NO BATHROOMS, TOILETS OR SHOWERS PROVIDED — BRING YOUR OWN TOILET. Camp at Melody's Rendezvous, a short walk from Pappy & Harriet's, Red Dog and historic Mane Street. Our campsites are primarily for self-contained RVs and travel trailers, with electric, water and sewer hookups so guests can use their own onboard bathrooms. Electrical capacity varies by site; see each site's details. Picnic tables and trash bins are available. Use the sewer hookup only with a proper RV connection, and dispose of portable-toilet waste at an appropriate disposal facility. Never leave or dump toilet waste, wastewater, toilet paper, or hygiene products on the ground. Clean up after yourself and leave the campsite clean. PRIVACY NOTE We’re looking forward to welcoming you! Please note that guests may also be staying in the main house during your dates, so we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of each other’s privacy. The campsites are surrounded by a 7-foot privacy fence, which generally provides good separation depending on the height of your unit. Please avoid climbing onto RV roofs or positioning yourselves in a way that overlooks the house, so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay. We truly appreciate your understanding.

No RV, tent, bed, or bathroom is provided. Joshua Tree National Park is about 25 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our Hipcamp site! Super easy to get to, great location in Pioneertown, hook ups were easily accessible, & close enough to Joshua tree to drive and explore and come back in a short amount of time. Thank you for having us!

Pioneertown Camp #1 | Hookups by Pa

This is a great site, and very convenient. It's right next to the Red Dog Saloon, and you can walk around Pioneertown. The campsite is quiet and private, with water, electricity, and even a Tesla charger. It's a great place to relax and the perfect home base for exploring!

Pioneertown Camp #1 | Hookups by Pa

We had an amazing time camping in Pioneertown. The campsite was immaculate, offering a breathtaking view of the desert. We could also relish the town’s lively nightlife while enjoying serene nights. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive to our inquiries. We’re definitely booking this spot again when we return to the area.

Perfect spot to camp if you're spending time in Pioneertown! Just a block from the Red Dog Saloon and around the corner from Pappy and Harriet's, this location was clean, easy, and safer than getting on the highway late at night. Highly recommend.

This is a great spot in the heart of Pioneertown for those that appreciate full hookups! We visited for 2 nights to attend a wedding and couldn’t have been more comfortable at Edo’s spot. Highly recommended for those visiting Pioneertown and the general Yucca Valley-Joshua Tree area.

Camp # 3 | Full Hookups by Pappy’s

First time visiting Pioneertown and our stay at The Red Dog SITE #3 was amazing. It had full rv hook ups with wifi. It was also right next to the town so we were able to just walk to the Red Dog Saloon enjoy some drinks and explore the ghost town. Edo was a great host, he communicated with us the entire time to make sure we were ok and answered all our questions.
