RileyCrest Farm

Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54.  We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 100 dairy goats,  a horse named Willow, a couple pigs, small flock of chickens for eggs. 

We specialize in dairy goats, 100 grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. They are milked twice a day in a parlor.  You are welcome to watch.  The milk gets picked up twice a week  by Saputo and gets made into cheese!  We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around.  Boats available.   Swimming  not recommended at this time. Primitive tent and camper sites available.   We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock.   Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. We can accommodate larger groups. You can book the whole site for private setting too.   Welcome to the  farm!

Adjacent to Buckhorn State Park which is 6,990-acre Wisconsin state park southeast of Necedah. The park occupies a peninsula on Castle Rock Lake, a reservoir formed at the confluence of the Wisconsin and Yellow Rivers. Almost 5 acres of mixed oak-pine woods with sandy, fertile soil.

The best secluded rustic camping with sky-scraping pines, amazing wildlife, and abundant plant life including wild raspberries on almost 5 acres. The whippoorwills sing at night. Nature's beauty at its finest. 

A short walk to the lake (.5 mile away) or bring your own boat or paddle boards and cruise out on Castle Rock Lake from a public launch nearby.  Cute beach at Buckhorn Boat Landing for picnic and swimming.

Please PACK OUT anything you bring with you.  Fines will be assessed for trash left.

Fireworks are not allowed.  No trash in the fire pit.

Bear Hill

Welcome to Bear Hill                                                                                        There is the Love Shack 15ft by 32ft park model camper Site #2

Just add  LULU 5th wheel one slide out on site#2 (the Jayco is gone)  

 Bear Hill is a pet friendly fenced in three acre get away, minutes away from Wisconsin Dells and the Upper Wisconsin River. There is a park model camper at $125 night sleeps 2-4 adults/ 2-3 kids.

Tents are available for $20/ night extra with the rental your kids of any age can tent it But PLEASE bring your own sleeping things and relaxing. Let us help you explore the river from a boat or we have 2 kayaks and (1) 2/3 person canoe. Rent or bring your own and we will guide you to where you want to go. Enjoy campfires and grilling and games with family and friends. Feel free to enjoy the local night life as I offer a designated driver to get you home safe and worry free. This is where the road ends and the country begins. Dells River Cruise. we do accept credit cards.

 Property camping. We offer wood for your campfire charcoal and propane grilling.

FOR A LITTLE EXTRA FEE  you may be interested in asking Kevin about a couple Kayak's or the canoe we have. We can drop you off and pick you up at our favorite Swimming Hole. WE also have a boat Kevin can take you out on for an upper Completely Private owned Fenced in property Camp Ground.

The Hill Family Camping

The Hill is a private forested camp area that was originally made for a large group of friend's annual party.  Spanning 4 acres on top, there is space for campers including 30 amp plug-ins, tents, and has buildings on-site for groups if needed.  We also an add on of a simple rental glamper we call the Sugar Shack (listed as an Extra). The variety of trees, open space, and a group areas including fire pit, horseshoes/bags, and walking paths make the Hill a beloved getaway. Elroy/Sparta trail is 4 miles away that you can reach on the 400 trail just 1.2 miles from Hill.  Golf course in town, paddle on Baraboo, fish/swim at Dutch Hollow, or hike at Wildcat --all within 15 miles.

The Community Fire pit allows for you to kick back and enjoy.

Our fire pit comes with a swing away grill. Chef Victor does not... :)

Tent land is flat, shaded by mature trees and spacious.  Space is abundant and options endless on the Hill.

Total of 4 acres of space is available on the Hill.  Here is rough map for optimal tenting set ups.

Learn more about this land:Sloped 6 acres with a deck sleeping pad and a firepit for cooking or hanging out.  Very chill and secluded off the lake but close to boat landing for easy access.
