My boyfriend & I stayed here for a weekend mid August. We had no issues finding the property and ran into no issues while staying here! Although we are pretty avid backpackers and enjoy our privacy VERY MUCH; we thoroughly enjoyed this space. Even considering the prior mixed reviews from fellow Hipcampers. Your site is long, skinny, & directly touches the lake! The deck down to the water is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL (although, not ideal for those w/disabilities). The water was MAGICAL at dawn/dusk, & we saw plenty of wildlife. The 2 included kayaks + paddle board was a nice touch for the price we paid. There is also a shed with electricity on the property, where you will find a fridge, lifejackets, and fishing poles. You can also charge anything you may need during your trip in here as well! If you are on the fence, I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try & check it out! We will 100% be back in the near future! Thanks for creating such a nice space to be outdoors & for making this a very reasonable price to get people to try out camping!
Please Note: There is one neighbor on your left that is rather close. You will not have much privacy during the day, as your camping space is pretty much "out in the open". The best way to describe this site is like staying at a Michigan State Park Campground. Going in, if you know what to expect - then you will NOT be disappointed! I promise you!

This was a decent spot. There was no address on the shed like the listing says so i wasn't totally sure i was in the right spot but i camped anyway. The view of the lake is nice. It's pretty close to the neighbor though. The ground is very uneven if you have a camper or van.
Cute little parcel on the water, close by Silver lake dunes, some cute tourist stops, and lake Michigan. Quiet and calm, clean water with nice amenities. Our kids had a blast running around and playing. One of the adults went out on the kayak and caught and released a few fish. We were happy we brought multiple kinds of bug protection. Had a great relaxing weekend at a cute and simple site.
A quiet spot not far off the Lake Michigan coast, centrally located and a fair price for those of us with camper vans who don’t need a hookup, don’t want to be on top of our neighbors in a state campground and want some peace and quiet (on a nice small lake; lots of soothing birdsong in the AM). But the pics don’t show the house right next door and the bugs were annoying in the trees. Pro-tip: spend time on the dock enjoying the evening water where the dragonflies keep the bugs at bay!
Great spot! Site is well maintained and has thoughtful touches. We loved our stay. The lake is beautiful and relaxing and we had fun with the kayaks and paddle board. We brought our dogs and they had lots of fun swimming. The neighbors also have dogs in a fenced area nearby the deck and dog. They did bark a bit at ours, but it wasn’t excessive.
