Red Rock Farm is a peaceful retreat where guests feel at home amidst nature. The hosts, Keith and Cathy, are praised for their hospitality and attention to detail, making the farm feel welcoming and well-maintained. Campers enjoy engaging with farm animals like goats and chickens, and appreciate thoughtful touches such as twinkling lights and playgrounds for kids. While the site offers tranquility away from highway noise, a few guests suggest bringing their own drinking water due to a strong smell from the well water.
Keith was very welcoming. The outhouse bathroom was extremely clean and pleasant. Keith lights up his property at night with twinkling lights. There are also lights to show the path to the bathroom. You are camping on a lawn, which is also very nice. All round, we really Loved our stay. We took a long walk right off his property on a beautiful gravel road as the sunset.
Stayed 2 nights in the trailer. The land is gorgeous and you can tell Keith and Cathy take great pride in it.
Got to meet their beautiful livestock guard Davey and had the opportunity to have him play with our dog while chatting with Keith.
The trailer was comfortable (hello real mattress!) With all the basics we could have possibly needed. It was great being able to rent their camping bbq so we didn't have to pack one with us, and the farm fresh eggs were divine.
We will happily recommend the property to friends and hope we can return again in the future.
Keith was super nice he has a really beautiful peaceful property. The eggs from his farm are some of the best I've ever had. He also gave me some cukes to snack on as well as some passes to the Ukranian cultural center. Will definitely be back! Thanks Keith!
Beautiful place to camp. The camping areas are landscaped beautifully. Keith was very helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had. The kids loved the trampoline and animals.
Red Rock Farm is a peaceful oasis, a slice of home away from home. It’s just far south enough from the highway to not hear the traffic.
The property is absolutely pristine, including the outhouse. You can tell Keith and his wife take great pride in making the area welcoming to guests. We don’t have children, but there is playground equipment, outdoor toys, a couple of bikes and a sandbox to keep the littles busy.
There are chickens, goats, sheep and Davey the gentle giant doggo! He was one of the highlights of our trip.
There is so much to explore on the property. It is beautifully decorated. There are little birdhouses, gnomes and various knickknacks hidden in the trees and the property.
We were there to work a festival nearby, so we didn’t have a lot of spare time, but there is the opportunity to do some gardening and gather eggs from the chickens.
We were in the 19 foot trailer which comes equipped with just about anything you can think of. It was a very comfortable stay.
We are really looking forward to returning when we can just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset!
The site was beautiful, well maintained. The porta potty was immaculate. The owners are lovely. And I heard an OWL
So cool. This place has chickens and sheep and goats and a lovely puppy
I enjoyed camping on Keith’s and his wife’s land! The lights at night looked really cool and they kindly provided me with firewood and kindling as well as green onions! Highly recommend!
LOVEEE the place!! Keith was very kind to set up a fire for me, and introduce me to the place!! Everything is so well set up and so beautiful. You can tell Keith really put alot of heart and thought into making this place a very memorable, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. I absolutely love the trinkets decorated around the property!!!
Great place for our family camp (7 adults and three children)! Wide open area and lovely area for tenting and playing games. Toys and playground was great for the wee ones.
The farm aspect was enjoyed by all. The hosts are very accommodating and pleasant people. Even supplied a few buckets of warm water for our makeshift shower. The fresh garden produce was a nice surprise!
Well water was fine for cocoa and tea but recommend your own drinking water otherwise.
Highly recommend camping here.
Turning into the laneway it looks tight going up to the house but it opens up beautifully to lots of space and a gorgeous lush lawn! We were greeted by Keith and given a quick tour around. Very nice place with goats and chickens and a huge garden to walk around. The loo was exceptionally clean! 😉 Would stay here again!
