Mineral Spring Date Farm

We loved camping here! My boyfriend and I went for his birthday, and it was such a cozy and lovely experience. The tent was equipped with two beds that were comfortable, and they provided lighting as well. The inside of the tent felt very cozy and inviting. We loved that our site was slightly secluded for the most part, with palm trees covering the entrance. There were 2 springs at our site, a warm one and a hotter one, which felt so nice! We also got the ramen which was so delicious, and came in a nice tray to take back to our tent. The common kitchen area was well equipped and had water, a fridge, a hot plate, and was easily accessible and not a far walk from us. The hosts were very kind and responsive. I also enjoyed the propane heater that was provided with the add on. Joshua tree was not too far of a drive for us either. Overall we loved it and had a wonderful time, it’s such a unique and serene place to be. We would definitely visit again!

Very nice campsite. It was very quiet, secluded, and far enough from the other sites to feel like we were there on our own. The area had everything we needed (showers, nice restroom, communal kitchen utensils) that made it very convenient. Ron was also very nice and helpful the whole time.

If the price to stay here wasn't $160 then it would be fine-but for what the experience is-I think that it was extremely expensive...the hot tub took me 2 hours to fill up enough to get my body half way in...could never fully submerge-the hose is the size of a boba straw-and the worst part was that you can't leave it on and do something else for 2 hours because the water will suddenly go cold...I figured out the fix by turning it off-then on again and the water temp would stay up...so you have to watch it or you will go through all that work and have a cold tub....The tent could be a lot nicer with even just better bedding. I am glad I bought my own because the bedding was gross-again-if it was $60 a night-that would be fine-but $160? The top "comforter" was gross-ugly and tattered looking with stained pillow cases..you can get something that looks better at the thrift store-the tent was patched together and I cut my hand on entrance because there are a million staples holding it together....I get that debris falls on the outside of the tent-but $50 cleaning fee? At least go on the outside and brush off tent with broom so it appears nicer for guests-and get some colorful rugs or something that hides stains-these are cheap fixes-it was just depressing-you definitely wouldn't want to hang in the tent-the outside chairs are gross too-you can get something better at thrift store.. My site wasn't super private-anyone could walk by and see you in tub (and did) careful solo ladies..

Starry Night Mineral Spring

Nice and accomodating staff but the pictures are very old and the place is run down. Needs more upkeep. I have to be honest that I was disappointed initially. The pics look glam but it is far from. Still beautiful of course, I mean, it's Joshua Tree area, and we had a blast but just need to adjust your expectations. Again, staff is very nice.

A Desert Hot Springs Oasis

Ron and Grace were wonderful hosts. Their date farm is a quiet and beautiful little sanctuary. Great for secluded glamping that feels like you're out in a deep desert oasis, but only 20 minutes to all the amenities of Palm Springs. We absolutely loved having a private hot spring fed tub next to the tent to use at night under the stars.

Magic water in a little oasis

This was a positively magical break in a long cross-country trip with my dog. Ron explained the entire process of the lovely water from start to finish. Soaked morning and night...BLISS. We parked in a small grove of trees feet away from our tub. Cool lovely nights with the sound of water burbling and crickets chirping. Just what we needed! The spot was perfect and we loved our time there. Will definitely stay again when going through!

Mineral Springs Date Farm RV Site

Private and quiet, Ron was a super nice host. The mineral springs tub experience was very relaxing, We did not stay in yurts as we had our own camper but those seems well appointed. Be sure to pack a flashlight!

Unique Hot Spring Experience

We absolutely loved this property. Our campsite was fantastic. It was nestled between palm trees, and we had a great campfire set up next to a lovely covered seating area, and our hot spring tub. The communal areas were well thought through, and the bathrooms were nice. Ron was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. We hope to be back soon!

Cozy Glamping Trip!

My partner and I had a great trip at Ron’s date farm. We stayed one night but will definitely be back for more! Ron was very easy to get ahold of ahead of the trip and worked with us to move the trip due to some weather issues. The site itself was a dream, super private complete with a clean and cozy tent and the bathrooms were a quick walk away. The site had 2 areas to use the hot spring-one naturally heated and one with a heater to soak in the tub at 100+ degrees. We tried both and enjoyed the heated tub a bit more but both were lovely. We also ordered ramen for dinner and it was delicious, the perfect thing to enjoy on a chilly night. If you are looking for a cozy romantic glamp trip I highly recommend! 😊

This was a great find. Private and cozy. Very spacious yurt tent with two beds and heater, table n chairs in the tent. Plenty of space. Kept warm in January. Our campsite had a hot tub and in ground mineral springs cool tub. Hammock, bonfire pit, tables n chairs already set up. Felt nice and secluded. Private setting. Definitely would come back again. a slice of wabi sabi heaven

Ron was super responsive and just a cool guy. All the work they put into this camp shows. It is charming, all natural, sustainable, and wabi sabi style. I was so happy no plastic was used with the to go Ramen which was fabulous. The hot tobs were so private, and we could make them any temperature we liked. The water for the pool is straight from the ground, no chlorine! It is so reasonably priced. The views are gorgeous. They care about the environment! It felt so good to give them money. Also the little lights on the bathhouse were so special. I am afraid this place is going to get found out!

