Nearly four acres close to town and amenities, yet quiet and secluded. Away from any major roads and on quiet nights, the fog horn from the Big River buoy can be heard. Wildlife on the property include piliated woodpeckers, deer, raccoons, jack rabbits, bears (keep your trash and food inside!), mountain lions, foxes, and of course, our resident ravens. Wild huckleberries and rhododendrons are abundant among the redwoods and fir. A beautiful spot to spend the night!

Core memories for a group of 4

Mollys land is an amazing spot, we took a group of 4 out, and had a great time! We showed up super late, but we were still given a proper welcome, the entrance is off to the side a bit so if you pass a red mail box you’ve gone too far, You’ll gently wake up to the native birds, there’s a hardware store by Little Rock 4 mins away from the site with anything you’ll need for camping, fort braggs is a 15 min drive with kayaking, seaside walking trails, and the noyo grill had the best food with a nice view of the ocean, almost everything closes around 5 so make sure to grab anything you need early on! However there are some stores in fort braggs open till a later time. Because of the environment we didn’t deal with too many mosquitoes just some gnats, and a few moths. Also take note that spiders and grass hoppers will appear at night and are not afraid to climb! However This is their home, so if you take bug spray I’d recommend spraying in and around your tent entrance maybe the table but remember to respect the environment! Overall would definitely do this again!

Great time away from the city

Wonderful campsite, would recommend to anyone. Dog friendly, nice fire pit. The patrons were nice enough to recharge my yeti 300. Good privacy. Will return.

Best Hipcamp Ever!!!

We loved our stay at Root's End campsite! The host is very accommodating and helpful. We brought our 25' trailer and had no trouble backing it into the site. There was plenty of room for our daughter to put up her tent as well. The CLEAN pit toilet and the provided firewood were a huge bonus! We were visited by chipmunks, an owl. And a fox! We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

The host, Molly is so sweet and helpful. The Woods Tent site is very cozy and private! The provided firewood and CLEAN pit toilets are a huge bonus! We will definitely be returning!

Woods Tent Site

This was a perfect little site with lots of privacy. We loved the included firewood, the huckleberries, and the beautiful composting toilet. We regretted not booking a second night after showing up to another state campground that was a cacophony of construction and loud campers. This site had a small but very doable walk-in to get to the site, with enough space for two-ish people/adults.

Molly is an excellent host!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to camp due to an unexpected last minute issue back at home. However, Molly was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and communication was excellent when I had to bail out at the last minute.
