We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. We really appreciated being able to boondock at Grand Canyon Oasis. It was the perfect stop on our way home to CO. The views were beautiful, the location was super convenient, and on moonless nights the stars would be amazing. The facilities are fun and the hosts were very welcoming. One thing for anyone with pop up campers like we had, the Hwy is close and you do hear the road noise, so for light sleepers just take note. It wasn’t an issue at all for us and in full RVs or the tiny homes it’s probably not an issue either. I also appreciated how the property was set up as it felt very private, safe, and secure, despite being right off the hwy. Finally, while we didn’t have our dogs on this trip, they are pet friendly and working on a fenced dog area, which is a huge plus! I would definitely stay there again!

Great place! Shelley and Adam greeted us and showed us around and gave us all the info we needed. Adam is about to complete a large dog park on the property. Terrific lodge room w/kitchen, snacks, games ,TV, warm water restroom , ping pong, seating and a great family feel. Give these guys a shot. 5 stars!!

Stopped in for a quick overnighter. We were Boondocking so we didn’t use the amenities. The views of the snow cap peaks was beautiful from this location. Nice tiny house village. The owners were courteous and professional. Would definitely stay there again.

Stopped over for a night on a long trip and this was the perfect place to land after a day of driving. We wish we could have stayed longer! The park was adorable, easy to find, easy to park in, clean, and quiet. The stars were incredible! Hookups all worked excellent and the wifi worked flawlessly! We would definitely stay here again when passing through or for a few days to relax!

Overall, the space is really nice, and the host was communicative and helpful. It's tucked off the highway, so it's quiet. I appreciate the laid-back atmosphere and the offerings like bikes and a community room. Since there are no facilities like bathroom or shower, my suggestion would be to offer a price-adjusted stay for van campers who often don't have their own toilets and are just looking for a safe, quiet place to park for 10-12 hours and get some rest. Maybe it gets busier in the summer, but I was the only one in the boondocks space in December, and the only amenity I used was the well pump to fill a 5-gallon water tank. If I come through the area again and am looking to camp/hang out for a few days, I would absolutely return to this spot. It's close to national monuments and other outdoor explorations, and I appreciate the community atmosphere.

We loved this space. Access to the Coconino forest trails right from here was absolutely fantastic for us and our pup, and we loved the common room! Very cozy and comfortable. The views were lovely and the night sky view was stunning (very low light pollution here!)

Easy access in and out. Surprisingly quiet for proximity to highway. Parking spots are level. More than enough room. Great sunrise and lots of stars. Grand Canyon is an easy 90 minute drive in the morning.

Desert Oasis was a perfect start to our adventure. The grounds were clean, Adam came out to check on us and answer some questions we had. Even though it is right off the freeway, the traffic noise was not overwhelming. They had a great rec area and plenty to do with young children.

There was something special about the GCO. Basics first: Adam was super friendly and a great host; the property is quiet and clean. There is some road noise, but I ran a fan for white noise and used ear plugs and got great sleep. The extras: the lodge is a great, eclectically decorated spot with sofas, a TV, pool table, among other cool items (nice space to have, especially when you're traveling in a van). The views from Desert View are unobstructed and amazing. Don't miss the show when the sun sets! It literally changes minute to minute. The night skies are amazing as well. I can see why this is hollowed ground in the Native American culture. Don't hesitate to stay here; I'll be back for sure when I'm back in that region.

Quiet, tiny RV park. We wanted a park where we could stay the night, then continue on to our final spot. This park was our half way point. The cost was $40 for an no services boondocking spot. You park on small cinder rocks and unfortunately it was very unlevel and very difficult to use the auto levelers. Make sure you have blocks/risers as you will need them. I would not recommend trying to set up in the dark due to the unlevel ground. I do think $40 for no services and unlevel spot is kind of steep. If it would have been a cement pad, I think the $40 would have been ok.

The perfect location for seeing the two local national monuments nearby. The FHU site had beautiful views of the Painted Desert in the distance. Communication from the owners before and during my stay was very helpful. Dark and quiet at night. Easy access, optional amenities. I'll be back.
