Good Signage, Poor On‑Site Organise
Overall, this campsite was okay, but there are several areas that could be improved.
The signage leading up to the site was absolutely fantastic and very reassuring, especially as we arrived after dark. However, once through the green gate into the campsite itself, the signage completely disappears. None of the individual parking or camping spots are clearly marked or signposted, so we ended up parking in the dark and simply hoping we were in an acceptable location.
The bathroom facilities were another letdown. While we had no issue with the toilet being a porta‑potty, it was extremely dirty, as were the sink and hand‑washing facilities. For a campsite of this size, having only one bathroom also feels inadequate.
Finally, I would echo what other reviews have mentioned: access to the site involves a very steep, grassy uphill walk, which may be difficult for some visitors, particularly when carrying gear or arriving in wet conditions.
