It’s a peaceful spacious field in a hidden valley accessible only by a super cool tunnel , lots of horse and farms , very nice !!! Jenna and Colton were very friendly and helpful and their cat is even overly friendly 😁 . THANKS GUYS !!! I stayed 5 nights

A charming, no frills residential space, surrounded by goats, chickens, cows, burros, and horses. If you’re not used to a farm, the various animal noises can suprimes you.
The space is geared more for RV life - as a tent camper, I had to fend outside for personal needs. It’s a little awkward being in a residential area. Not a deal breaker, just something to notice.
It’s hot outside in the summer. The host and her family were congenial and standing by to offer any assistance.

We loved being around all the goats and chickens and horses and donkeys - plus dogs and cats of course. Plus our early morning hikes into the national forest - just a five minute walk away! And our hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating of our needs.

We had a wonderful time! Jenna and Cody were very welcoming and helpful! My kids fell in love with her horses and donkey, and were delighted to help with chores. They gave us a dozen fresh eggs from their chickens, and were kind enough to let my kids collect a few more on their own.

Nice stop on our trip, hosts were great. It’s a hip camp so not all amenities that you would find in a regular RV park. The location is in a neighborhood surrounding a now defunct dairy, so the pastures have horses, burros, chickens etc. It’s like a farm experience in a small spaced neighborhood. A little in the dry dusty side but kind of typical in Arizona

Jenna and her husband were AMAZING! They were more than hospitable, lovely and very helpful. The spot they had for us was easily accessible, had a hose for water and an electrical cord for our electric needs. We had eggs brought to us by their adorable little boy and they opened their hearts and made us feel at home. This was my first Hipcamp experience and because of them I will definitely use Hipcamp again. If you are looking to go to Sedona or the surrounding area and want a nice economical alternative to regular camping you would be at a loss to find a better place to stay. Their little farm has animals and there neighbors have animals as well. Even the goats, donkey and dogs were friendly and fun. They definitely made us feel like family and are down to earth, folks.

Really enjoyed the stay at Jenna’s. Her and her family are very nice and responsive but also give you plenty of “space”. They supplied a power cord with a 30 amp adapter already and a water line which was super appreciated. She even shared a dozen fresh eggs from her chickens with us and they were delicious. Their animals were some of the friendliest I’ve met (and I work on a farm)! The location was a bit more of a “neighborhood” (rural neighborhood but still neighborhood) than I expected but it was serene and chill and everyone still had plenty of elbow room. Couldn’t stop laughing at the morning “concert” of roosters, donkeys, cows, and dogs all making their voices heard. Was about 30-40 min from the heart of downtown Sedona. The drive was always so beautiful though so it never felt like a chore to go to town. Would definitely stay again.

Very lovely!
Was super fun to sit and enjoy the afternoon and next morning watching the animals wander and play around.
Host Jenna was very accommodating and so lovely to chat with.
Her son gifted us with 5 eggs he had gathered from the chicken coop - soooo yummy!!

We had a fabulous time while staying at High Desert Ranch in the quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. We especially loved all of the animals. Jenna is an amazing host, and we will definitely stay with her again. Thank you again for everything Jenna! We highly recommend High Desert Ranch.

Wow what a lovely place!
Jenna was very friendly, welcomed us and showed us around the small farm
Our kids got to feed the donkey, chickens horses and more and loved it!
We also got fresh supply of eggs every day from jenna's coop

Jenna’s farm is a fair ways down a dirt road, part of which is graded. If you go very slowly on the ungraded part, it’s no problem. The neighborhood felt very safe and at night, and quiet. During the day, a lot of dust was raised by passing vehicles. We found that it would wash off in the rain. Keeping windows closed during the day helped. Location was convenient to everything.

Had a wonderful stay..ended up booking a few more days than I had expected..Jenna is a wonderful hostess..small rural neighborhood with all the country noises..loved it..lots of room to walk my dog..neighbors waved all the time..plenty of room for my 35ft fifth wheel..would definitely come back.

Jenna was a great host. We called her in a panic when the campground we intended to stay was closed. It was nearly dinner time and she quickly booked us. What a relief. She helped us get some water for our tanks and showed us where to park. The space was generous and we liked being next to the barn. Finally, the next morning there was a knock on our door around 9:30 and she had a plate of homemade blueberry scones....which were amazing.

Jenna and her family were warmly welcoming. She thought of everything possible to make our stay pleasant. It was peaceful at night and the large variety of sweet farm animals were great to see. It’s very near Montezuma well, which is a great attraction!

This was an awesome place to stay! Jenna is super nice and very helpful. Highly recommend this spot if you’re wanting to hike, mountain bike or head into Sedona. It’s close to all. Will definitely stay here again!

This place is awesome! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights with our 16 foot travel trailer. It is in a great location to get into Sedona and do many hikes. The host, Jenna is also amazing. She will help you with anything that you need. Everyday she offered us fresh eggs from her chickens and often baked us some home goods. The horses and Donkey were also a highlight. Fairly priced and a great time. Highly Recommended!

Jenna was a very kind and generous host! My 4 year old loved the farm animals. We enjoyed being close to Sedona for hikes, and Jenna told us about a fabulous river hike close by that was so fun. Communication was clear and easy. The baked goodies and eggs were a total treat for us. Electricity and water hookup worked well. So grateful we made this stop!

Our hostess is what made this a good Hipcamp spot that is close to the highway. In a small farming community a couple miles from the highway, there are lots of horses, cows and other animals. The site was flat and she was so generous with offering us farm fresh eggs and made muffins for us. So thoughtful!

Jenna was an amazing host. We stayed in the field in our van camper and had plenty of privacy while still feeling safe. Beautiful Land!! Definitely recommend if you are exploring Sedona.

so fun being on a ranch! jenna and fam are the sweetest and so generous. if you’re an animal lover and want some time away from cities this is the place for ya! if not, there’s spots away from the animals and it’s close to the highway if you’re looking for somewhere to stop just for the night. jenna is flexible! one of my best and favorite camping experiences to date.

Jenna was able to accommodate us kind of last minute after we had difficulty finding a place to stay near Sedona and we were super grateful. This is a great place to stay a bit away from it all but still really convenient to check out both Cottonwood, Sedona and the lovely hikes and nature in the area. Bonus that you get to visit with her goats and she even hooked us up with vegan scones the next morning. Great stay, great host!

Jenna is a very nice host she goes out of her way to be available and she has good communication. She brought us homemade scones and fresh eggs. We got to see all of her farm animals, chickens, goats, horses dogs and a burro. Kids would love this place! Keep in mind that this is not an RV park and there are not developed parking spots. The RV site options are very rustic. You can dry camp in a large field next to her farm or have power and water up next to her house. We felt very safe here. The road out there was a little bumpy but we managed just fine with our travel trailer. Good location, close to Sedona and Cottonwood. Thanks Jenna!
