This beautiful property is situated on 55 secluded acres in the lovely foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Your adventure begins when you escape the pavement and experience three miles of beautiful scenery on a maintained dirt road. Swimming, fishing, and hiking await you. SAFE, GATED and perfect for moms who want to take their kids camping, or any one who wants to try out the camping experience but has been hesitant. 1 1/2 hours from Yosemite National Park. Reservations may be required. Experience the abundant wild life and soothing sound of the Fresno River. Put your feet in the sand and just unplug for a few days. Each season is uniquely beautiful. Spring hosts an abundance of green hills, wild flowers and cooler weather. The river is higher, faster and colder. New life pops up everywhere. Baby ducks, geese, quail and beaver frequent the river. Glitter Cove waterfall is in its full glory. The nights can be cool, so come prepared. Summer is the perfect time to swim and lounge in the river. As the days heat up, the river begins to slow and warms up to a comfortable yet refreshing temperature. New beaches emerge, just waiting to be explored. In late summer, early fall, there is a feeling of calm. The river slows significantly but still feels amazing to sit in. You can hear its gentle flow and soothing sound as it trickles over the rocks. This is a great time time to explore the river as it is mostly shallow with some swim holes. Most of the time it is very quiet. There is another camp down stream owned by a wonderful family. They are here a couple times per week, and also rent their camp. You may hear them having fun and engaging in target practice. The river is a shared space but it is rare to see anyone else. Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing coyotes sing at night is very common. The rarely seen wildlife includes rattle snakes, bob cats, coyotes, fox, mountain lions and bears. Don't worry, our animal friends like to keep their distance. Hope to see you soon! There is a stocked indoor kitchenet with coffee , French press or perk and instant, spices, olive oil, dishes, cutlery cutting boards, dish towels, baggies, foil etc. Pots, pans, cooking utensils and a propane BBQ with a stove burner are provided for the outdoor kitchen. A propane camp stove and fire pit will enhance your camping experience. Ceiling fans will help you stay cool on hot summer days. Dish soap , towels and cleaning spray are also provided. A private bathroom with an environmentally friendly, composting toilet and an outdoor shower will suit your personal needs. Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are provided. Running water is supplied for showers and dishes. Please bring plenty of drinking water. If you would like the host to supply drinking water, please add it to your booking in the the "EXTRAs" section of the listing. This will be pristine well water from the hosts home. The pergola sleeps 4 people. Linens, sleeping bags, pillows, bath towels and beach towels are provided for 4 guests. Feel free to bring tents and cots if you book more than 4 people. Additional camping cots are available in the "Extras" section when you book. The sleeping accommodations include one comfy queen size bed and two sofas for kids or average size adults. The camp is off grid with a small solar system for lights, fans and charging your devices. If you need power for medical devices, coolers, electric coffee makers, etc., You can rent a generator from the "EXTRAS", section of the listing. Cell phone reception is ok and text works well. Although this is a very safe area, there is a gate at the entrance of the camp that you can close at night or if you will be gone for the day.

This place is more than a campsite, more than a stop off. It is magical! Cindy has done an incredible job curating a special place for those who want to commune with nature, watch the stars and cool in water. It is well appointed, well taken care of and a delight to visit

Beautiful private spot overlooking a river. Cindy has really done a great job with setup and decor. Everything is super functional and well thought out. The sleeping area is extremely comfortable with solar powered lights and fans everywhere. Bug nets surround you and if you want total protection from the outside there are canvas covers for all sides that zip up. Bathroom is clean and easy to use, shower is cute and had hot water during the day when we rinsed off from swimming. Cook area is great with stove, sink and bbq. I will note that wasps do show up when you cook meat and they do have wasp traps all around to deter them but that’s part of being in nature. We took our food inside the pergola and had no issues once inside the netting. The river is great, we swam in there swimming spot and fished as well. We caught some baby bass and a small catfish while there. We adventured up river and it was truly beautiful. At night we laid out a blanket on the beach and stared at the amazing night sky. We saw so many shooting stars, was truly amazing. Cindy also had a propane fire pit available for night time fun too. Night lights at camp were functional and beautiful as well. All in all this trip was amazing. Cindy was amazing. She met us at the gate and walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. She was in communication with us our entire stay and responded quickly. I recommend glitter cove 100%. Thanks Cindy!

What a magical place! I can confidently say that this was the BEST "glamping" experience ever! Our two daughters (ages 8 and 11), our two dogs, and my husband and I had a wonderful time. Cindy keeps the place immaculate and fully stocked with everything you need and more! The living spaces were comfortable and cozy. The setting couldn't have been better. We caught loads of fish and had complete privacy. Best hidden gem ever!

My husband and I along with our two teenage kids just spent the weekend at Glitter Cove. Cindy, the host was a great communicator throughout the process. Booking, directions to get there plus check-in was a completely smooth process. Cindy was there to meet us on arrival to give us a walk through and answer any questions. Then she left us to ourselves -so total privacy. The place was really clean and had everything we needed. The pergola and setting were beautiful. Lots of space for outdoor games and a great outdoor cook and dining space with a comfy sleeping set up. Outdoor composting toilet and shower worked great. It was very hot (we were there late August) but the swim holes in the creek and the solar powered fans in the pergola really helped. All in all a great stay and we will definitely go back again.

The site was just as pictured. Beautiful and unique. The host was very attentive and helpful. Our kids had a wonderful time “mining” for gold and swimming with the little fish in the river. We would love to come back.

