our experience at the stargazers retreat! The property is secluded and very private, but easy to navigate to (and really just a few minutes outside of Julian itself.) The tiny house is cozy and has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The view is incredible and we really enjoyed the fire pit and comfy chairs right outside the front door.
Sheena checked in by text to make sure we arrived and got settled in. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this to anyone as a great spot for a quick getaway from the city!

We had a marvelous time. The country road was bursting with fall color as we made our way to the little cabin over looking the salton sea and the san Pasquale valley. It's super cozy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape to Julian!

This place was perfect for our quick get-away. Only a few minutes from town but the property is extremely private and has unbelievable views. With no houses or streets nearby, our dog was safe to run free the entire time we were there. Sheena is very professional and responsive and will ensure you have a great stay. We'll be booking here again!

Very great location, super close to downtown Julian. The house was perfect, and the views for the sunrise we absolutely stunning. We will definitely come back and stay again, Sheena is very responsive and have all the help we needed.