I cant recommend this hipcamp more. I am so glad that I stayed here. Each site was very private, and the soaking tub was perfect. You have full control over the temperature, and it can get HOT so be careful! The canvas tent was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The host was very responsive with anything that I needed. Highly recommend!

Private Oasis in the Desert

Starry Night Mineral Spring

My children (14 & 15yr old) came to San Diego from Maryland for winter break and made the trip to Joshua Tree for a day of hiking. We wanted to find a great place to stay nearby and we couldn’t be more happy with our choice. Our experience was incredible. We made sure to arrive before 4:30pm sunset so that we could see our surroundings. Ron met us at the front and showed us to our yurt and how to operate our natural spring tubs. The yurt and 2 beds had plenty of space for the 3 of us. The setting was gorgeous. We were concerned that it would be too cold to use the tubs since it was December and cold out, but the tubs were so hot and kept us warm even after getting out. We bought firewood on site, which was convenient. We also ordered the ramen which was great so that we didn’t have to bring anything to cook or prepare meals. Our meals were delicious and hit the spot after a long day of hiking in the desert. The bathrooms were a short walk away and lights were motion activated, which made it nice so we didn’t need to bring flashlights with us. Overall, an amazing time and would love to come back the next time we are here.

This is such a fantastic place to stay! Definitely a highlight of my many HipCamp trips with others. The place felt perfectly private, was wonderfully scenenic, efficient and had everything we needed. Even with the incredible wind, we slept warm and well in the yurt.

What a wonderful place to relax. 33’ RV for perfect and the hot spring tub was great. Can make really hot if you want. Nice to soak after hiking in Joshua Tree all day. Shower & toilets clean, quiet space and great stargazing. Fire pit also had chairs around it.

Camping and soaking among the palms

Ron, the property owner/manager, has a charmingly rustic operation going here and we we had a great stay. The propane heaters were necessary for the winter temps and allowed us to enjoy the waters day or night. Our spot felt private and safe. We slept in our campervan, but we peaked inside a tent and they looked very spacious yet cozy too. Ron was always around and reachable for any questions or issues. And the dates are good too!

Camping at the Mineral Spring RV site on Date Farm was a very enjoyable experience. The host, Ronald, and his wife gave us a warm welcome, and we were able to enjoy the hot springs at a date farm. At night, we camped while gazing at countless stars. The hot spring water was very warm, and the tub was spacious and comfortable, easily fitting two people. The site was very private and well equipped with a table, chairs, and even a barbecue grill, making it perfect for those who are looking for a cozy and relaxing camping experience.

Private Mineral Spring on Date Farm

I took my daughter to get away for a couple of days. I'm so glad I found this place. We had a very comfortable tent with beds and electricity. We had the option of a propane heater, but the weather was nice than we anticipated, so we didn't need it. Ron was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We built a nice fire and went for a soak in our own private mineral soring water soaking tub. We got a great night sleep and woke up the next morning and prepared our breakfast in the communal kitchen. It has everything we needed and then we were on our way to Joshua Tree. An easy 40 minute drive. And the dates were so good. We got 6lbs. We will definitely be back!

Mineral Springs Date Farm RV Site

I loved being nestled in the palm fronds with my pup! The tent w/bed+electricity, tub w/hot springs water, and location are fantastic. It felt surprisingly private because the managers take care in placing folks. They responded quickly to my questions and everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful. Grateful for the kitchen w/ potable water and there's rustic shower+toilet building. Highly recommend!

Secret Garden Mineral Springs

The hosts were really responsive and this place provides awesome access to hot springs and the desert night sky. The tubs for the hot springs were clean, in great shape and easy to use, and the sites feel private. The tents are also in good shape and the bed was super comfortable. There’s a communal kitchen, including fridge space, and the site is close to town and amenities. Advice for future guests: our tent was equipped with electricity and a space heater (and an ac for summer), but that type of space is not the kind that can be left on while sleeping. Just something to be aware of before you stay.

Private Mineral Spring on Date Farm

We stayed 2 nights at the private mineral spring site and had a great time. It was nice, private and relaxing. The inside the of tent was lean and the beds were comfortable. The electric heater made the inside temperature perfect for those cold nights. The spring water was nice and warm and the propane water heater added that extra heat for a comfy and relaxing late night soak. Ron and Myung were very kind and communicative answering any questions we had. They are great hosts. The dates were tasty and the kimchi ramen we ordered was very delicious.
