The staff were very helpful and polite. I only wish they would mention on their website they no longer provide fire rings. You will have to bring your own if you want to have a fire. The pool was clean and everyone seemed happy to be there. Note to self. We will make sure to place our RV the farthest point possible away from the road. We could hear cars whizzing by at night.

We recently stayed here for a camping trip, and while the setup seems great for RVs, tent camping definitely felt like an afterthought. The tent sites were, what felt like, on a dirt parking lot and they were separated only by a line of rocks, which meant neighbors were right next to us. This left very little privacy and no real safe space for kids to run around. Another big disappointment was the lack of fire pits—neither the tent sites nor the common areas had one available. Not being able to make s’mores around a campfire took away a lot of the traditional camping experience we were hoping for. On top of that, our tent site was only about 10 yards from a highway, making it incredibly loud throughout the day and night. We had planned to stay two nights, but between the dirt, the closeness of the neighboring sites, and the constant traffic noise, we decided to leave after just one night. On the positive side, the pool was a nice bonus and gave the kids a fun place to play. However, the playground felt a bit run down, and the common lodge was dated and in need of some upgrades. Overall, I think this could be a good spot for RV campers, but if you’re planning on tent camping with kids, it may not be the most comfortable or family-friendly option.

This was a pricey spot for tent camping and the first ever campground I’ve visited that did not have a fire pit provided, I see after the fact that no wood fires were noted in the details. I had a malfunctioning propane stove and I made a small fire to heat up my dinner by placing rocks around in a small circle to contain it, I had put it out as it was too windy to keep going and I was made, by staff, to douse it more with water. If the fire was lit it would have been made to put out. The next morning I was quite hungry and had to pack up to leave so I could go out to eat.

I had booked a camping spot for tent! When I arrived it was taken because it’s a holiday weekend but to my surprise I got a members pass and oh boy was awesome, not only I got 2 swim pools but live bands and amazing people around the staffs were great and hospitality, I’m going back again! Everything is amazing the area, the views and friendly people 🥰

The area was lovely, however they advertised it as "kid friendly" which we didn't really find to tbe the case. The pool was great, but it was too hot to really hang out at the playground. At bingo we were promised either a movie night or game night for the kids on their deck if the AC in the building wasn't working. Neither happened, and no one was notified. The Wifi they advertise and we paid for did not work at all, even for text messages. Ironically the Starlink wifi seemed to work a bit better, and was free! The store sold burnt pizza and our chicken tenders that took about an hour. We drove up near Lake Berryessa to get some other food. The other guests were wonderful and very kind, so kudos to them! 50/50 on whether or not we will return.

We camped at Canyon Creek for a relaxing little getaway. The setting was peaceful, and the small on-site store was a nice surprise we even found these fun, colorful drinks that added fun vibes. We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub was out of service, since that was one of the main reasons we booked. The pool was a nice backup, though it could use a debris catcher to keep it cleaner. The Wi-Fi worked for basic browsing, but not for streaming. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would go back just better prepared next time.

As soon as I entered, we were not welcomed, it feels like they want a specific type of people. Not a pleasant environment. Seems they are x military with exact army rule. Too much control, I have w toof top tent and it pops up on top of my minivan they said no rooftop tent which I have it for many years on my minivan.

Camping with pool and creek

The campsite is good. I’m grateful we had access to the pool, the creek is right next to the campsite, which is amazing if you like to sleep with water sounds. There is just one table, and one water access (hose) for all the campsites. I think that the price is okay just because it has the pool, otherwise is a bit expensive. They mention they will improve the campsites in the next month. I’ll be happy to go back.

Rundown and the people working at the store, but were crazy unfriendly and the prices were very high. The resort staff are super nice super friendly but the store people weren’t. not worth 120 a day.

Sites were so tight, not kept up, and burrs everywhere. Our dogs were covered with burrs. We couldn’t put our awning out because we barely fit in our space and it would have been hit by trailers coming by. The pool was cloudy from all the people. The place is pretty run down but friendly staff. The creek was nice, kids liked the playground. For a membership campground I expected things to be more well kept. We won’t be coming back again but it wasn’t terrible, just wasn’t for us. No cell service, no sewer, not enough to do in the area.

We camped here for two nights while our pup had an appointment at UC Davis Veterinary Hospital. There was a bit of confusion on where to put us when we got there but the security guard, Brendan, was extremely friendly and helpful ( Boomer Sooner! 😜). This spot is beautiful, serene, and quiet. Highly recommend it.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The campsite is beautiful. Lots things to do. You can also explore the area. If I have to say one thing negative, that will be the cell signal/ reception. You cant event call 911 if you needed to.

We loved the location right next to the creek and will definitely be back. The resort is nice and decently maintained and the staff was nice and helpful at check-in. A few things to know: The resort is definitely mainly for RVs and the tent sites are just on the lawn. That means you don't have a fire pit, individual picnic table or BBQ. There is one picnic table for all the tent sites. You'll have to walk a bit to access running water or your car (it needs to be parked outside the gate). We knew this based on other reviews so we were prepared.

Not a real camp site

This place isn't real a campground. The site was on a piece of lawn that had chalk lines that were roughly the size of parking space with no space between one site and the site on either side. There was no fire pit but we were told we could rent one for $10, no picnic table, if there was it would have taken 3/4 of the space alotted for the site (no exaggeration) . If we had stayed we would have had to park about 50 yard from the camping spaces and packed everything to the psuedo site and then move our vehicle to a different part of the resort. The whole thing was very unfortunate because the area is so beautiful with some really great fishing. This in an RV resort so if you are trying to camp here do not waste your time or money

Resort Camping, I'm into it!

Not your "normal" tent camp experience and we're good with that. We weren't sure what to expect as images for the tent sites were limited but honestly we were happy to pitch our tent on a lawn as it made for a more comfortable base. Not having a bear box and designated picnic table was weird but the communal space was empty as there was only 1 other tent camper so it worked out. We got to swim, ride bikes, play on the playground, did pizza one night, roasted marshmallows in the community fire pit, enjoyed the huge law tossing the football around. Restrooms weren't far and kept clean, showers were nice and water gets HOT! Game room was an added bonus as was the evening karaoke. Parking was FULL but the hubby managed that. Check in was seamless. We had fun and would totally come back.

Beautiful scenery and nice folks to greet us however folks should know that HipCamp’rs are limited to less desirable pull through no view and no shade sites regardless of availability of other more desirable spots. I was told all other sites are reserved for members regardless if they were booked or not. Also, the wasps were atrocious; bring traps or plan on eating/cooking under cover.

Canyon creek is so beautiful! I booked last minute and I was impressed in how accommodating and friendly the staff was to me. The property sits on a beautiful and serene river, we loved it. My husband and I enjoyed cooling off from the heat in the clubhouse and trying their wood fire pizzas. It is really hot this time of year so come prepared.
