A warm welcome into our home and we hope you enjoy these experiences that are designed to regenerate your body, mind, and soul. A place for you to disconnect from your daily life and reconnect with the surroundings. Our retreat is nestled among redwood trees a few miles from the Pacific Ocean in the town of Elk, CA. A short coastal drive from the historic village of Mendocino.

The Water Tower is tucked away and nestled among redwoods a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. This is a place to disconnect and reconnect with the surroundings. To unplug and decompress from busy life. About 5 miles from our town of Elk and a nice coastal drive 14 miles to the historic village of Mendocino. --- Social @elkcaliforniaforestretreat *We are taking extra efforts with our cleaning and washing for extra hygiene precautions. *Please make sure you do some research on local restaurant hours before you get here as there is limited cell service in the area. Inside The queen bed is located in the second-floor loft space. Steps to this space are more like a ladder (very steep) stairs and may be a problem for some individuals. Just remember to go up and down facing them... like a ladder :) *The water tower seating is lower to the ground. Please see pictures for reference. *There is no wifi or cell services. Incase of an emergency, we have a phone for you to use. :) The space is equipped with: - Day bed seating - Queen Casper bed in 2nd floor lofted sleeping area - Full bath with standing shower - Kitchen: There is a single gas stove, compact fridge, pan, pot to boil, cutting board and basic kitchen tools. There is a pour over coffee and some coffee for you to enjoy as well. This is a small kitchenette setup for light cooking, it may be difficult to plan something too complex. -Books/games and a speaker for music. - Propane gas heat source.

If our hut is unavailable, please check out our water tower retreat. *Please discuss the details with us before your stay if you are using this as a photoshoot promoting any lifestyle brand, products or services. **Important Consideration** before making a reservation. *If you are looking for a hotel luxury amenities experience, this is not the right fit for you. The hut is a rustic experience, think camping but with a heat, bed and a hot bath. *The Redwood Forest Camping Hut is accessed via a forest path from the parking area. *The space has multiple steps and stairs which may be a problem for some individuals. *There is NO kitchen for cooking. We supply plates and utensils so you can bring your take-out or snacks and enjoy your meal either indoors or outdoors in solitude. There is a sink so your plates and utensils may be cleaned. There is a pour over coffee and a teapot so you can make hot beverages. We encourage you to enjoy the local restaurants and recognize the hut experience is not a cooking experience due to the many forest animals and insects that it tends to attract. *Modern compost toilet. Not a flushing toilet :) Please see picture for reference. We suggest guests arrive before sunset as the forest gets very dark at night. Please bring a torchlight if you will be arriving late or after dark. *There is no wifi or cell services. Incase of an emergency, we have a phone for you to use. :) *NO hairdryer or hair iron, please. The hut can only support minimal electrical usage. Only charge small devices, anything more will cause the power

Beautiful, zen, comfortable vibes!

Water Tower Retreat

we absolutely loved staying in the water tower! it was the most peaceful stay! all of the little details made our visit so wonderful, from the essential oil diffuser to the gentle music upon arrival, the vibes were so zen and we wanted to spend the whole day hanging out and enjoying the calm energy of the water tower and the surrounding forest. thank you so much for creating such a lovely and beautiful space in the forest!!!
