We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable. The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours. The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub! We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub. We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls. I found the campsite easy to find, Margaret is lovely. I camped in the orchard with my tent. I enjoyed my stay and I was made to feel welcome. There is one toilet there near to reception and portable water. I would stay again and recommend it to, Thank you Margaret 😀

Really nice camping site not far from the beach at all, has everything u need, food trucks, bbqs and fire pits to loan for small few, had a very nice pizza one night, fish and chip van comes round, cows and goats on the farm, nice lights and flowers, nice toilets and shower blocks, I could go on. Definitely will be going back.

Absolutely beautiful site which was made even more special with Beryl. We loved the wildlife areas and the little paths to find games and the stream. We had a family game of rounders and watched the sunset from the bath 💖 we will certainly be coming back!

Best place we have stayed!! So relaxing and peaceful, lots of rabbits and bird to watch. The pitch was out of this world. We took our reactive dog and it was the best place we could of brought him so dog friendly. The host is so lovely and kind also very helpful if need will definitely be rebooking.

We had a lovely pre-Christmas stay and would highly recommend! The yurt was beautiful inside, spotless and had all the essentials. The beds were super comfy and the electric blanket helped keep us warm in the night. Mini fridge, small dining area and plenty of blankets for the colder nights. The bathroom facilities were also spotless and we all had fantastic hot showers which were very much appreciated. Kids loved seeing the donkeys in the mornings and there were plenty of outdoor toys for them to play with. We travelled into York both days which was about a 35 minute drive. Nearby towns had plenty of takeaways etc. Would 100% visit again!
