Having a mountain property to share with other outdoor lovers and creative minds has always been a dream of mine, and I'm honored to share this magical 30-acre property with you. This land sat vacant for about ten years until I started bringing it back to life last year. While the property is in its early stages, it still has much to offer! It has a few acres at the bottom of the valley with a creek that rolls through it. The remaining land is stunning mountain acreage, which you can explore. There are many unique sections of the mountains, but at a minimum, be sure to see the mountain spring! It's like a fairytale back there most of the year...
I'm developing and offering many types of stays, so as you wander the property, please be kind and courteous to all guests. Be sure to respect their camp space. ☺️

All campsites are well spaced apart and feature a huge view, fire pit, swing, chairs, bench, and a campsite cooker. Mushroom Trail featuring full size DoDo birds and giant connect 4 game is now open and free to all guests. Our private roads are in great shape. We are located 10 minutes from the interstate and Winterplace Ski Resort and just 20 minutes from New River Gorge State Park. Corn hole boards, swings, campsite cookers and chairs are provided.
Want to see 5 star panoramic views of the Appalachian Mountains? This ultra-safe, ultra-private property is located only 10 minutes off interstate 77. There is only one farm past ours so road traffic is very minimal. Plenty of room to do what you and your pets want to do while exploring our 60 acres. The sun rises up behind the view and lets you see just a little further. It is nothing short of amazing. The sunrises are always different and some are the most beautiful you have ever seen. The mornings sunrise and the stars out here on a clear night are two of the best things this mountain has to offer. It will not disappoint. We can accommodate up to a 35ft RV. The best part is no long walks, you can park at the campsites and camp on flat ground. Each campsite features chairs, a bench, a swing and a camp cooktop that is fueled by your campfire. Nothing is needed to use the cook tops other than a campfire. The local area has lots to do. Several National Parks, rivers and trails. View stars as only those miles away from any light can experience. The crickets and whippoorwills will sing you to sleep. Google link, trail map, and campsite location map will be emailed the day before arrival. The onsite Porta John is cleaned every month.
Prior to the first family inhabiting this gravel road it was used as a bird sanctuary. To this day, the entire road maintains one of the most diverse displays of Appalachian aviary wildlife.

Weekend Trip to Sky Valley Sanctuary
Steven and his property were great! We had a decent size group of friends looking for a camping get away for the weekend. He let us rent out the whole property and it was so great! It is right on a creek with lots of wildlife. The kitchens are set up with everything you would need. We will definitely be back, and I recommend you to rent the whole property for your large group as well!
