Nestled in the foothills of north Alabama, our ranch is a beautiful, sprawling 300 acres of mixed pasture and woods with gorgeous Sullivan Creek weaving in-and-out of its boundaries. Owned by an elderly rancher before us, it was slowly falling into disrepair and he was hoping to find someone with the passion and work ethic to reclaim its natural beauty and continue to raise cattle. I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I bought the property in 2016, and began transforming it into a well-laid-out ranch with an intense focus on small-batch, high quality beef. The ranch is still a work in progress. I continue to explore new ways to manage soil health, year-round forage, and herd expansion through sustainment practices. With the support of trusted advisors, I’m intently focused on methods to raise healthy animals and produce exceptional beef, with full transparency.

    Retreat on Sullivan Creek Ranch
    What a DREAM!! A beautiful working farm with horses, cows and a friendly host dog "Buck". :) There was space for larger RVs near the entrance, but my husband and I ventured deeper into the property and stayed at the site next to the pond. (We have a 22' travel trailer). So secluded!! My husband fished, I read and we hiked several of Emily's trail systems down to the creeks and waded for a while. Our dog loved the freedom, water and hiking. While we enjoyed the peace and quiet without kiddos, we talked the whole time about how much they would love it there! Greg & Emily are so kind, and gave us complete privacy unless we needed something. Would absolutely recommend this place if you need to unplug and relax!

    Primitive Camping-Beautiful Land
    Retreat on Sullivan Creek Ranch
    My 9 year old son and I went primitive camping at Sullivan Creek Ranch. Greg and Emily were great hosts and provided us with a map of the property, welcome bag and a ride to our campsite via four-wheeler. Thinking ranch, I expected grassy fields bordered by dense forest. Instead I found a deep ravine with clear running water, rock walls about 50 feet high and complete solitude. We set up our tent on flat sandstone and in our little clearing we could see a lot of stars as there is very little light pollution in the area. We were very happy with the experience and will certainly book again. It was also very comforting to know that I was on private property with responsible caretakers with no need to worry about strangers stumbling across our camp. As an added bonus we got to hike the ranch as well and my son loved getting close to the horses. Great trip! Really cool ranch and good people running the show.
