Nestled amid the rolling green pastures of bucolic Kerhonkson, NY, Camp Nevva Evva centers around a spacious 16'x20' safari tent, equipped with many of life’s creature comforts, with a view of the Shawangunks. Think of a stay at Camp Nevva Evva as the best of both worlds: the core thrills of a camp stay—grilling over an open fire, a night under starry skies with low light pollution—plus added luxuries like electricity, bathing facilities, and gourmet food. What’s more, there’s a storybook-load of local attractions just minutes away: Ravenwood, Westwind Orchard, Arrowood Farms, Accord Market, Saunderskill Market, Mill & Main, The Flying Goose Tavern, Bluebird Wine, and SkateTime, along with the club and resort, INNESS, known for its dining, golf, tennis, and spa. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate being within 15 minutes of thousands of protected acres and hiking trails at Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Vernooy Kill State Forest, and the Ashokan Reservoir Promenade. Exploring neighboring destination towns is easy, with convenient access to Stone Ridge, High Falls, New Paltz, Kingston, and Woodstock. All this—and just 75 miles to the George Washington Bridge in NYC!Camp Nevva Evva's Master Suite is located minutes away from Route 209 in a 5000-square-foot clearing carved from the hillside and covered with sloping lawn. Guests are welcome to wander the gravel pathways, as well neighboring hills, ravines and marshland. While The Master Suite is close to several neighboring homes, guests will have the entire 9-acre site to themselves, and often the only sounds you'll hear are birdsong or the occasional rooster. The Master Suite offers a fire pit, picnic tables, plus cushioned lounge chairs ideally situated to watch the stars after sundown. A kitchen area with barbecue grill adjacent to the fire pit plus cookware and cutlery (stored in tent) offer easy meal prep. The tent features a queen-sized bed, cot and single futon for additional sleeping accommodations. Enjoy meals seated by the fire or on the porch, which is equipped with a dining table, lounge furniture and glass-topped coffee table. The composting toilet is located on its own enclosed deck beside the tent, along with a hot/cold shower and private changing area. There are no hookups at this site, but potable water is available in the tent and kitchen areas. Fresh linens are provided at the start of your stay, as well as towels and kitchen cloths for cleanup.
