This place is awesome! The campsite is beautifully set up, it shows great attention to detail. The tent even has cute LED lights to create a nice cozy atmosphere at night. There are also a couple of comforters for the cold weather. It gets chilly at night (mid-March) so we recommend getting the heater.
The tent is near two other campsites, but you can't see or hear them, so it feels very private. From the tent, you have amazing views of Joshua trees and big snowy mountains. You can also explore the land around the tent (there is a pine tree decorated with Christmas lights nearby :)).
The owners were friendly and helpful. Jane gave us very precise indications on how to get there, and Adrian showed us the campsite. During our stay, they kept us informed of winds and rain coming our way.
The road is a bumpy dirt road that seems a little rough, but our Prius could manage it.

Absolutely gorgeous!! And SO easy to get to from LA. We drove out after work Friday, had a lovely day lounging and going on small hikes around the area (there were even more amazing hikes up the mountain, we were just too lazy to drive 10 min haha). The yurt is beyond magical with the stove, comfy bed and twinkle lights. We easily slept 6 adults! It is eerily quiet in the area and there are neighbors nearby so best for groups not trying to blast music all night long but rather enjoy the nature sounds :)

Besides the people partying very loudly at the tent site next to us during the nights we were trying to relax this site was very beautiful and we had a good time exploring with my dog during the daytime hours! Would 10/10 camp here again!

It was such an amazing experience, there was everything we needed for a comfortable safe and Jane was so nice and informative about the running of the site. Lots of privacy and things to see in the area definitely would visit again. Just be aware it's a small hike to the site but well worth it for the view

This site is everything I hoped it would be. Jane has done an amazing job furnishing the tent, and was incredibly helpful walking through everything from heating, cooking, sleeping, etc. Cooking was easy on the propane stove, the propane campfire was a great place to hangout, and the tent was lovely once the sun set.
100% would come back!

This camp site is well-maintained, remote, and tranquil.
The owners are excellent at communicating and provided all the details needed for navigating to the location. The site looks exactly as advertised and everything is already set up and ready to go upon arrival. One small note: we would recommend bringing some extra blankets if you get cold easily because the tent can get a little chilly at night. The site has a beautiful view and we woke up each morning with a greeting from several birds singing with each other.
The owners did an amazing job creating an experience that connects people with nature without sacrificing comfort. We loved our time here and are already planing our next trip!
I would highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to connect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

Hi Desert Villa Belle Tent
Our family had a great time at Jane's campsite! The view of the mountains and Antelope Valley is incredible, and the tent was very spacious and comfortable. Big enough to fit two adults and three young kids. Jane was really helpful, meeting us at the site and showing us around. The bathroom was very clean and well-maintained, and we had a great time cooking breakfast and dinner with the propane stove Jane supplied. And it's just a short drive from Wrightwood, we took the kids to play in the snow during the day!
10/10, we'll be back!

Hi Desert Villa Belle Tent
I would highly recommend staying here. First off, Jane was incredibly friendly and a fantastic host. Check-in and check-out were easy; leave no trace. The tent was absolutely gorgeous inside and the area was even more beautiful. It was peaceful and scenic. At nightfall it was pretty cold, but the chimney inside the tent kept it nice and cozy. My friends and I had a relaxing game night with a view. I would definitely come here again. Thank you Jane!!

What a fabulous easy getaway from Los Angeles! Jane’s property is stunning with beautiful desert landscape and views of snowy mountains. The tent and accommodations were picture-perfect, literally exactly as advertised… Clean, thoughtful and trendy.
Communication, responsiveness, directions to the property, tour upon arrival, friendliness and hospitality… all 10/10 outstanding.

