We are a small 5 acre farmstead located on the beautiful Hamakua Coast. Our farm is home to a variety of animals and boasts numerous fruit trees. One of our proudest offerings is our free range chickens produce high-quality eggs. You can purchase these delicious eggs right here at the farm to enjoy for your breakfast. In addition to our chicken operation, we are also proud coffee producers. Our coffee is carefully grown and harvested on-site, ensuring a rich and flavorful cup every time. But coffee isn't the only thing we grow here. Our farm is also home to a diverse selection of fruit trees, including Jack fruit, Lychee, Longans, Avocados, Bananas, and Tangerines. When you visit our farm, you'll have the opportunity to relax and unwind in our main hangout Pavilion. This cozy space is the perfect spot to rest, soak in the peaceful surroundings, and truly appreciate the beauty of the farm. However, it's important to note that the Hamakua Coast is known for its lively rooster population. So, while you'll have a serene and tranquil environment during the day, be prepared for the sounds of roosters greeting the morning. One of the highlights of our farm is the stunning waterfall located near the property. Guests are welcome to hike down to this natural wonder and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear swimming holes. It's an experience you won't want to miss. For your convenience, we offer an outdoor shower and a flushing toilet for our campers. We understand that comfort and cleanliness are important, even when enjoying the great outdoors. Nature Retreat Campsite

Nice farm, lack of communication.

Overall the camp site was nice, very guest friendly with clean toilet, beautiful warm outdoor shower and an outdoor lanai covered with roof for rainy days. I loved this little farm. You have to hike down steep hill to get to the waterfall. Beware of booking extra services from this host! I ordered dozen eggs for $10 and I never got them, and I never received a refund. Host is difficult to communicate with does not always answer text messages. We got lost on the way there and we could not reach the host until the next morning, eventually we did find the property. In general if you don’t have to communicate with the host it’s a nice farm to camp at.

Crooked and muddy

We are quite disappointed by our stay there. The area is very crooked and it is hard to find an even spot for the tent. Also there is only few gras. Mainly there is dirt and mud. They try to catch you with the beautiful pictures of nature pools and waterfalls. But they are not on the property. No explanation how to get there. The trail which starts there is steep, muddy and dangerous. The host didn’t check on uns even once and didn’t even respond to my messages! Not hospitable at all. The little shed with the couch and the shower were quite nice though. The kitchen is not well equipped and the stove had no gas.

Disappointed

We arrived during a heavy rain, the ground keeper was super friendly, however the ground was so saturated that it was impossible to find anywhere to park or set up a tent. We were told the running water to the toilet was not working and the path down to the stream was a work in progress. The pavilion was dry but had no ambiance and was in dire need of cleaning. We left and found accommodations elsewhere. The description on hip camp was misleading.

Delightful Sunrise and Bonus Cat

Great open air living room and a fun place to camp. We biked in and the last hill was a killer, but the sunrise and the stars made up for it. Getting to say hi to the cows and cat was a treat. The outdoor shower is delightful. Plenty of spots to set up a tent, but you might want a couple of smaller tents to wiggle into the flat spots. I can’t wait to see it again after they finish their trail improvements! All told it was a really great spot to stay.

Nature Retreat Campsite

We arrived to the spot that hip camp listed the address to at around 8:30pm. The host prior said that a night check in was ok. Hip camp took us to the wrong location and we had no service. Luckily driving around the neighborhood we found the street listed and the gate that we were to park outside of. We arrive and walk in the gate and there is no signage or anything on where to camp. We hear people talking so I go up to them and scare them on accident as I was just asking where to camp. They had no idea about Hipcamp or that we were coming. As soon as I mention the hosts name they seem to understand. They were very nice and awesome people!! Thank god they were so nice to us strangers on the property at night!! We ended up camping just at a flat spot near the gate. I guess we could have made better contact with the host but we didn’t know we wouldn’t have service. I’m sure it was just a miscommunication but could have been easily avoided with proper signage.
