Glynraven Gardens

Lovely spot up a small hill that has beautiful views of the valley. About 15 minutes from Hopland, off of a turn that can be a bit easy to miss in the dark, though we found it with the address given in google maps. We stayed at the Airstream spot. The Airstream itself has a big and pretty comfortable bed, a roof heater for inside, some seating and some shelving. The outside has a very cool mural piece. Only strange thing is there were no curtains. The spot has the Airstream stepping out onto a big deck that faces the valley. You get a gas grill and plenty of seating with a light that lights up the whole deck at night. There is also a fully built out compost toilet a few steps off the deck that was always stocked and comfortable. Wifi is on site, no password, and plenty fast. The property is above the fog line so at night turn off the lights and you get great stars and it's also very quiet albeit you can hear the road, but it's an engine running in the distance, not a noisy freeway. Extras Clark was VERY responsive through the app. There were a couple of things that came up ahead of our stay and he was messaging us making sure we were good, and gave us plenty of make up offers that were well above the issue but of course appreciated. There is a pool and hot tub with beautiful views We were greeted by a flock of peacocks one morning. There are also a couple cats running around. We met one that was a total ham. We went in January, it was a bit chilly, no bugs

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in the Lotus Belle yurt and 1 in the Hemp house. Both were amazing experiences. There’s such a calming atmosphere across the entire property and the owner is very kind and accommodating if needed. Grills work great, pool was clean and views were amazing. 10/10 recommend.

Campsite Blue Dream

This property is beautiful and the amenities were very nice. However if you are not a good driver or not comfortable on steep dirt roads, I cannot recommend this. I had some problems in my vehicle making up the mountain and had to really gun the accelerator to make up it there. I didn’t get to meet the host which is alright, but I didn’t take the tour like I requested. There is a sweet cat there that was the highlight for me.

We loved everything about this property. We were so lucky to have been able to stay there. Clark is such a kind person. He truly made us feel welcome. Clark was so kind to upgrade our stay and it was absolutely amazing. I want to book again and enjoy the beautiful property one more time.

10/10 Would absolutely recommend. Location is great, only a few hours north of SF and the 101 is a beautiful drive. Once at the site you are situated on top a hill overlooking the valley which is an incredible backdrop to be relaxing, reading, camping or any other activity you might want to. The site is surrounded by peacocks which was a lovely and welcomed surprise to us. Owner is amazing, very friendly and nice guy. Would highly recommend staying here on your next weekend getaway.

Absolutely stunning getaway and warm hospitality. We met and made friends with beautiful strangers, and came away with great memories. Antler is a great host, the pool was super clean, the stargazing was magnificent, we had no trouble. Would def come back.

Gratitude to Clark for everything about this beautiful place. I was able to pitch my tent in the orchard and he also allowed me to use his personal kitchen because the meal i was preparing for myself needed more than just the grill haha grateful to wake up and play my tank drum by the pool in the morning and just BE with all the animals. I will come back for sure and take the tour!

Clark was the best host! This is such a fun, unique site from the pool to the views to the animals! We loved our stay here and look forward to returning. Use Google maps to get here and pack bug spray (and maybe ear plugs). We stayed in the glamping tent, it was so comfortable and close to the washroom and pool. Pictures barely do this place justice. Definitely recommend for a fun, warm weekend.

Clark was a cool camp host.. had a few questions and he took care of me!! Lovely seeing all the land and the animals.. his patrol dog was a awesome camp host as well.. made sure no wild animals hit up the camp site.. A true oasis!

Clark was such a kind host and this was such a wonderful first glamping experience! Originally, we booked the lotus bell tent but the weather in June was unexpectedly cold. Clark showed us around the property and we ended up staying in the airstream because it had heat/AC. It also has its own patio and view of the valley. It’s also a bit quieter and more secluded than the other tent sites as the peacocks and chickens seemed to stay around the areas closer to the pool.

Such a fascinating and beautiful place! The view of the wine valley below from the swimming pool was amazing, and it was a short 15 minute drive to wine tasting around Hopland. We were there for two nights during the workweek, when few other campers were present. It was very serene, although not especially quiet, given all the peacocks, hens, roosters, and one dog all around us. We enjoyed the domestic animals, who fortunately were mostly quiet once the sun went down. Watching the big peacocks fly up into the trees at dusk was amusing.

A very special piece of heaven

Stayed in the airstream and couldn't be more happy with that choice and feel so very lucky and privileged to get to share Clarks project. From the bones to the skin this place has an aesthetic spirit to is beautiful to witness. Can't say how happy and relaxed we were here.