Glitter Cove Retreat Pergola
This beautiful land on Fresno Creek is very appropriately named. The sand sparkles with gold and the river is so clear you can see clearly to the bottom. Very private and host is very accommodating. My family appreciates the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place. I highly recommend for parents or grandparents of Young teens that need to unplug from social media and connect with god and nature.

Glitter Cove is a true “Glamping” experience. Cindy has really thought of everything needed for a relaxing and extra comfortable retreat away from the crowds. It was hot but there is shade and water to swim in and after a long day at the beach you can have a nice shower and kick back on a couch or in a cozy bed!

What a special place this is! I had a lovely, peaceful stay with my dogs. It was private, quiet and Cindy did a wonderful job at communication and directions. She made sure we were set with all we needed right when we arrived. I enjoyed spending time down at the shady dragonfly beach since it was a hotter day. It was such a treat to hear the flowing water right from camp. My dogs loved the freedom of playing and exploring around the area.

There is so much to say about this site, however I doubt I'll be able to think of it all into words. For starters, the host Cindy and her husband are so welcoming, kind, and quick with communication which made it so easy to settle in. They have a very well maintained and beautiful dirt road leading to the camp site, but do go slow. The views from the pergola were absolutely STUNNING, we couldn't help but unwind out surrounded by nature enjoying the birds singing and the gentle sounds from the river. The pergola itself was absolutely gorgeous, they truly thought of everything to make this the most amazing retreat from busy day to day life! This wasn't just an amazing get away for the adults either, the kids had an absolute BLAST playing in the river, gold panning, exploring and more. I do suggest bringing water shoes if you're planning on going up the river as there are sharp rocks and definitely don't forget sunscreen! This truly couldn't have been a better getaway for us all, we are definitely coming back and I'll be recommending it to anyone who will listen!

This was the perfect getaway. We were two couples with 5 kids under the age of 8. We did have a tent as well but it was so much more than we ever expected. Cindy is really great at communicating in a timely manner and keeps the place fully stocked of all the essentials. We door dashed ice one day too, no issues. The boys fished and caught tadpoles. You’re just steps from the river. Her place is super clean and off grid. Can’t wait to come back!!

We love this place and hope to come 1-2X per year. This was our second time back. Cindy is very nice and accommodating. Many amenities are provided and the set up is great for glamping but you can also bring your tent and be close to the water. It is very magical and right along the river. Our dogs loved roaming and swimming with us. Words really can't do the place justice!

This place is one of those places i just want to keep secret lol, but in good conscience i have to tell you how amazing it is ! Glitter cove is magic... If you are a party hearty crowd this is not for you. It is secluded, and quiet. Lie in the creek, float down, read a book on the bank, hike around.... beautiful scenery, gorgeous. Cindy is a gem, she is friendly and helpful but completely unobtrusive. I cannot recommend this place enough !

We stayed for a day with our two dogs. The stay was true to the pictures. Cindy was very helpful. We had complete access to the river and the dogs were off leash the entire time. We felt very safe and all the amenities were available. We ordered food through Doordash and they were able to deliver to the location.

We had a great time at Glitter Cove! The dogs were able to explore, swim, and run to their hearts content. Cindy was the best host! Excellent directions and all the necessities were there waiting for us. The grill was perfect for cooking, bed was super comfy, and the surrounding area was just beautiful. My favorite spot was the swimming hole. The dogs didn’t want to leave. Cindy was very responsive to messages before and during our stay. Will def come again!!

We absolutely loved the place and had a wonderful time here with our friends and family. It was comfortable, aptly located and walking up to river water sounds with birds chirping along was the most mesmerizing experience! It is beautiful and quiet. The accomodations and facilities are really lovely, with space to roam, and the river is wonderful. It is nice a far away from everyone, while still easily accessed. Cindy was very helpful and friendly, yet completely unobtrusive.

We loved being able to have so much land to wander and be so far away from the city. Cindy was amazing in communication, answering all the questions my group had, and was extremely friendly. A place we will definitely be recommending to friends as it was an amazing set up. So much provided that we ended up not having to use a lot of the extra equipment that we had brought. Highly recommend planning a stay with Cindy.

This Hipcamp is so fun! Besides Cindy meeting us when we arrived, we didn’t see another soul our entire stay. The bed is so comfortable, and it’s the best feeling of sleeping out in nature but with the same comforts of home. Our dogs were the happiest hanging out at the river and exploring all day. Yosemite is definitely close enough for a day trip, which we did! You pretty much have everything you could need on-site, it’s clean and thoughtful, couldn’t ask for more. Additionally, Cindy is a very helpful and understanding host. We never had any communication issues with her. We did have some service, but it was slow! We missed our checkout instructions because of that. I’d recommend asking for them a day early! Don’t sleep on this place!! It’s amazing!

What a magical place! My boys and I had the best time at Glitter Cove! The tent is so thoughtfully designed and comfy. The camp kitchen had everything we needed. The little shower and potty was very convenient. We fished, frogged, found cool rocks and crystals, swam, hiked, and fell asleep to the sound of the river…heavenly!

A very lovely & magical experience

Cindy's place was amazing and peaceful. The space was very clean and had almost every amenities and aironb have., the bed specifically was very comfortable and had amazing bed sheets. We enjoyed the view and the privacy the space offered. Cindy was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place.
