Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Nestled in Modoc County in Northeastern California, this 1.25 acre lot is located in California Pines, a residential subdivision in the mountains, this district is divided into two, the Lake District and the Hill District. Great access, from a paved road to two dirt roads and you are on the property! Fires only in winter months (Plenty of deadwood on the ground) Close to fishing, camping, hiking and much more! Campers must bring everything needed including toilet and water to this raw land … A few great flat spots for tent camping and many trees for hammock tents. 4x4 recommended in winter months may even need snow tracks and or snowmobile for access in deep snow. 45 minutes to Alturas CA where all modern amenities are located.The entire 1.25 Acres is available for your enjoyment. Be mindful of some of the rocks on the road into the property. Plenty of space to park. The entire CalPines development is available on your Maps. Rainbow Pond is a must visit if you like fishing or just relaxing to the sounds of flowing water coming out of the hillsides naturally. Alturas is 45 minutes away where all amenities can be found.
