This was my first time booking Grove Point, and using Hipcamp. What an amazing inaugural trip! Eagle's Nest was the perfect location on the water, and I appreciate how secluded it was. The directions to the actual site were very clear and easy to follow. The sunset was incredible and I enjoyed swimming although the beach is mostly rocky. The birdwatching was great too, I will definitely return to this spot.

We had a great overnight stay at The Crows Nest! We couldn’t stop remarking about how calm, quiet, and peaceful it all was. Elizabeth also came to our rescue the next morning when my car battery died, so very grateful for the stay and the hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at The Crow's Nest! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset—the views over the water are peaceful and unforgettable. This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and disconnect from the busy world.
One of the things we loved most was how private and secluded the campsite felt. It was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it easy to truly unwind.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place with us. We hope to come back again!

This spot is nicely tucked away and very cozy. The views are amazing. The signs for navigating the back of the property were easy to follow. If you enjoy birdwatching or fishing, this is an amazing place to stay.

The bald eagles like us
This was my first time staying here, and it definitely won’t be my last. Grove Point is such a peaceful and beautiful place to camp. There are plenty of trees that provide great shade, making it a comfortable spot to relax during the day. One of my favorite parts was being able to fish right by the campsite it was so convenient, and there were plenty of fish around.
The whole atmosphere was relaxing. Whether you’re sitting by a campfire at night, lounging in a hammock, or just enjoying the scenery , it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The property is well cared for, quiet, and has a really welcoming feel.
Elizabeth was also an amazing host. She was very responsive, helpful with directions, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.
Overall, this has become one of my favorite camping spots. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery, great fishing, and a relaxing place to spend time outdoors, I highly recommend staying here. I had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back.
The most perfect camping spot for anyone who enjoys the water and quiet. Elizabeth came for a visit the morning after I arrived and was so kind and friendly. She gave me a bundle of fresh picked sunflowers! As a solo adventurer I felt very safe at this location. There is a small boat ramp on the property that I was able to put my paddle board in every day. I got to watch the tide come in and out from the Bay. The fish jumped every morning and night. There were Bald Eagles across from me and I even had a visit from a Great Horned Owl. It was the perfect amount of sun and shade as well as a fantastic breeze. The sunsets were unbelievable! I highly recommend this spot. I will be back for sure.

Beautiful site with amazing sunsets! It felt very private and was a great place to relax. Every now and then we’d see people riding horses, which added to the charm of the area. The host was quick to respond to messages and was easy to communicate with.
A couple of things to be aware of: there were some thorny plants around the site, so just be mindful if you have kids or pets. We could also hear a generator or motor running from another site, and it was most noticeable at night.
Other than that, we had a nice stay and would definitely recommend this site to others.

Overall, this is a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere and one of the most incredible sunsets we have seen. The campsite feels very private and secluded — you cannot see the neighboring campsites from this spot. The other campsites are located a bit farther away, although if there is a large group nearby, you may still hear some noise. Overall, the location feels peaceful and separate from others.
We came here hoping to do some fishing, but unfortunately, the weather was extremely hot during our stay, and the fish were not very active, so we didn’t have much luck. The lake does have noticeable tides and water level changes.
For swimming, the lake is not the best option because the bottom is very muddy. However, the natural surroundings, privacy, and overall vibe of the place make it a wonderful camping destination.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

This site was beautiful and just what we were looking for! If you hammock camp, site is perfect for hanging. Plenty of flat cleared ground for tents too. We will definitely be coming back! Fishing and kayaking right from site was perfect.

The Eagle’s Nest was the perfect place for a camping family reunion! The boat ramp gave us easy access to the water, there was plenty of space for cars and tents, and the sunsets were beautiful. The water was perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. The water tap and bathroom is about five minutes back the way you came so we recommend bringing water jugs to the camp so you don’t have to go back and forth as frequently. Highly recommend this site for your next camping trip!
This place is incredible, it is exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for when I found this app. The view is phenomenal you're nearly surrounded by a view of the water. It was quiet and secluded. The snakes at the waters edge were fun to watch.
Mosquito repellent would be wise.
Probably one of the prettiest if not the prettiest Hip Camp spots we’ve ever stayed at. Not only were the views gorgeous, but it was quiet and secluded. Don’t make the mistake we made and forget the bathroom is at the farm which is not super close. Other than that I cannot say enough good things about this spot. Oh and bring some binoculars, because the bird watching was amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Instructions were clear and we had a great time! Never saw anyone after making it in, beautiful and peaceful. Access to the water near the campsite for fishing is quite a hill, but there’s other ways to get down

We car camped on Elizabeth’s land and it was so nice! It’s a little windy and chilly this time of year but nothing some layers and sleeping bags can’t fix. We woke up to see the horses and chickens and turkeys and cats and dogs! So, so lovely!
The bathroom is a little easy to miss and a little dirty but nothing bad. 8/10 would recommend!

* The campsite is exactly as described, offering a very pretty and picturesque setting. We were thrilled to see bald eagles every day during our stay. The hosts were incredibly nice and friendly, providing helpful directions. While the site is generally secluded, there are nearby campsites. However, we were unable to locate the hand pump for freshwater near the boat launch, as mentioned in the listing, and ended up filling our water at the barn instead. Really enjoyed our stay!
