The mornings sunrise and the stars out here on a clear night are two of the best things this mountain has to offer. It will not disappoint. We can accommodate up to a 35ft RV. The best part is no long walks, you can park at the campsites and camp on flat ground. Each campsite features chairs, a bench, a swing and a camp cooktop that is fueled by your campfire. Nothing is needed to use the cook tops other than a campfire. The local area has lots to do. Several National Parks, rivers and trails. The cabins are primitive, no electric or water. There are solar lights inside and and out also a propane wall heater for chilly nights. This is comfortable camping in the Beautiful Mountains of WV. There is a shower house with instant hot water and outside spigots for water, a porta potty, a fire-pit for cooking and camp fires at night while star gazing. The property is over 100 acres in Greenbrier county WV. There is a lot of history in this area. There are tons of wildlife on the property as well. We have awesome trails with GREAT Views for hiking or horse back riding should you decide to bring your own equine. Pets are allowed with prior notice (not to be left unattended in the cabins). We have a private dog park that you will have access to on the property. We also offer doggie daycare & boarding here at the farm (prior proof of vaccine is required) should you need our services. We also house horses/ponies/ goats/sheep/geese/ducks & chickens here on the farm. We are located 4 miles from downtown Lewisburg which has wonderful stores, antique shops and restaurants. Looking for an affordable place to park your car, camper-van, or tent in Blacksburg? Thats us! We are located 20 minutes from downtown Blacksburg and Virginia tech but with a country atmosphere and a view of the New River. Our home is also home to three cats, a dog (who is fenced and quiet), chickens, and two peacocks. We would prefer you don't bring an animal of your own unless they are leased at all times and well trained. We have a picnic table and fire pit. We also have an electric hookup and trash can on the front porch for your use. Our home and campsite has a river view BUT NO river access. Please do not cross onto our neighbors property! However, if you want to access the river, the New River Junction is .5 miles down the road and has tube rentals late spring to early fall! Our home is easy to find, turn from Prices Fork rd onto McCoy rd and follow it to the end (approx 7 miles). Turn right at the stop sign and we are to the left off Big Falls in .3 miles. Our house is visible form the road and has a trampoline and chickens roaming. Be aware, there is limited cell service and NO easily accessable bathroom. Pee jars and camp toilets welcome. You can use our toilet inside if we are home. There is also a train a couple times a day. We think its pretty quiet but you be the judge! Happy camping!

What makes W.T. Farm special is the diversity of textures of the landscape. We have great mountain top views, as well as, a deep holler with cliffs, rock outcroppings, and waterfalls. The fields are full of fruit and nut trees and there are 5 ponds. Each of these supports its own flora and fauna. I acquired stewardship of this land 35 years ago and have developed perennial orchards wherever possible. I started with pears and have branched out into pawpaws, apples, persimmons, currants, black walnuts etc. and I boast that I planted the first commercial hickory oil orchard in the world. I am an eccentric horticulturalist and graft cultivar varieties onto existing trees like oaks, hickories, black walnuts, and even the maligned invasive honeysuckle, autumn olive and multiflora rose. Just last year I bought an adjoining farm that opened up 50 acres of more orchard planting. It is on top of the mountain and offers an expansive view of the valley and ridge system that defines our region. Funny thing is that because the land between the old farm and the new farm is divided by cliffs in the holler the only way to get from one to the other is a 12 minute drive or vigorous hiking. On this new land is a historic log cabin I am renovating that is said to be one of the original settler's cabin on the mountain. Because of the amount of tree fruit I grow and the varied landscape, there is a rich diversity of birds and animals to be seen. One of my favorite walks is along the cliffs to the top waterfall where there is a sweet wading pool. I have also built a number of ponds and four of them are quite swimmable. One has a dock and is where we spend much summer time refreshing and frolicking. The farm is also a small (very small) licensed farm winery and we make and sell traditional hard cider from our apples and pears. Our cider can be purchased along with our nut oils and flours and other farm produce you may not be familiar with. We live to eat. Coming here is a gastronomical adventure! I run the Acornucopia project from here and from it we are developing a foragers network that would very much suit the lifestyle of hipcampers. We pay foragers for wild nuts they gather. Weekend Trip to CB Ranch Camp -Almost Heaven cabins

