SPOKANE CAMPING In The Forest

4 sites · Lodging, Tents10 acres · Spokane, WA
The property we named GAEA (the old Greek spelling of Mother Earth) was first seen in a vision. Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.

Hidden Acres Orchards

14 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents65 acres · Green Bluff, WA
I'm a 3rd generation farmer, working the same land as my father and grandfather. Hidden Acres Orchards is a 60 acre, u-pick fruit, vegetable, and flower farm. Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS.

The Old Weber Farm

4 sites · RVs, Tents13 acres · Cheney, WA
Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney.

Golden Hills Family Farm

1 site · RV80 acres · Spangle, WA
We are a small startup family farm. Our 80 acre parcel will offer you with many different opportunities. From the 40 acres of Alfalfa growing, to the orchard, to the many different livestock that we have here. Our family has jumped into the most amazing lifestyle and we love it. We are currently full time in our RV on the land. We are currently under a remodel construction project. It is close to the camp site. However, you are far enough away to still feel you have privacy and enjoy your stay. While waiting to get our house finished we have jumped into figuring out where our family farm is headed. It has been a fun journey so far and we look forward to being able to share it with you. SPECIAL NOTES: Our driveway is a little steep upon entrance. The power and water are further away than normal. We provide everything needed to make this a non problem for you. We have 4 “barn” cats running around. They tend to be too friendly and curious sometimes. We cannot guarantee that you won’t have cat prints on your vehicle… or one even trying to sneak in with you. We just want you to have the full picture before spending your hard earned money and trying to enjoy your stay. Learn more about this land: Your stay will be had on our fully operational small family farm. You are welcome to enjoy our animals following a short conversation of the rules while on your stay. Your RV door will be facing our neighbors black angus cow pasture. It is possible that you could have some visitors out your door from time to time! (On the other side of the fence of course) We typically have trails cut throughout the property for exploring if you choose. Our family lives on-site and fairly close to the RV pad. While we have no problem giving you as much privacy as possible. We do want you to know that this is a working farm and that means, heavy equipment could need to be operated. Animals make noise, and offer smells if the wind is blowing just right. We will almost always be outside doing something. Please be sure that this is something you are aware of and willing to have be a part of your stay.

Lazy Tree Homestead

2 sites · RVs5 acres · Ford, WA
We are a continually growing and working 5 acre Homestead. Though we are just starting out on the animals front they do tend to enjoy starting their days early. Feeding, cleaning, tending to animals including our working dogs, also start on the early side along with tending to our garden, small orchards and honeybees. Our property is fully fenced with smaller sections fenced off where we grow our food and for our apiary. We ask that you not open any gates without permission first, for the saftey of our animals and our guests. During the Spring and Summer seasons, relax in our Lazy Tree Grove. Pick one of our many hammocks, sit back and relax. There are hand swings, a rope ladder, small climbing wall, climbing rope wall, and a sand pit available for child use. Pull your RV up to one of our treed areas to set up (no hook ups) or select one of our 2 electric hookup spots in our driving loop around the chicken coop. (Tent camping allowed if accompanied by an RV) We are currently not yet set up for tent only camping and DO NOT have an outdoor toilet. There is a common area fire pit for use (when the season permits) with some chairs as well as a picnic table near the electric RV hook ups. Early Spring can be quite muddy so please be cautious when driving on the soft ground.
