What a beautiful place. The location is a quiet, very rural area but within an easy drive to cafes, grocery stores, Palm Springs, and hiking trails. The land is lovely, with a big eucalyptus tree welcoming you onto the property and singing in the wind. (By the way, the wind is no joke -- I recommend bringing a sturdy tent!) There are so many resources available to campers that I truly felt like a guest in a home. Seriously, the outdoor kitchen is insanely well-stocked (pots, pans, plates, spices, ziploc bags, even a French press!) and being able to cook on a propane grill made life so easy. Access to a mini-fridge, microwave, and hot water kettle spoiled me. The outdoor shower was warm, private, and comfortable. I didn't use the pool but it looked gorgeous. The hosts were very responsive, gracious, and accommodating. Communication is extensive and clear, something satisfying for a type A type like me. There is a hum of life, love, and community that I enjoyed settling into for a few days, and I can't recommend this place enough.
