Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Cost is related to accomadations for both the destination spot AND the on-site (2024 Airstream classic 33FB-can also see images on RVshare or we are happy to send them). However, standard rates for this area would apply should we approve your request to bring your own camping needs. Spacious property and former home site on beautiful Lake Tuscaloosa. Full hookups, including sewer and water, as well as lakefront access, fire pits, a boat dock, and various seating areas. There is a public boat launch just down the road, along with lakefront restaurants and boat rental establishments nearby. At this time, we are allowing guests to stay in our RV on-site. However, we can also accommodate tents if more space is needed, as well as smaller RVs that can use 30-amp hookups. This property is nestled within a quiet, cozy neighborhood on beautiful Lake Tuscaloosa. Come stay in our modern class A onsite RV. Can also accommodate tent camping on property as well with notice. Also, could accommodate smaller rv’s or sleeper vans upon approval. Being in a neighborhood this site is more appropriate for the “less rambunctious” crowd and more family oriented. Reasonable quiet hours will be necessary given the circumstances. The site has 50 and 30 amp hookups, water and sewer. It has plenty of room for the children to play and is gated in the front. There are several fire pits and different areas to sit and enjoy the property. There is a large outside table and Kamoto Joe grill for your outside dining enjoyment. The path to the lake is somewhat rustic (stone steps with rope rails) but is easily walkable if one has no physical issues that would be prohibitive. There is a deck on the water also with seating and a grill. One can swim and float right off the dock in the beautiful clear waters of Lake Tuscaloosa. The children would be able to catch small bream right off the dock. Obviously adult supervision of minors is a must. Currently there is still some minor construction and clean up in progress but this will not limit your experience. This is related to the installation of an outside bathroom/washroom and shower. At this time however campers need to be self contained. This is a great spot for fall camping, football games and watching the leaves turn on the lake. It is an obvious “goldmine” in the spring and summer especially if you have your own boat or pwc. There is a small boat launch in the neighborhood but we would recommend the public boat launch just a couple of miles down the road (Binion Creek landing park). There are also good restaurants, convenience and grocery stores, as well as a hardware store and Dollar General right down the road.
