This place is located in the plumas national forest. It gives the feeling of lost in the woods with the perfect privacy. It has full hook ups and is very peaceful and there are several lakes around the area to adventure to with beautiful clear water. We definitely will be coming back!!.

The campground was very quiet and in a beautiful tree. This campsite is made up with 60% Full-time RV. They had great wi-fi connection and a great dog park. the camp is about 15 miles from Lake Collins Lake and another small lake.

Great location with easy access to local lakes and rivers. Pamela was great in helping answer a few questions we had. The park is clean, low key, and has everything for a home base when exploring. We’ll be staying there again.

This is the type of place where people pay monthly rent and live in their RVs. If that's not the vibe you're looking for, move along.

We stayed there for 2 nights and had selected RV Site 7. The location of the RV campground is good and is right off the main road. It has all the hook-ups - water, electricity (both 30 amps and 50 amps I think) and sewage. This was our first time RV-ing so we preferred a place with all hookups. The staff is very friendly and the bathrooms were very clean. They close the bathrooms at night - which we didn't know, but they offered to open up for us which was very gracious. There are long term residents on the RV place, so that's something to keep in mind which we didn't know (totally on us we should have researched before)

A tranquil stay in the forest
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time camping at Quail Ridge. Pamela was a very hostpitable and attentive host and gave us so much interesting information about the park and surrounding area. The forest was beautiful and the amenities were satisfactory, we immediately felt at home and had a wonderful time. We would love to come again!

This place was very nice! Staff was friendly and overall had a good time with my family. Less than a 10 minute drive to the lake and the lake was fun to swim in. The place had volleyball nets and badminton equipment we could use. Very fun overall.

We had so much fun! Loved how it wasn't over crowded when we went. It's nice and quiet. I love how they have activities and games for the kids too. There was a porta potty very close to the family campsites. And they also have a restroom with flushing toilets and a shower a short walk from the tent camp site. Pamela was super sweet!! And the maintenance man was also very nice and introduced him self and gave the kids glow sticks. Over all it was a great experience and would love to go back!

The park was very quiet and peaceful.
The price was great for full hookups.
Close to Sly Creek recreation area, where we hiked, picnicked and fished.
The staff were helpful and pleasant.
There are a fair number of long-term, semi permanent residents which may not appeal to some. But everyone we encountered was friendly.

Loved the quiet park. Pamela was a great host and made sure we had plenty of room for us with our RV and friends with a tent to stay next to each other. There's working laundry and bathrooms with showers. There's a new volley ball net and a community grill nearby. Many families and friendly dogs.

The best summary of this place is found on a trailer right at the entrance that says: “This is not a bird sanctuary. I don’t fire a warning shot.” This place is creepy and gross.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Quail Ridge. The staff was very friendly and gave us wonderful recommendations for where to hike in the area. We would definitely return!

Quail Ridge - RV's
Beautifull setting, but not what I expected .
Quill Ridge is a large private tent and RV Campground. This more like a long term retirement community, were everyone sets up their RV site with small stoage sheds and or enclosed patio areas. Therefore all the prime sites are taken and the only one open were in the sun with little shade.
On the positive side the grounds and facilities ( Landry, restrooms and showers) were clean. Also the nightly cost was reasonably.
When I think of Hipcamp, I think of someones small but private property with a site or two on it. Stereo thinking on my part I guess, I should have read more about this camp site.

Spacious site that was relatively quiet. We appreciated the picnic table and grill that was provided. The only downside was a lack of privacy and slightly long walk to the bathrooms for drinking water.

It was a great 1st time camping trip for my two boys 3 year old and 4 years old.
We had breakfast at lost lake and desert at Collins lake😊🙏

The campsite was not what I expected. The pictures on the website were very misleading. It caters mainly to RVs and not tents. Although it was unlike any campsite I've ever been to, the staff was very helpful and catered to our every need. We made the most of it and managed to have a great time.

The website was a bit more beautiful than what we seen. The website didn't go over the fact this was your first time opening up to tent campers. We had a great time but wasn't to sure on how there was only one section of running water and one bathroom near out section also no true campsite or numbers.

Pros: our host Pamela was wonderful. The camp site was close to lakes.
Con: our site had broken glasses everywhere. We had toddlers so that really kept us on the edge even though we did our best to pick up the glass pieces we kept on finding them through out our stay.

The hostess Pamela was so nice to wait up for us past closing to show us to our camp spot. The grounds were clean and quiet. Perfect for a quiet weekend.
There were some permanent residents on site that were friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Had a great time camping at Pamela's hipcamp. The kids loved it, it was safe and there was a ton of space for them to play. There is even a swing set in the woods! We car camped but there was also the option for walk-in style spots nestled in the woods. Potable water and flush toilet made it a more luxurious camping experience than our usual. Pamela gave us the great recommendation of Collins Lake for swimming and day-use which we highly recommend. Pamela was an awesome host!

It was great to stay at Pamela’s campsite! The camps themselves are nearby the showers and amenities but still off to the side to be within the trees.
Was a big plus to be able to take our dog with us. Pamela was very friendly and helpful to get us situated

The area is very clean and organized. Pamela has everything in place, and she is very helpful and familiar with the area and the activities around.
The tent area is comfortable with area for families where we were, and more private areas.
