California's first trailer motel and the second in the United States inspired by The Shady Dell (est. 1927) Hicksville was opened April 2010 as a retreat for artists of any medium to get away and have a safe place to create & collaborate. The motel came into existence as we realized that people from any occupation or background might appreciate a place to relax and enjoy the magic that is in and around Joshua Tree.  Learn more about this land: This cozy little homestead is named after nearby Pioneertown. This vintage western themed trailer has its own front porch, mini fridge, & sink. Yee Haw! Features: • Double Bed • Front Porch • Mini Fridge • A/C & Heat • Poolside • Sleeps 1-2 • Shared Bathroom • Dog Friendly (Up to 2 dogs, 25lbs or less) Hicksville Trailer Palace is a private, 21+ years of age property. We have 2 family friendly weeks out of the year that we welcome all ages, April 10-16 & Nov 22-29.
