We loved staying on Shannon's property which was close enough to New Boston, TX but remote so we had the place to ourselves. We had the opportunity to hold and pet her new fluffy baby chickens. We brought our RV and enjoyed using the 30 amp hook-up. No water, so be sure to fill-your tank in advance. Ample firewood and we enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night & watching the stars.
For activities: on Saturday morning we went to the Mule Rodeo and in the afternoon went into town to have lunch and toured the nearby 3 Bostons Museum which has free admission. On Sunday morning we went to Atlanta State Park and went hiking on the Atlanta Volksmarch Trail to Wright Patman Lake.
We really enjoyed the solitude that this property offered and hope to stay there again!