What a fantastic hidden magical gem this place is 💗💖💗 the views are amazing in all directions and the pool is an oasis all in its own ! With sweeping views of wine country, and beautiful lush rolling hills and mountain sides. Peacocks all over the place . And so many hidden secrets of history around every corner. The host Clark is a wonderful joy and such a blessing in every way. I’ll be back most definitely.

Enchanting and inspiration.

Thank you, Clark for sharing your little piece of Heaven on earth!. This 200 acre farm is truly enchanting, with beautiful peacocks roaming free and breathtaking views of the Mendocino Valley is truly inspirational. I highly recommend you take the tour of the farm. . Clark was a very gracious host. If good vibes only was a place it would be Glynraven Gardens. I will definitely go back.

Rejuvenating

This stay was amazing! We arrived late, after dark but we were greeted with enthusiasm and given the choice of where to stay on the property. It was lovely to wake up to the sunrise over the valley and walk around the property, looking at all the interesting collections and statues. It was really a place of beauty and creative energy. We so enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at night and looking up at the stars, and collecting eggs in the morning for breakfast. What a relaxing experience. Clark (Antler) was kind, hospitable and responsive. I would definitely return again.

Absolutely incredible gem. The view from the airtream is stunning. The highlights of my trip were seeing the Milky Way while stargazing in the hot tub at night and sitting on the Airstream deck with the guard dog Kush. Antler is a gem of a human being, you will want to opt in for the tour and pot tasting to get the true experience of Glynraven Gardens.

Our group absolutely loved this stay! Truly such a gorgeous and rare property at an affordable price range made even better by Antler who was so kind, generous and accommodating! This is a great location to relax by the water or go to a nearby winery, and the glamping tents are great with a comfortable bed and a walkable bathroom nearby with an outdoor shower! Do prepare for a more communal vibe if it is a busy weekend as the pool and kitchen are shared with other folks staying at the site, perhaps best to rent out the whole space if you want it to yourself. Also, come with earplugs as the roosters will wake you up when the sun rises! Overall a really great stay and spot and we can’t wait to come back :)

The Best & Most Unique HipCamp!

This was easily the most magical and unique Hipcamp my wife and I have experienced. There are plenty of lodging options, ranging from bring-your-own-tent to staying in a fully furnished cottage with a beautiful bathroom and A/C. So, everyone should be able to find the exact right option for them. We could probably write a book about how cool this place is, but we're limited to 1,500 characters here, so we'll just list them off instead. - There is a stunning infinity pool surrounded by lots of unique artwork. It feels like you've been transported somewhere in Asia. - There is an outdoor cooking area/fridge where you can make dinner or store food. - There are tons of peacocks and chickens running around. Plus Clark has a very friendly cat that came to hang out with us multiple times. - There's plenty of fruit, vegetables, and even cannabis growing around you! Even with all of that said, there is still so much to explore, and we'll be organizing a trip back very soon (with friends!).

Perfect escape not too far off

Magical, hidden gem of a place. Antler was a most attentive and respectful host. I almost don't want to share with the rest of the world how beautiful the grounds are. Such a peaceful place. Spent my birthday with a friend in the Airstream. It was a great glamping option for a short trip. The pool/ hot tub are stunning! Will most definitely be returning to enjoy other dwelling options on property.

I had an amazing time camping here. It is a beautiful piece of land with an incredible pool that has a spectacular view of the hills. There are peacocks that roam and a very cute pup on patrol. Everyone here is very friendly. Clark and his staff did not hesitate to give us a jump when my battery died. Highly recommend staying here for a unique and serene experience.

We had an amazing, magical experience at Clark’s farm. The pool and views from there are gorgeous. We had forgotten our tarp for our tent and he let us use a glamping tent free of charge because it was my boyfriend’s birthday weekend. He showed us around the farm and let us pick delicious pears and figs off the trees. There is a big flock of peacocks that live on property and it was just awesome to see them hanging around. Would 100% recommend.

Staying at Buddha Cheese was a great experience, because the host Antler is a great communicator and host, the views are wonderful, and the pristine pool and hot tub are very special experiences with lots of comfortable seating around to enjoy the view. The property is enhanced by many different kinds of visual experiences in the form of statuary, murals, and misc sculptures. And we saw a huge variety of peacocks, along with their young. The campsite itself is very simple, i.e., a leveled area for a our large tent; no table.
