Perfect 3 day stay. Campsite was private. Grounds were safe. Date trees were prolific. Trails were lit and magical. Facilities had rustic character and were clean. The aquifer that makes this possible in the middle of the desert was amazing. The private spacious hot tubs at each site can be a refreshing cool tub in the middle of the day and propane-heated to a hot tub at night. To sit around the fire was amazing. The tents have AC! Mattresses were very nice. Staff was always friendly responsive and attentive. Jason the co-owner expressed that there would be lots of improvements coming up in terms of furnishings. This was my little dog's first off leash camping trip and she had a whole world to safely explore. I can see this be a great place for a large group or extended family to rent together because it feels like a whimsical maze and also could be a little village of all your favorite people. There is a beautiful cold swimming pool at the main house where the kitchen is. It's a walk from the campsite (maybe 300 meters) and much more fun to cook over the fire in the private sapce of your own so make sure to bring your kitchen and dishwashing gear to set up. In the future I am told there will also be a built outdoor kitchen for several sites to share. This was already a well established site that was worth every penny and it sounds like it's going to get even better as the owner seems passionate about it.

I spent the morning sitting in a tub of mineral water, listening to the wind whooshing through the date palms, and the sound of birds. And I couldn’t hear anything else at all. It was so incredibly peaceful and private and lovely.

Off-season stay with maintenanc

Camper/RV Site

Stayed during off-season and arrived early with host approval. Site had potential but felt underprepared: hot tub was not ready at arrival, and some areas were overgrown with minor safety concerns near the fire pit. I had a few scrapes from vegetation/debris. For $90, it felt a bit expensive for the condition at the time.

Oasis - a little too private

We stayed at the Oasis site this weekend. We had a couple of issues. For example, the power used for the fan or A/C in the tent kept tripping and didn't work at all the last night we were there. Also, one of the plastic adirondack chairs broke and was not replaced during our stay, even though we asked. The location of the site was very private, but I also would have like the palms to have been cut back at the entrance because having to dip under to enter was very annoying. The good things -- the mineral tub was very comfortable and a real saving grace. The bed was quite comfortable and we slept well, other than dealing with the heat.

Beautiful and private. The mineral pool was so relaxing, with the option to heat up more when it cools down outside. The sunset was amazing! Host Ronald was very accommodating.

Private & Quiet Respite

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! It was great to sit out in the private camping area and feel secluded. We soaked in the private tub multiple times a day and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved the swimming pool and our hosts were very kind and communicative. We ordered ramen and it was truly delicious- some of the best ramen I’ve ever had! We loved all of the animals- 3 cats, some roosters, a sweet dog! It was definitely hot out in the tent and the AC couldn’t quite keep up so it’s best to get out and go somewhere during the hottest part of the day. The kitchen ammenities are minimal so plan accordingly.

Hopefully Next Time it All Works

The service was great honestly responsive and very helpful and very accommodative. The unbundled firewood was free which is really great. Awesome place the tub was great during the hot day but there were a couple things wrong/out of place which we were not told about beforehand. One yes there was plumbing but the doors did not work and there was debris and moss in the toilets. Two the shower Did not have a lock and was too afraid to use it. One of The A/C's in our tent was broken and the surge protector would flip if you tried to use both the light and the A/C's at the same time. The tub was great until we found out we could not change the temperature because The water heater was broken on the site we stayed on. So we called to ask how to change the temp of the water and they sent someone out and he had to walk us to another site and fill a new tub with hot water. Once again also not mentioned in the description. There was Two hygienic try-on liners in the room we stayed in one wrapped around the main tent pole and one under the bed. Never saw any dates on the date farm but i'm assuming it was just out of season.

What an amazing oasis in the desert! Our whole family (kids 2 and 4) had an amazing time soaking and relaxing in the pools under the date palm canopy . Ron and Myung are wonderful hosts and if available inquire about the ramen it was beyond amazing ! We had an rv but opted to sleep in the big tent on our site! Amazing times in the desert

Date Night at the Date Farm ;)

We had a great stay at the Date Farm for my husband birthday, what a magical place - we enjoyed privacy, a fire pit and our very own tub of hot spring water! The farm sits on a hot spring aquifer so after you use the water, it drains into the sand and feeds the date palms, any excess seeps back down into the aquifer. Ron was incredibly helpful - thank you Ron for a lovely stay :)

Incredible jewel in the desert

Amazing property and Ron is an incredible host! We had such a fun time at this property, from petting the kitchen cats to dipping in our private mineral bath. We had campsite ten! It was beautifully positioned in such a way that the high winds didn’t bother us at all. Ron came out to our site to show us how to work the mineral bath and get the a/c pumping on the yurt. The following day Laura came by to make sure everything was going well for us. Really extraordinary! An oasis in the desert to be sure!

My friend and I wanted to sleep somewhere in nature while, not too far away, when I was in town and this spot was the best! It was super helpful for us to already have the beds set up instead of bringing sleeping stuff since I was only in town for a little while—cut down on time and packing :) When we arrived, Ron met us and shared info about the common areas and told us how to get to go to our site. We saw a couple other sites and all were comfortably spaced out. Once we were ready, we called him and he let us know how to fill the tub (super simple). The site itself was great—plenty of shade, a table, and a campfire pit. I had a question about the common area pool and Ron was super quick to message back. It was a full(ish?) moon and the sky was super pretty. When we walked to the bathroom at night, you could see mountains in the distance and I really loved the view. When we walked back from the bathroom, we walked near the front gate and I got a little nervous thinking we were locked in (just a silly moment of being scared in a new place). Ron must have seen me on the ring cam and texted me right away saying it’s unlocked and we can leave any time. I felt a little embarrassed but grateful he was so nice and also good to know he’s got an eye on what’s going on. My little pup and I would love to come back someday!

Little Oasis in the Desert!!!

Ron was an amazing host. Very attentive to all our needs and questions. We had our small trailer parked in a very secluded spot with our mineral baths in a little palm tree oasis right next to us. We would highly recommend Mineral Spring Date Farm!!!!

What a cool spot! A little desert oasis! Ron was so helpful at check in and very quick a responding. The hot spring tubs were very easy to use and worked wonders. All the spots her are very secluded from one another. So you feel like you’re in your own private oasis.
