DeAnza Springs Resort is a family friendly resort in North America. Situated on more than 500 private acres of high desert (2600 feet above sea level) in Eastern San Diego County, it is ideal for year-round vacationing. The Resort is comprised of 311 spacious RV sites, most with full hookups, (30/50 amps) and unlimited tent sites for camping. Comfortable rental units consist of fully furnished tiny homes and motel rooms. Centerpiece to the Resort is a 7500 square foot clubhouse. It is home to the Oasis Lounge/Bar and cafe. There is also a computer area for public internet access. No matter what activities you enjoy, you’ll probably find them available at DeAnza Springs Resort. Surrounded on three sides by the wilderness of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, the resort grounds include grassy lawns, shade trees, two sparkling swimming pools and a hot tub with access to hiking trails in every direction. Amenities include two swimming pools open year round (one indoor heated and one outdoors), an outdoor hot tub, tennis/pickle ball courts, shuffle-board courts, fitness center with sauna, and laundry facilities. It's a relaxing place to camp, with plenty of hiking trails and open space to walk. The community is very welcoming to campers. We had a great time enjoying the pool! Thank you—we’ll definitely be back!!

My boy friend and I book this place when all mount laguna campsites were full. It is a clothing optional community. We have no idea until we got there. The jacuzzi and pool is naked only. The view of the rocks and desert is beautiful. There’s abandoned train track hiking close by! Staff is super nice and friendly.

Hiking in the Nude? Yes please!
DeAnza Springs Resort - Tent/Van
My husband and I had such an inviting experience here! Neither one of us have ever experienced a nude community before but we felt comfortable enough to join the fun! Highly recommend spending your time here naked & happy! Unbeknownst to us, there was a small music festival happening at the time our trip. It wasn’t terrible, but only because I found us earplugs to use when we went to sleep. Definitely ask about any events that may be happening when you book your trip! We also had our two dogs and their enclosed dog park was perfectly equipped with a water hose, toys, and lots of play room. When hiking be on the look out for snakes and cacti too! You’ll mark this off your bucket list without even knowing it was on there to begin with!

The surrounding landscape is beautiful and the camp sites are decent. The rest of the place is dated. When we checked in, they had signs saying to wear masks indoors. Kim, the woman that checked us in, was not wearing a mask (we were) she had attitude when she saw us wearing ours. When I said something, she said she doesn’t do that. I was grateful that we are fully vaccinated, because of people like her not taking basic precautions. Based on the name of the place, we thought they had natural spring pools. Not. Which is what we were seeking. This taught me that I need to do more research before reserving. They have a good size fenced dog area. Several hiking trails and we made the best of our time there.

DeAnza Springs Resort - Tent/Van
Place was fun but was a little run down. Would of been much more fun in spring when the weather was not so cold. Other then that it was enjoyable and would go back sometime.

It’s a very laid back kind of vibe it wasn’t super busy wich was nice the fellow guests were pleasant we went on a couple of hikes all and all it was nice .

DeAnza Springs Resort - Tent/Van
This is a clothing optional community that is super kind and welcoming to people coming to stay here. There are all kinds of things you can do from hiking, swimming, tanning, working out in the gym, or just hanging out at the bar. I came here solo to get away and spend some time reconnecting back with nature and myself. The hiking is incredible. They have the best hiking trails in San Diego country for sure!! The people here are so fun to hang out with too, coming here will definitely refresh you and leave you wishing you never had to leave!

DeAnza Springs Resort - Tent/Van
DeAnza Springs Resort is a hidden gem just over an hour outside of San Diego. My girlfriend and I wanted to test out my new camping tent, but we only had a day and night to get anywhere. We chose DeAnza for their amenities, proximity to great hikes (you start the trail here for the Carrizo Gorge Trestle) and most importantly, super dog friendly! Which is huge because we have an 80 pound pitbull. Couple things to note - Check in is before 4 pm, the resort is clothing optional (which we didn't partake in) and there is a lovely community that lives there year-round. Nobody insists that you run around naked but this is a definite NO judgement zone which adds to the charm of the resort and we hope this never changes. Gary and his staff are beyond accommodating and made extra sure my girlfriend and I felt very welcome. Gary runs a great recreation/activities program on the grounds - so definitely inquire and see what is planned when you stay. We spent our Saturday kareoking and hanging with a great bunch at the bar. Make sure you go say hi to Kellie the bartender. *Tip - pack a towel because everybody heads out to the 24 hour jacuzzi and heated pool area for a late night dip. I could go on and on about our time at DeAnza Springs Resort but this is a place you should really explore yourself. My girlfriend and I are already planning our trip back.