Beautiful land very private and quiet. Place was roomy and comfy and loved the bear theme. Could see all the stars at night. We saw deer in the morning frolicking in the fall colors. They had a nice set up prepared for a small bonfire and water jugs to extinguish before bed which was a nice touch. There was a propane heater and plenty of blankets. We took a walk to the pond and located some frogs. We never made it to the shower but the area has plenty to do. We went to a cidery, drive over an 1800# covered bridge, lost caves and bridge day. Will come back some day.

Weekend Trip to Way Up Acres and Lodging

The bear camper had everything guests would need for a getaway in the woods such as air conditioner, space heater, extra blankets, camping area/seating and TV. With no cell reception and wifi, it was a true unplugged experience. The farm also had many types of animals - donkey, peacocks, pigs, hens, cats and goats. Guests being able to pet and feed them was really fascinating and fun! Farm fresh breakfast in their marketplace was great as well. It was a bit of a hike to the camper and was challenging to carry luggage from the designated parking. Specific parking should be provided near this camper (on the hill). Overall, a great experience away from home. We would love to come back and visit.

Weekend Trip to Bee Glamping Farm

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway to celebrate our Anniversary and stumbled upon the Glamping Farm's Vidalia 1. It was an excellent choice. Josette and Steve were excellent hosts and had everything set up for us upon our arrival including preheating the "cowboy hot-tub". Site is as described, and pictures accurate. An extremely comfortable/luxurious camping experience. So much attention to small details by the hosts! There is an abundance of outdoor activities and sites worth seeing, plenty within a 15 minute to half hour drive. We had 4 deer visit in the pasture on the opposite side of the road and the one morning snuck in along the road while we soaked in the hot tub. You can bring your well behaved pup with too!

4 nights at W.T. Farm?

I'm so glad we stayed here. This was such an incredible place it really feels like a hidden treasure. Incredible views EVERYWHERE. We came here specifically for the stars and milky way, which were amazing, but the fall colors really stole the show. This was the most wildflowers I've ever seen! Goldenrod in every direction. We were also completely alone here and there's plenty to explore. This is our new favorite place!

This place is adorable! It has everything you need as far as shower amenities, bedding and kitchenware. It’s very close to NRGP and many great hikes. The hot tub was an added bonus after a long hike. The hosts were accessible and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend. PS the driveway is steep so it might be difficult to navigate in a small non 4 wheel drive car. Also we used ACE adventures for white water rafting and their services were great!

This is a fun place to stay if you’re visiting the Lewisburg area. Wish we could have stayed longer. I liked that there were yummy home cooked meals available right there onsite! The bathhouse was clean and nice. The cabins have a pretty good amount of space between them and the hosts were so kind when I ran out of drinking water. Bring your own bottles of water or you can purchase some at the little store. It was a fun experience with the animals and everything and the view of the mountains was unforgettable. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay for the evening. Our kids loved all of the animals! We felt cozy in the camper, it was nice having access to wifi at the bath house since there was no cell service! Enjoyed breakfast on the way out! Would stay again if in the area!

The host gave excellent directions. It was perfect: clean and ready for us on arrival and felt very safe. My daughter and I loved the dark sky and in the morning you could hear birds chirping pretty songs. No tv or internet a great place to unplug. Getting to see a bunch of animals.

Beautiful spot, very quiet and off the beaten path but still close to town. Lewisburg is great with nice bars/restaurants, and the surrounding area has awesome hiking in Greenbrier. Cabin was clean and everything was very well organized. Highly recommend!