Great family farm camping. This is the second time I've stayed in Keith and Kathy's trailer at Red Rock Farm. Wr usually go to Elk Island for a day during our stay, but my preschooler is really happy to stay at the farm all day too. There are chickens and goats to feed; a trampoline, a metal swingset, and sandbox to play in; short trails full of interesting fungi in the trees to explore, it goes on. The trailer itself is comfy and has just about everything you need. I recommend bringing your own water for drinking. The well water has a strong rotten egg smell and I used it only for washing dishes and hands. Keith and Kathy are kind and friendly. My family will be back next summer.
Keith's campsites are beautifully landscaped, have twinkling solar lights in the trees at night, a large playground with a trampoline and a large but cozy fire pit area. Lots of room for kids to play and run.
It was just what we needed on our way home from a retreat. The farm fresh eggs was a nice touch. The farm is beautiful and you can tell the owners love living close to the Earth.
We really enjoyed our stay with Keith and Cathy on their beautiful acreage. They were the perfect hosts - friendly and accommodating yet respectful of our privacy. We parked our RV on a beautifully maintained, treed lawn. We were almost afraid to drive on it! The vegetable garden was impressive and the flower gardens/hanging baskets/planters gorgeous. We were 2 adults but if we'd of had kids along they would have been well amused on the trampoline, swing set and bikes available for their use. Not to mention getting to feed the chickens, goats, sheep and cats! Thank you Keith and Cathy!
Our camp at The Farm at RedRock Camp was thoroughly enjoyable. Host Keith instantly made us comfortable and gave particular attention to our needs and questions. We were instantly impressed with the wonderful environment, quiet and groomed to perfection. The thoughtful added touches made the time spent there Mornings and Evenings such a pleasure. All the best parts of camping, scene, peacefulness and convenience clearly a priority Keith takes for HipCamp guests. We will be back!
Couldn’t have hoped for any better Introductory HipCamp Experience!!
We camped for 2 nights at Red Rock Farm and it was really a pleasant change for us!
Red Rock Farm is different from your typical Banff/Jasper/Lake Louise National Parks where there are tons of people. Here you go to truly relax and simply enjoy nature! — tons of me time for you if you want solitude. Keith and his wife, Cathy were both amazing hosts!
We Loved staying at Redrock farm and we'll surely be back again with our friends! this is our first camp with our baby and we're so glad it went well for us! our little boy loves the farm animals so much! me & my husband fell inlove with the beauty of the place. it was a relaxing weekend. we got lucky and had a chance to glimpse the Northern lights in the farm for the very first time. keith was so kind & accomodating to our needs. he showed us his barnyarn animals and literally my son is so happy that he's still looking for the chickens when we got home haha. and ofcourse, THE FARM FRESH EGGS! Its so good that we got ourselves more to take home. this is a perfect place to spend quality time with your loveones and be really connected. better than Disneyland! thank you again Redrockfarm & Keith for this wonderful experience 😊
I loved staying in Keith's RV on the farm. Keith and his wife were warm and hospitable. They helped us get settled and showed us how to work things in the RV. I really appreciated the way Keith balanced inviting us to get to know the animals with giving us lots of space to enjoy the property on our own.
The RV was warm and cozy despite the cold overnight temperatures. It was well-appointed and we had everything we needed. Due to the sub-zero temps, the water wasn't hooked up in the trailer, but the farm has two clean outhouses and Keith gave us some water for inside the trailer.
The farm itself was beautiful and the prairie-sky sunsets were breath-taking. There's a swingset for kids. The property was still quite snowy, but Keith had ploughed walking paths throughout the grounds and garden.
I can't wait to come back this summer with my family.
Redrock exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and well maintained. They had lots of tame farm animals to visit. The kids loved playing on the trampoline and with all the toys. Keith and Cathy are friendly and totally chill. We stayed 3 nights in their 19 ft trailer offered through the farm stay booking option and it was very clean and well stocked. We had a wonderful time. We will be back. Ear scratched to Bug & Pea!
The farm is very quaint and quiet tucked away and secluded . Great place to spend a night or three and the farm fresh eggs were the best I've tasted . Our Hosts we're eager to help with anything and as friendly as can be