We came here for our anniversary and had a great time! The hideaway tent is down a well-lit little trail which gets a bit annoying to walk back and forth from the car, so warn your asthmatic friends, but if you don’t mind the walk, it’s a beautiful little trail. The tent itself is so cute! There’s fairy lights around the perimeter and a heater, lots of warm blankets. There are other camps nearby but they’re not in sight and you can’t really hear the other people, so it’s still very private and it feels like it. We explored the land a bit and had a cute little desert picnic. Very nice hosts very helpful, I wish the welcome booklet was little more informative, and that they sent me all the information sooner before I lost service. We just didn’t know how to turn on the heater for the first night. Other than that, it was great! We’d absolutely come back again :)

Jane and Adrian were so welcoming, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. They thought of everything for their site. Everything was so well maintained and set up - the tent, stove, fire pit, table area. It's a beautiful location and beautiful setup. It was a very comfortable stay and they provided everything I needed, down to even portable chargers, lamps, wood, propane, instructions, etc.

Took my girlfriend here for an overnight getaway and can say I’d definitely go again. The tent is spacious, and clean. There are some nice amenities such as the lighting, chairs and of course the fire place. I brought an extra comforter thankfully cause in between logs it did get cold while we slept. The exterior site was nice and well arranged with beautiful views. The restroom was perfectly fine. The hosts were great. All in all a good experience. Also just a note there is a short rough stretch on the dirt road but still made it fine in my Camry. Also I had great reception here. Enough to stream a live event.

Lovely overnight! Jane had all the essentials for a cozy stay (fire wood, ambient lighting, comfy bed) and there was lots of space in the yurt and outside. The location was also nice - it was nestled under the mountains and not TOO hard to get to. Highly recommend!

My partner and I were blown away by the view from Jane's land. Sweeping mountain views, Joshua trees, and the high desert along the horizon made for an enchanting stay. We arrived to a helpful host, clean bell tent, sleek compost toilet, and a snowy vista! We visited in mid-January and there were sparse snow patches, I would highly recommend renting the propane fire pit!

We loved camping on Jane's site. The tent site is fairly close to one of the permanent tents (yurt?) but just far enough to feel isolated. This is a good place to get away from the city for a while. There are two spots for your tents, one closer to the picnic table and another a bit downslope.
Jane has everything set up very nicely. We arrived after dark so really appreciated the clear instructions because one missed turn and you will be on a rough road. At the site there are clear paths and solar nightlights to show where to put the tents. Jane's care and attention to detail really shows in the daylight. This is such a well planned and maintained campsite and also minimally disturbed from its natural state.
The scenery is beautiful both in daylight and at night. When we arrived there the moon was half full so the first part of the night was moonlit and everything was painted in silvery beautiful light. When the moon set the number of visible stars was in the thousands! In the morning there was snow on the nearby mountains and the most calming silence. It warmed up quickly once the sun rose over the mountains, but the gas firepit (recommended in winter) made the wait tolerable.
Since we arrived late we missed our chance to meet Jane in person, but she exchanged several texts with us making sure we found the site and such. We are sorry we missed her.

This was an incredible experience - beautiful, remote gorgeous setting, and the tent itself was perfect - immaculate. Attention to design detail throughout the property was great - even the lovely outhouse. Hosts were very helpful. I strongly recommend when you visit, doing detailed planning about how to get there - the last roads are very bumpy dirt roads without signage so please work with the hosts to make sure you know what your plan is before you set out on your journey. This was fairly rugged experience for an urbanite like me, both for my car, and for me (long-ish) walk downhill to the tent and back up, but for adventure travelers it will be no big deal, and I savored the journey. Thank you, Jane and Adrian!

We really enjoyed the spot it was a nice and quick get away from Los Angeles. No hassle to set up and the propane fireplace was a nice add-on. Beautiful scenery all around

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s on our long drive from the Bay Area to San Diego. It was dreamy to wake up in the high desert with the mountains and juniper bushes all around us — so peaceful! Jane brought us over some hot water for our oats, fresh fruit, pastry, and hot coffee, and it was a highlight to start the day with breakfast in such a beautiful, remote place. So much care is put into this spot, from the wood burning fireplace in the tent, to the composting toilet. I appreciate all the safety precautions they have taken, too, like installing the carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher. The only challenge was that we took our Prius and the roads are definitely challenging. She mentioned they’d be working on the roads, and I imagine this would not be much of an issue in a car that is a little higher up from the ground but if you’re in a sedan, I’d check in about the roads before booking. Thanks Jane for sharing your little sanctuary with us!
